Through triple AAA, Watkins Towing responded in a fast, timely and efficient manner. The gentleman that came to help check my brother’s Toyota Camry today was very friendly and extremely helpful. He provided excellent customer service and advised us that we have Toyota take a look at the starter and to let them know the car battery was leaking as well. I would definitely use them again in near future.

Watkins Towing responded to our Lexus Roadside Service a few days ago. Young Black woman (failed to get her name) responded and was absolutely first rate. She know what was needed to get us going... did the needful; and taught us some things about our car we needed to know. Really first rate...and very nice person.

This is a bit of a mix bag, honestly. Let me break this down a little bit more specifically. The dispatcher: 1 out of 5 stars The tow truck guy: 5 out of 5 Stars Long story short I had my Honda serviced earlier in the day and the garage did not properly do a fuel line flush. The result is that the car slammed into emergency mode with all of the warning lights going off at once and me being unable to drive faster than 20 mph. I called the dispatcher after pulling over on a side road and attempted to explain the situation, where I was, and what I needed from them space ( Namely back to the garage that did my fuel and flush.) Without the help of technology from their website, I don’t think I ever would’ve been able to communicate with this person. They seemed utterly unfamiliar with the area that I was talking about. More than a little annoyed at my problem and generally unsympathetic. I was honestly worried that I was going to be left where I was with no tow truck coming to my assistance. The tow truck guy: what a world of difference this guy made! A literal beacon of light out of the darkness he arrived, was kind, funny, sympathetic, and super nice to talk to in helping me get my car where needed to go. not only that he gave me a ride back to my house after he towed my car. Legend! The major Takeaway, if you can deal with the mindnumbing awfulness of going through the dispatcher to get to the tow truck service, I would absolutely recommend it. Take some aspirin, listen to some soothing music, to get yourself through the conversation, Because your reward is a super top competent tow truck experience, which is almost worth the pain of car trouble.

Amazing service and the tow truck driver went above and beyond to help me get my car to the right repair place.

Technician was there and completed removing old battery and installing new one in 25 minutes. He was friendly and did an excellent job

Garrett came out to do a battery check through my AAA service. He was knowledgeable, polite and above all competent and honest.

It's hard to imagine a more poorly run operation. Never show, never answers the phone. I was informed by my insurance company that this is often the case with this company and insured road-side-service. Why offer the business if you can't offer a good service?

My car broke down and I used my AAA membership to contact and send a tow. Of course, without warning, it happened on a holiday weekend here in Savannah, GA, where I just started a new job working for the city. I ended up being set up with Watkins Towing and Recovery and they were terrific. I ended up super-satisfied with AAA and Watkins. First of all, I’ve gotten used to having to wait 3-4 hrs for a couple of previous vehicle mishaps, and was dreading it; but Watkins arrived quickly, hooked me up, and had me towed to my destination all in around 2 hrs. And that was during morning rush hour, to a dealership (Vaden) that’s 20-25 minutes drive away in light traffic. My driver was Sam and he was just very cool all the way around, in a hurry but patient with me, answered all my questions and calmed my worries, and warned me about the high cost of certain mechanics (and he was exactly right). I’d hit him up and will use Watkins against, the next time I’m jammed up with car issue. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Never use this service. Matthew told me it was my alternator when he came out via AAA. Instead of letting the battery sit & charge instantly told me my battery was shit and I should’ve never used Walmart. He went on & on about how their $250 battery was much better and cost me a lot of inconvenience. By the end of his horrible sales speech he told me it was the alternator! Dude had no idea what he talking about, I charged up the battery today via Walmart and it’s holding charge. Car is driving fine. All I needed was a jump and instead got the Worst experience ever.

My wife’s car battery didn’t function, but once Watkins called, they were polite, well before time, and allowed me to get her car safely home. Watkins is reliable and steered me in the right direction even when my roadside recovery call through a company had absolutely no clue. Thanks, would recommend to anyone.

They have saved me not once but twice! Very trustworthy people and I even learned a bit of car knowledge from Jeremy. 10/10 would recommend when life beats you and your car down.

Had a perfect experience, our driver was Rante and he was beyond kind and professional. He made a scary situation much less stressful, I’m very happy to have had him take care of my vehicle! Totally satisfied, thank you so much.

I called another tow company before calling Watkins and they left me on the side of the road for 2 in a half hours !!!!! Ridiculous but Watkins was sooo helpful and the driver Rante Was very communicative, personable, and pleasant. I can honestly say I recommend Watkins 100% Thank you for ending my day on a happy note….. Your Company Rocks in the towing Industry for sure… Again thank you Rante it was a pleasure….

I had a great experience with Watkins Towing and Recovery. They were extremely quick to get to me, and Bante, who towed my car, was awesome. Super professional and just a great guy all around. He definitely made a stressful situation a lot easier. Honestly, give that man a raise (kidding… but not really)!

Had to request a tow through AAA, and Watkins picked up the job. Kevin arrived ahead of schedule, and he was amazing… 5 stars doesn’t do him justice. He was personable, professional, very kind, and takes great pride in his job and service to others. I rode along with him to the auto shop. His truck was extremely well kept inside and out and a surprisingly comfortable ride. I most definitely recommend Watkins, and specifically Kevin, if you have the option. He made dealing with a broken down car on a Monday AM a pleasure for me!

