I want to express my total gratitude to Tims towing and recovery, because yesterday I was stranded with my car in Tybee Island, and they sent a tow truck to my rescue, the person who answered my call was so kind, so professional, so diligent, he treated me better than a family member and without knowing me, I am so grateful to Blake who was the person who picked me up, a great human being, we need many Blakes these days, super kind, respectful and helpful, my problem was late and it was difficult to find a mechanic at 10 at night, and the one who was supposed to help me was not at the address where Blake took me, when Blake saw me desperate he began to look for help for me, he spoke to Bryan who also works for Tims towing and is a mechanic, Bryan did not hesitate to come to my rescue, a very kind man, who knows what he is doing and no matter the time he is there to help you, between the dispatcher, Blake the driver and Bryan the mechanic, I could see the hand of God moving in my favor, I am sure that they are angels on this earth, I was 4 and a half hours from my house, by 11 at night they had already fixed my car and I was able to return home, I will never be able to finish thanking them for everything they did for this stranger, I pray to God that he blesses their lives and that they can continue being angels for more people, THANK YOU SO MUCH TIMS TOWING AND RECOVERY TEAM, YOU ARE AWESOME,YOU ROCK,YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST,WE NEED MORE ANGELS LIKE YOU. I've never been more thankful for them than today! My brand new car's clutch went out only a couple blocks from home. I called a couple different towing companies all to get no answers or sent straight to voicemail. Tim's answered right away, got all the information on where I was and where I needed to get towed too. My towtruck driver Blake was the nicest guy and I appreciate how kind, patient, informative he was! I told him I'd probably end up calling them again in the morning to tow it to my dealership and he ended up helping me switch the location to drop it off within the same day! I'm so, so thankful to them for helping me out in such a short time period! Within 20 minutes of having Blake there helping get my car onto the tow truck, I switched the towing location from my house to the dealership without having to end up doing two different trips!
I 10000000% recommend and WILL recommend this towing company to anyone and everyone who needs a tow! Thank you again Tim's for such great service and patience with my car issues!! Thank you again Blake for being such a wonderful towing agent! You guys are the absolute best! :)
Way Overpriced!
I needed a tow and called a few local companies—Tim’s Towing and Recovery was the first one I contacted. Big mistake! After getting other quotes, I realized they were charging me double what other companies were asking for the same service. Unfortunately, I had already agreed, so I was stuck paying way more than I should have.
This place is a total rip-off. They take advantage of people who need immediate help and overcharge without a second thought. Save your money and call someone else. Not worth it! Do not call them!
Our 2020 Western Star 5700 decided she needed a Valentine's gift and her fuel pump imploded on 2/13 on Interstate 16. We were very happy with the service that Chris and Robert provided. Price was fair for the roadside service too. We would recommend them should you need the assistance. Also, skip being towed to the dealership. Save money (literally half of the cost) and time and have Tim's tow you straight Elite Diesel of Savannah.
Tim’s towing. The one of the best towing companies I have ever dealt with. Lathan driver 12. Very professional and respectful. Got to me and got straight to work getting me on the hook. An got me to where I needed to go. He’s very safe and cautious. Answered any questions I had. And bs all the way to where I had to go. Definitely helped my day get better. If I ever need a tow again. Will definitely give yall a call.
Certainly not something we wanted to have happen, DEF sensor failure. But Tims Towing was to us within 3 hours. Driver was awesome. Would highly recommend Tim's Towing.
CROOKED BUSINESS partners with En Market. I parked at en market in a space that allows truckers to park up to 12 hours. I was towed in just under 3 hours.
Tim’s trucking would not look at my ELD or restaurant receipt as proof. There is obviously an agreement between deplorable Tim’s and the immoral manager of en market.
I had to pay $1105 to get my tractor out of this thief’s hands. BTW- they only accept cash or money orders- that tells you a lot! Criminals!
And should you attempt to BS the folks online, I still have my ELD and restaurant receipt as proof so just skip it. BEWARE OF THIS DISHONEST ‘BUSINESS.’
Just got my car towed with Tim’s: could not have had a better experience!
Ryan was my guy, he showed up on time and secured my car quickly. You could tell that Ryan is the consummate professional because he expertly put my car on the truck while simultaneously explaining the trucks capabilities. I was blown away. That truck rocks and so does Ryan!
I definitely recommend working with Tim’s to anyone who needs a car towed or any other roadside assistance. In my case, they make the towing experience a breeze. From making the appointment, to billing and payment, to the towing itself, everything was super easy and fast. I could not be more impressed. EXCELLENT.
