Super friendly and helped me out tremendously when I was in a bind on a road trip back home. Very grateful for the people at Thompson Tire.

I dropped my car off early in the morning and went back in the afternoon to see if it was fixed, but the rude attitude of the female staff member made me mad. I never want to go there again.

Had a new set of tires put on, once finished I noticed they had grinded the inside of my wheels in order to add the weights. One, I’ve never had a company take a grinder to a set of wheels and Two they didn’t grind in only the place they were putting the weights, it literally looked like a toddler had done it. There were swirl marks and places grinded down to the aluminum all inside the rims. Their response was if I had waited two weeks I would’ve never known because the brake dust would’ve covered it up. Once he saw them, he did admit that it was a bit excessive. Also, my tires didn’t match with my sensors. They offered to paint the inside of my rims and swap the tires. Went back the next day to pick it up and they did in fact paint the inside of the wheels but they didn’t even clean the whole rim before they painted it, only where the marks were. They swapped the tires and put 10 extra pounds of pressure in the tires than what it called for but I can deal with that. Got home and let air out of the tires and once again the tires were in the wrong place again. Called and told them so then he offers to use his tool to reprogram the sensors to the correct tires. Why wasn’t that done to begin with!? Went back to let them do that and he expressed he was sorry for all the issues and offered a free oil change. So if you want them to take a grinder to your rims when balancing them, do the bare minimum and be careless with your vehicle then yes I would recommend them. If not, then you better go somewhere else.

The staff were all so friendly and I got the best service I've had in the US.

We were in our RV on our way home when the tire pressure sensor said one of the tires was low. We still had another 8 hours to go so we stopped at the Loves right off the highway. Loves didn’t have the right equipment for our size tires so they recommended this place. Very courteous, and reasonably priced. While it did take a while, about two hours, they were honest and didn’t try to do or charge us for something that wasn’t necessary. I didn’t mark off for the time it took because I understood they had prior jobs they were working on and needed to arrange their schedule to try and help us. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Thomson is the best in the area by far. I had to stop in with a flat tire, and they were quick, helpful, and reasonably priced. They’re so personable—it felt more like visiting friends than just waiting for your car. Thanks Thomson!

Great folks, great to have them just down the road. Be patient as they are always really busy but they have a good handle on time management and do their best to slide jobs in.

They were awesome… my family of 5 with 3 dogs were traveling home from the beach in hurricane Debby when a heater hose burst. I googled the closest mechanic and got this wonderful man who gave us the wrecker info and then fixed our hose and got us back on the road the same day!! Recommend 100%!!!

After having a flat tire on the interstate 3 hours from home, I was able to find Thomson Tire for a repair or replacement. Even though I showed up just minutes before closing time they were very friendly and helpful. The tire was beyond repair and I needed a new tire. After putting the new tire on they made sure I was safe to get back on the road with my 2 daughters and on my way home. Highly recommend!!

One of the best places to get yo8r tires changed, very friendly people and very respectful also, I can't imagine getting my tires fixed at any other place but this tire shop.

I just left Savannah heading towards Macon when I had a flat tire. I pulled into Thomson Tire Co. for assistance. They were so professional and efficient! They had me back on the road in no time! I highly recommend this company!

Blew a tire on the way to Hilton Head. They were able to fix me up with a spare within 40 mins of me arriving to their shop, 5PM on a Friday. I will definitely go to them if I ever need anything in Ellabell again!

I'm glad we found this place. They seem very honest, to me. They have always been able to SHOW me the problem and it's obvious they aren't trying to take advantage of me. They are quick, they aren't trying to keep my vehicle for long periods of time. The prices seem reasonable. I have no complaints.

After running over a bolt, I called Thomson's and they were able to get me in right away. The mechanic showed me the bolt and explained he'd need to patch instead of repair and asked if I was ok with that. The repair was quick and I was back on the road shortly. I truly appreciate a place that doesn't try to rip you off and act like you're a dumb female.

Took 2 trucks in for repair and they said they were ready. Went to pick em up and the one I just paid a grand to fix acted up immediately. It didn't even make it home. Now I've worked as a mechanic previously. They worked on it and put it outside with the window stuck down.. no call to say window was acting up.. I would have told them to fix it. Also didn't replace a tire I asked them to. The second truck was repaired and it had a low tire.. as a courtesy I would have aired it up.. nope they put it outside and said it was ready.. all around a very disappointing experience and I will continue to look for a good mechanic in this area.

I went there for a tire to get checked because it was slowly leaking. I found out my rim was cracked. I went home and it went flat again. I brought it back to Thomson Tire Co. they took the lug nuts off for free. I appreciate it. Warren was the employee that helped me. He is an amazing person and I really appreciate your help Warren.

Great place to fulfill all your car maintenance needs. The owner is very friendly and flexible. I am a very picky person with who I allow to work on my truck, however I was not disappointed. Definitely recommend going here!

I was at the Love's on 208 when I called this shop to ask about tire repare. Close to emergency services, I couldn't wait another day or it would have been horrible for me. A man answered, told me to bring it on in, and it would be fixed right away. And as promised, my problem was fixed in a timely manner, with extremely awesome customer service. Very warm people, excellent local business to support!

I went and paid for a all-wheel alignment , 2 brand new back tires and a ball joint for front passenger wheel which totaled up to $900 dollars and my vehicle is running and pulling harder than it was before I took it back up there and the man told us to come back that following Monday to check it out he drove it for a total of 2 minutes brough it back and said it was my tires need to be bought brand new on front before he could even understand what the problem is so no I am not satisfied with my service thus far . which means I myself would have to spend another $400 dollar before the problem can be identified. I do not recommend them at all and will not be returning back to them good luck to you on your visit if you decide to go....

Went in for 90$ alignment and brought in tires to be put on. They charget 30$ to mount and balance a tire!They added a ball joint without telling me or calling to see if it was okay. I was going to do the balljoint myself. 120$ cost 320.00! Will never go again!

They are the best tire shop I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I have a odd size tire the other tire shop I had an appointment with order one tire and I had to be done today because of a funeral 6 hrs away I must go to tomorrow and I think it is the owner I was dealing with got me in sent someone to get my tires and they are squaring me away as I write this. They have a customer for life. I love when I deal with real good people who are not just working for the all mighty dollar but running a business and doing so like an American owned and operated business was meant to be .

They have helped with tires on cars, trucks, tractors, and tires. I trust them when I drop a vehicle off in the morning and they'll have it done after work. Oil changes and service. I have ordered tires online and they install. Quick, friendly, and reliable. Good prices too. Highly recommended.

I and my wife has been doing trade here for years. Almost all of our tire needs personal and for Pineora Handi-House are taken care of in a very prompt manner. Glad to still be able to do business with a phone call and a hand shake. They have never failed to help us out.

My alternator was acting up while I was in Savannah, so I bought a new one. It started working so I decided to install it later. When I got to Pembroke it started acting up again, and I knew I didn't have much time before the battery would be completely dead. I Googled mechanics in the area and Thompson Tire popped up with good reviews ..... Well I can add another good review because they installed it quickly and at a very good price. I recommend them

Large selection of tires and great service. We bought 2 used tires and they installed and balanced them very quickly. We also had a tire with a slow leak and they patched it up. They were upfront and honest about our options and the price was more than reasonable.
