As a newbie to the hobby, I really appreciated the patience Eric showed toward my questions.
These guys are great. I had a terrible experience with another Model A parts supplier that had been recommended on one of the forums. I switched to "A" Ford-able in the middle of the project and I'm sooooo relieved I did. Erich provided excellent technical knowledge in parts and installation. In addition, when a part didn't work he gladly offered and provided a return label for the parts fully refunded. The other Model A guy that I had been using actually sent me the wrong parts and not only did I have to figure out they were bad, he then proceeded to charge me for sending the correction to the bad part. Again, these guys know there stuff, the sell great stuff, and they're all about customer satisfaction.
They charged me for an order and called me 2 days later to tell me that the price on one of the parts went up and I would need to pay an additional $100 if I still wanted it. This seemed very shady and dishonest. It was my first order with the company and I was already spending over $1300. I cancelled my order and will not be doing business with them again.
Doesn't update the website at all, allowing a backordered item to go through checkout tying someone else's money up for 3 days. On a backorder product. I'm out in 3 days of time for my efforts of dealing with these people and it won't ever happen again. Not so much is an apology for my inconvenience.
Great customer service. They always call and let me know if a part I’ve ordered is not in stock, giving me the opportunity to decide if I want to wait on it or not. I’ve never been asked to pay for a part while waiting on a back order. A great family owned business.
Fantastic family owned business with an inventory of Ford model T and model A parts on par with the largest warehouses of quality parts in the USA!. MIKE is a very nice hands on owner with an awesome personality!
I drove from Charleston SC. to visit the facility and pickup some larger parts. I can’t telm you how much I enjoyed visiting with Mike, his family and local customers! Mike has everything you could possibly need and it’s in-stock! Unbelievable knowledge and depth of character for the whole family. Mike has a wonderful thing going for all of us Model A folks and for his family who get to work together on a daily basis!