I can't say enough about Tim's towing and recovery, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. I like in NC and my truck broke down in Bloomingdale, GA. I pulled into the very next exit at Quick Trip gas station and store. I called 2 towing companies and they could not tow ne. I had a tahoe and was pulling a trailer, well the last company referred Tim's towing and recovery. I spoke to dispatcher. She said it would be 1 &1/2 hours bf they could come. She sent invoice. I paid it. Well how about they were there in 30 minutes. Jim works in dispatch in the office. He came from out of office to come and tow us. Talk about customer service. He was knowledgeable, very professional, and very socialable.. He gave us a little history lesson on the way to Chevy dealer about the town. He showed us hotels and different food places around in case we had to stay over night. Also their prices are the same if you need them after hours as day time hours. AlI I have to say is if you need a tow definitely use Tim's towing and recovery in savanna GA. THEY ARE THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD TO USE. This is my second time having to use a tow company. I hope I never need a tow again, but if I need one in this area. This is who I'm using. Thank you Jim and Tim's towing and recovery.
I give Tim’s Towing the TOP rating in customer service!!! I spent four hours in a restaurant parking lot yesterday waiting on Hyundai Roadside Assistance. I finally got smart and just called Tim’s Towing (their web site looked professional). Marcie was sympathetic and professional. When the tow truck arrived I assumed (incorrectly) it was from Tim’s. It was the long lost guy from Hyundai. Marcie had charged my credit card but when I called this morning she had already reversed the charge and said she hoped my day went better than yesterday. I enthusiastically recommend Tim’s Towing! And do NOT recommend Hyundai Roadside Assistance.
Great experience and excellent driver from Tim’s Towing. It was quick and easy to load my lifted truck onto the flatbed due to it not starting. Highly recommend for a need of towing big trucks‼
Barry picked up my mint condition much loved convertible with a blown tire. He took excellent care of my car under stressful circumstances late on a Thursday. Barry was cheerful, compassionate, and efficient, while being careful with my vehicle (which mattered a lot to me). I was away from home with my car packed full for a work event and I had limited options. The Tim's Towing dispatcher was timely, responsive, and effectively got a driver to me quickly or I would have been stranded on a highway overnight. Barry made what would have been a terrible and expensive experience a pleasant one instead, which is saying something when you have a blow out, need a flat bed, and desperately need help after 6 PM on a weeknight! Thank you Tim's Towing, to all your employees and your driver, Barry.
Broke down on the side of I 95 in the pouring rain. Called 2 places before them. One didn't answer, the other told me noon.. this was at 7am. They were there at 830 as told to me by dispatch.
I want to thank Tim’s Trucking last week when my wife got a flat tire and they came to her rescue, she didn’t have a spare tire and needed a flat bed to take her car back to the house. They arrived to rescue her ahead of the time they said and took great care of her and her car. Ryan who came to assist her was terrific he was professional and curtious and it was very obvious he was proud

Tim's Towing and Recovery is a class act! Yesterday my car wouldn't start in the Tybee Island North Beach parking lot. After several attempts to start the engine, I phoned AAA and I was told that I would have a 4 hour waiting window. I wasn't happy about this, but I felt stuck. After 2 hours, AAA auto-phoned me to say that the window had been extended by another hour. By this point I was feeling a bit frantic because I was dehydrated from sitting in the vehicle in the sun, I needed to use the restroom, and also I needed to get home to take my medication. I decided to call another tow company and I am so grateful that I found Tim's Towing. Tisha was super helpful and professional when I called in. She expedited the call and made me feel like I mattered. The driver James Jenkins came out quickly (in under 45 minutes) and he deftly hooked up my car and had us on the road in minutes. James is very personable, and he calmed what had been a really stressful situation for me. I would recommend that you keep Tim's Towing phone number in your wallet!
We have been towed yesterday night by Fred and Ryan. We were stock on I-95 in our RV. They are absolutely fantastic. They really took care of us. They are really professional. I have been using Tim's Towing and Recovery since 2015. They move equipment for my company several times a year. I have never had an issue with damage. I cannot say enough about Craig Sumner and the drivers at Tim's towing. They always have gone above and beyond. And it's very much appreciated.
I had an unfamiliar vehicle that needed towing, the operator was courteous, she worked with me throughout scheduling the pickup. Then Travis came with his truck and was able to hook my vehicle right up and bring it home. He was very polite and he made the ride less stressful with conversation. I 10/10 recommend their service and would definitely use them again.

Well besides the flat tire and my car on side this experience has been amazing. Jarrett has been great host for letting me ride along in his truck. He came on time and towed my car swiftly and we went. All I'm saying is no problem and would highly recommend to friends and family no lie best experience with a towing company.