We were literally ghosted by them. Absolutely do not recommend this company. I called them late at night to winch a truck. They told me they’d be there in 30 minutes, We waited—and they never showed up. No call, no update, nothing. When I tried to follow up, I realized they had blocked my number. I even tried calling from my wife’s phone, and after calling twice they blocked her number too. If you didn’t want to take the job, you could’ve just said so instead of leaving us stranded in the middle of the night. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. But thankfully we found another company to get us out and for 1/3 of the price you quoted. Update 06/19: Since you're claiming there's no record of my call, I’ve uploaded photos as proof. Convenient excuse when you don’t feel like doing your job, huh? I was told someone would be out in 30 minutes — that was at 12:04 AM. We waited. And waited. No one ever showed up. At 1:57 AM, I tried calling again using *67 because it was 100% clear you blocked our number. I’m not the type to leave one-star reviews just to complain, but this experience was unacceptable. You left us helpless on the side of the road in the middle of the night after giving your word that someone was coming. We waited over an hour with no contact, no follow-up, and no intention from you to actually help. If you didn’t want to do the job, you could’ve just said so. Instead, you chose to ghost us and leave us stranded. We ended up calling someone else who actually cared, showed up, and got us out safely. The people need to know what kind of “business” you’re really running. This wasn’t a mistake — it was a complete disregard for human decency.

This company is top notch. When they say open 24/7 they mean it. Late night early morning everywhere else was closed, I happened to see their business online. I had already called 3 previous towing companies, they answered the phone, on the first ring. They dispatched a driver immediately. Right after they hung up. My phone rang with the driver and he was just confirming he was in route. There was hardly any wait time at all 20min. or less. My driver Mike P was very professional and had my car ready to go in 5min. Watkins is definitely reliable, punctual, professional. Definitely what you need when you need a tow. Definitely will be using them in the future for my towing needs. Look no further Watkins Towing and Recovery will take care of your towing needs.

To add to my wife's review. Went on Wednesday and was told I needed documents. Not a surprise that's all good. I go Thursday then told only take cash. Thats odd. Then I go Friday during the business hours they stated. No one there. Went Saturday, no one there. Went this morning, no one there. Went at lunch, shocker, no one there. Finally get a hold of someone and was told to be there at 330. No one there. Waiting 15 minutes and nothing. So i left, and was told to go back and would be there at 4, shocker again. No one there. Then told go at 430. And finally got the car. After I wasted hours trying to get it back. Having my wife get yelled at by a rude receptionist or whatever her title is that she feels entitled and important enough to talk to people with zero respect. The prices changed every time I talked to someone different. Never had a straight answer and also made to pay cash. If you have your car towed from a parking lot I highly suggest you proceed with caution and record the conversations..the guys there that tow are nice and have dealt with them a handful of times and seem to be a fine towing company in that regard. But goodness, I've never dealt with such a rude, non punctual, thoughtless women in my life. Bless her.

Erin, and Murphy assisted me in having my old mustang towed. They were professional and very personable. It was nice to have regular conversations. I did find out out that we were both chihuahua lovers. Yes, I did have my chihuahua, Pebbles with me. However, all she did was bark. If I needed any more tow services, I would reach out to them again. "A" top service. Thank you Erin & Murphy!

Professional, friendly, courteous, and very flexible. One of our children was in Savannah when their car died and needed to be towed to a nearby shop. Jerry responded and was incredibly kind and friendly. He expertly loaded the car. When the AAA dispatch mistakenly provided a wrong delivery address, I was able to easily work with Jerry to correct the delivery address even though I live in New England. It is so nice to know that even from almost 1000 miles away, Watkins Towing was able to provide me with excellent service and peace of mind.

Had a great experience with the technician that showed up this afternoon! Brittney called ahead and let me know she was on her way. She arrived when she said she would, even with rush hour traffic. Very courteous and loaded up my broke car in a fast, yet safe and efficient manner. Towed it to predetermined location without a hitch. Overall, great experience! 10/10, highly recommend!

I want to thank Watkins towing for coming to my rescue. We were headed to Florida to our 2nd home ,and had to pull off I 95 near pooler Georgia due to the wheel bearing about to seize up. They sent out their flatbed, Sam was amazing at securing our vehicle and making the 200 mile trip. Thank you so much Sam,you guys saved me from a trip from hell. You made our day. Watkins did an incredible job with my tow. Ryan Burnett was my driver and was amazing! He was professional and friendly. He was incredibly helpful and efficient. He took great care of my vehicle making sure everything was secure during the tow. Ryan was courteous and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. On 11/7/24 Michael was very helpful and fast working! He arrived quickly and changed my tire. He even checked the air pressure of other tires. Updated: On 11/12/24 I received excellent communication and customer service from the female dispatcher and she quickly realized we were in an emergency situation and routed a tow truck to us immediately. The man who arrived was also very kind, professional and moved quickly to get us out of the middle of traffic! (Sorry I didn’t catch names this time)

Used them tonight through AAA to tow my Cadillac to the dealership and I'd give more stars if I could! The young man who responded was very professional and took great care of my car! He also had a great personality and you can tell he prides himself in his work. I appreciated him calling to let me know his ETA and then again when he was almost to me. I used my AAA due to a flat tire and this company came promptly to save me from my nightmare. The driver of the tow truck was extremely kind and had a great personality. He called me and followed up once he dropped my car off at the tire place.
