I wish the world had more people like the owner and son of Tony’s auto body and repair in it. They made a terrible day tolerable. We were stranded almost a 100 miles from home we were involved in a serious accident. The father and son team were Johnny on the spot picking up what was left of our BMW outta the road but they were also kind enough to drive myself, wife and our two dogs all the way home after helping me pack our luggage into the son’s Luke’s SUV. I cannot express strongly enough the level of kindness we were shown. I will always be grateful
The only reason I give this business 5 stars is because there's no higher rating. They're great! We had an emergency on Friday, June 21, 2024. It was late afternoon and we had two busted , odd size, tires no one in Bleckley County (or neighbors) could replace.
We needed routine maintenance anyway so I asked Joseph of Tony's Auto Body & Towing for help. He jumped on the problem like white on rice and got my car to the dealer in Warner Robins before they closed (Thanks, Joseph!). This place feels more like a neighbor than a business.
Once, several years ago, my mother-in-law ran her truck off into the woods and couldn't open the doors. Joseph jumped to the rescue, pulled her out with a wrecker, and got her free. I hate to think what could have happened. Yep, 5 stars isn't enough.
Joseph came to our rescue on a rainy night when our daughter hit a deer. He was prompt returning our call and came as soon as he could to tow the car. Unfortunately, the car was totaled, so I can only speak to his towing service.
I would gladly call him again, if the need arises. I just hope we don’t need to call him anytime soon.
On the 24th of this month, I hit a huge buck in my truck. Tony's Auto Body, promptly came out and towed my vehicle to their shop. I rode with the driver, I wish I knew his name and I spoke with the owner when we got there. I must say these 2 guys made me feel welcome, after a tragic accident. I have the utmost respect for these guys and their knowledge. Thank you guys for your service, I highly recommend this shop.
I hope I explain so it's understood. I had accident last night in Cochran Ga. Law came and called Tonys wrecker service. One truck came and said I'm going to get the other one just in case this one's too heavy. Not because they needed it to tow anything. So they got my truck and some lawn mowers I bought in my trailer and I told him I need to go to Georgia Waycross the the owner said wai t until tomorrow . I was also charged 2 x $75 ($150) clean up and there was no clean up. NONE. Both driver
and officer committed how there wasn't any clean up. . Also charged 2 times $250 towing just to the shop just up road. And. I was charged 2x 20 for storage. Only maybe 8hours. I emphasize I really needed to get back to Waycross I hope you can help me well I'm just going to say this short and sweet I think that comment cost me a lot. On top of being charged twice tows for a truck that was stated wasn't needed and for cleanup that never happened. I was then charged $1,100 to be take Waycross Georgia I read the owner response to Ms Estes comment he took her about 25miles for $125. So 4 times that distance comes to $500 if I would have been charged at that rate. But I was charged over double that rate. $1100.00 and it wasn't after hours. Only -one truck was used to go to Waycross when I was charged for two trucks in the beginning the night of the accident.. For grand total of $1,811.25.
In conversation some there thought that was outrageous. As do I but I was over a barrel. I feel like I was overcharged and charged for things that never happened or never needed. I just don't feel like I was treated like someone who had just had a wreck and needed some Christian help. I hope God can make this right somehow I have faith he will.
PS the only strap I owned that I was using to tie down mower was cut.
At the very least I feel I was charged $415.00 for services not rendered.
$150 clean up
$250 unnecessary tow
$15 cut strap.
And $1100.00 is a little much for #about 100 miles
Towing - I was stuck in the mud on the side of the road, on a highway I didn't know, on a stormy night in South Georgia. They pulled me out, and I was back on the road! Thanks a million!
Had a one vehicle accident pulling a trailer with 1000 board ft of freshly treated lumber.
Totaled everything. Lumber alll over road.
Didn’t know what to do.
My farm was 60 miles away, where I needed lumber to go.
When Joseph arrived with wrecker , I explained this to him and had no idea what to do!
Joseph told me “ don’t worry about anything , just tell me what you want done.
He picked up lumber loaded onto another trailer and delivered it to my farm! And yes I was pleasantly surprised. He treated me better than family!
I am so grateful to Joseph and his family for taking care of everything!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. My car ran hot right outside of Cochran last night and a family member recommended them. Well bad recommendation in my opinion. They over charged to go to Dexter, my husband had to ride with the tow truck driver who was so very rude and wouldn't even speak two words to him except I got to get back Cochran. Then he drove between 65 and 75 miles an hour in a 55. He didn't even strap my vehicle all the way down. When we thanked him he ignored us and drove on. He also didn't seem to know how to drive the tow truck. I highly recommend you use someone else. What a waste of time and money. If you don't like your job work somewhere else.
