My car was towed for less than 24 hours and the guy who towed the car STOLE all my Nike attire I had inside my car!!!! I Do NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!! Then they tried to say someone was going in the cars overnight, when the cars should be locked in your possession!!
So, I needed a tow to my mechanic to get my car serviced. My mechanic recommended them over the free tow service through my insurance provider. Not only were they two hours late, but no one updated me, I had to call for updates. Plus, them being so late caused my car to not get worked on and my mechanic to hold my car over the weekend. Absolutely worst towing service I have ever used.
The dispatcher and driver made me wait for a whole day to come tow the vehicle..the tow truck finally came and they took the vehicle to the wrong address..dropping the car off where they guess it was supposed to go..the mechanics is waiting for the arrival of the vehicle and it never showed up..they left the vehicle in front of someone front door that's at least 9 to 10 blocks away from the location its supposed to be which is the shop...ive also paid them cash..and they will not contact me about there mistake..but the company standards is not professional..they abandoned my car at someones neighborhood..it never made it to the shop..they block me after when they mention I had to pay them again to go and get it again..ill never will call them again..and if anything happens to my car..can I sue this towing service?
This is one of my absolute favorites! I walked through the door and I'm treated like family every single time. Mr Wells is one of the kindest men, with one of the biggest hearts, that is gone through more things than most men ever do in a lifetime. I go there sometimes just to sit and absorb some of the knowledge. I've grown to care about this company as if my family owned this company, and if there's anything that I can do for them to put a smile on their face, I will do so. I’m an army wife new to the area, and I was ready to cry when my car broke down, and we were treated carelessly by other local tow companies (including our already paid for emergency road side service)—until my husband and I were lucky enough to happen upon Wells Towing and Recovery. Other companies acted as if this ALREADY PAID FOR SERVICE was some great favor we were asking them to do and didn’t even have the common decency to call us back when they canceled on us. By some MIRACLE, we ended up with Wells Towing, and the difference in treatment is phenomenal. Tricia and Eric were incredibly nice, friendly, and actually gave us estimates of their arrival and treated us with not only common decency (can’t say the same for literally any of the many other local businesses) but also KINDNESS!!! It’s sad how hard it is to find that nowadays… I can’t recommend them enough.
So tonight, 4-14-22, I came across a vehicle in the middle of the road work area on 16 under 95 (that small turn in area where they are rebuilding 16 under I-95), and pulled in their to wait with this young family for the tow truck and for their ride because their car was disabled, and I just wanted to say, the driver that came out was one of the most professional and concerning and nicest drivers I have ever met and I just wanted to say thank you to him for his professionalism. I work on accident scenes and disabled vehicles where I am around many tow truck drivers, and let's just say many of them are not the nicest, but this guy is raising the bar and I swear he deserves a raise for what he did tonight. Bravo
I needed my car towed out of a parking garage and Wells was one of the only companies who could do it! Justin showed up in under an hour and got my car out. He was hilarious and made me feel better about the unfortunate situation with my car. Justin you rock!! Thanks Wells.

Not only that, they were so gentle with my husband’s motorcycle when they towed it (we were at the hospital at the time).
I called at 3:00AM to the daytime phone & someone picked up... whaaaat??!!
YUP!! In the middle of early morning someone was there for me, in my frazzled state, I heard a calm, kind voice simply ask, “are you & your husband ok?”....

Recieved a bill in the mail for a car that they towed that we sold over a year ago for the towing fees and also for $25 dollars per day storage.... the letter arrived 16 days after it was dated so at minimum it was $400 . The letter also threatened to sue us and charge us court costs. When I called I was told that we were the last people that the car was registered to so we were responsible even though they had been in contact with some other woman that it was towed from for lack of insurance. We don't own the car and they need to go after the person who holds the title.
They really are a horrible tow service. Their drivers are liars and their absolutely too high. Their communication skills are lacking class and integrity
My car broke down, luckily by my home, and had to call insurance for a tow. Insurance sent out Wells and after a confusing call from an unintelligible girl about the extended wait time my car was finally towed. Auto repair shop did it's job correctly, but when they towed my car they bent my tie rod and screwed the alignment. Fresh damage with beautiful pics and they want to say it wasn't them! Worst towing company ever!!! Unwilling to claim responsibility for damage caused by them!!!
They were great , professional service. I had a little later e.t.a. than what was given, but they kept me updated and for that i was greatful. I would recommend them highly.
Really not happy. I called in my USAA roadside assistance at 2:00 and the tow truck was supposed to show up at 3. Its july and very hot. So, at 3:30 they showed up with a broken tow truck, which had to be dropped off at their tow shop. So, they got another tow truck, and finally towed me the 19 miles to my house. So, from the time I called to the time I was dropped off, it was over three hours. On top of this they charged me $5/mile. Do not recommend.
Horrible!( the only reason they got one star is because i cant post this review with 0 stars) I would not recommend them at all! USAA had set me up with them to tow my car to my dealership. Josh came and at 1st was very nice, he helped get my car loaded up and we were on our way. Well as we started talking he got way to comfortable with me. Started talking about his wife and how horrible she is and it will soon be over between them because of how much a flirt he is and how is acts when hes drunk or high and he went on telling me how many army wives hes slept with (because i am a army wife) he told me all they do at the shop is drink and smoke weed, play games. He stated that if the other guy (cant remember his name) was driving me he would smoking a blunt the whole ride because thats how he stays motivated to work and then stated how its to bad that hes not smoking because if he was he would have to ask me to pull over(meaning he would ask to have sex with me) he knows I am married!!!!! it was so bad when we got to the shop I told the lady please do not say anything to the driver about giving me a ride home, i will wait here all day if i had too. That was the most uncomfortable 30 mile ride I've ever experienced. I will never use them again!
Today I was with a good man going to get his sons bike back.. His son passed away and then the bike was stolen after a long grueling process he got the bike released from police custody.. Mr wells was then charging him 1700 dollars for towing and storage when he had nothing to do with it getting towed or being placed there. After arguments he dropped it to 1380 thats it. Not helping much. Then the father went to see the bike a few days ago and it was kept in terrible conditions He took a picture to show all of us friends. He then proceeded to complain at us to take the picture down because he didn't want the public to see the condition of his shop..today when we all arrive to get the bike he has cars sitting there his workers all sitting around doing nothing. The place is a mess the bike is dirty as hell. He was rude and still up'd the price he had a child in his office while smoking cigarettes in an enclosed office. He was yelling and being rude as hell he had no right to speak to customers the way he did. He is a terrible person he is running a terrible business. He has no customer service. Mr wells I hope you learn something from this experience and realize you have screwed over the wrong family.
I had a broken ball joint on my Jag XK8 this is not an easy tow, they were very proficient and knowledgable. I would use them again in a heart beat. Very professional.
I reported a missing ipod and a rolll of quarters in my car when they towed my car after my husband was in an accident and taken to the hospital. I went to their location the very next day. They never called me back and when I called and spoke to a manager, he indicated that they were not responsible for theft.
