Earlier this month I had occasion to call Gordons in need from a tow from Tybee Island to Savannah. The service was promt, efficient and courteous thanks to the driver (John F) and the office coordinator (Name?). Many thanks.
Terrible service. The worse customer service. If you are going to do any business be aware that this is the worse service that there is. The driver and the receptionists are not polite. They will damage your car, charge you a lot of money. Always pay Card, don't you never ever pay cash unless it's your only choice.
If you can call anyone else please do and keep your property safe. And you save yourself the hustle.
When you provide a service you most be professional, this experience showed me how uneducated, rude and ruthless they are. Zero care, zero respect. Just trying to get money out of people.. don't you have pride on what you do?
I have used Gordon’s a few times over the years most recently today. They are really responsive, show up quickly and have reasonable prices. Today my daughter’s car stopped at Skidaway and Victory intersection. The police helped her get it to a parking lot. I thought it was starter or alternator, and planned to have it towed to my favorite mechanic, but John with Gordon wanted to be sure, so he tried to jump it. This worked. Turns out it was the battery. This allowed us to drive it home save money on the tow and diagnosis at the mechanic. Really great work on his part. The cars auto shutoff had me fooled. Once disabled we could drive it home. I highly recommend Gordon’s. Payment is also very easy through a link they send by text message.
Great service. Me son is at SCAD and his car was not starting. He tried to jump it off but he couldn't get it to start. I called Gordon's to get it towed. They came out, and before helping push the car out of the parking deck so it could be towed, they tried to jump it off and it started. Gordon's just charged for the jump service and refunded the extra charge for a tow within 5 minutes.
Best tow company! I had my car towed three different times by them over the past 3 days and it was perfect every time! The two drivers I had were absolutely amazing and the ladies who answered the phone were so sweet and helpful.
Well I'm not familiar with Savannah but my sister ended up having a flat tire. She ended up parking on West 35th street. She couldn't leave the car because she was afraid that it will get vandalized. I called Good Sam's and they were able to call a tow truck out. I know in the city they're very busy We had about a 2-hour wait which was pretty disappointing But when I called other tow truck drivers the wait was about the same They did not call for updates so that was a real bummer most the time when I have to have a toe the tow truck driver will call or the dispatcher will call with updates and there was absolutely none When you're stranded it's always nice to get updates so this was of course disappointing
We did call so they were available by phone and they gave us an estimated time At first it was just going to be an hour but then they switched and said it was going to be longer so that too was disappointing I will say though that we really like the tow truck driver when he arrived He was red on it very professional and super super friendly you could tell he was a hard worker so they get a bonus point for that
Gordon Wrecker Service is a Rip off they charged Me $75 Cause I Wouldn't give them my Key I'm glad I didn't cuz as I'm reading the reviews I see one lady said somebody broke into her car when the guy told her that nobody was going to broke into her car when they did anyways that's one of the reasons why I did not give them my key and why I say they're a rip-off it's only been 3 days and when I called today they told me that my balance is already at 500 and something dollars plus they have to charge me $85 for sending off a piece of paper stating that if I don't get the car by today which is 12/3/24 they're going to have to send out a paper that cost $85 I don't think so an answer can you just hold off the paper because you already told me so she said they got to send it out anyway and from the times that I've been talking to the receptionist since this is a family business they've been real rude and like a real determined voice like somebody scattered him or something it's not making no sense because I didn't call them to tow my vehicle it was a nasty officer that stopped me so it wouldn't have been nothing between us as for me calling them like they said in the review the receptionists are very rude and they are that's why I'm saying it because they are very rude so I give him No stars I had to do one star so I can post it that's the only reason why they got one star from Me in my car better not be messed with when I come and pick it up Vehicle Thank U
Responsive, honest and clear about to expect. Called them during a flash flood that left several people stranded. They provided open communication and reliable service. Price more than fair considering the circumstances and other available options.
