🚨 Buyer Beware My Experience With Woody Folsom Auto Group and G&S Auto Sales 🚨 I’m leaving this review to share my experience so others can make informed decisions before buying. I purchased a 2019 Chevrolet 3500 6.6L Duramax from G&S Auto Sales in Jesup, which I later learned operates under the Woody Folsom Auto Group. On December 12th, less than 45 days after purchase and while the truck still had a temporary tag, my truck was towed in for a fuel system issue. From that point forward, I was never contacted proactively. Every update came only after I repeatedly called to check on my own vehicle. Without telling me, my truck was moved to the Baxley location sometime between December 12th and January 1st. I only discovered this because I kept following up myself. On January 9th, I was finally told the problem was a failed injection pump and fuel rail, with a repair estimate of 5500 to 6000 dollars. I was also told the fuel system is not covered under the powertrain warranty, which, considering how recently the truck was purchased, is extremely frustrating. After repeatedly asking for help, I was given a loaner on December 26th, which I appreciated. Then on January 23rd, I was told to return the loaner even though my truck is still unrepaired and there is no resolution in place. When I asked management if the dealership would at least help cover part of the repair given that I had just bought the truck, I was told “It’s the same as if someone blows an engine. It’s a used vehicle and after 30 days it’s not our responsibility.” For context, I traded in a clean, running Ford F250 Platinum for this truck and within weeks was left without reliable transportation and facing thousands of dollars in repairs. I’ve bought multiple vehicles from this dealer group in the past, which makes this even more disappointing. What bothers me most is not just the mechanical failure but the lack of communication, transparency, and any willingness to stand behind a vehicle sold less than two months earlier. I am not posting this to attack anyone only to share my real documented experience. Based on how this was handled across both G&S Auto Sales and the Woody Folsom Auto Group, I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying here to do thorough research and proceed with caution. Update: email sent to customer care Feb 4th, will update when I receive a reply. Update: seems as though my email was blocked, after multiple attempts and speaking with Michael on Feb 26th, who basically told me that it wasn’t his problem and I’m more than welcome to leave my review, I’ve come to the conclusion that you replied to this comment to make it look like you were willing to help, when you weren’t. Glad I didn’t get my expectations up.

They had the vehicle delivered to my house within the next couple of hours. Clean and full tank of gas. I had a very difficult situation that unfortunately involved both Chevrolet corporate and the dealership being placed in a tough position. Despite the circumstances, the team at Woody Folsom went above and beyond to make things right. Ben, Chad, and especially Jeff worked diligently, communicated clearly, and treated me with professionalism and respect throughout the entire process. Their willingness to step up and find a solution speaks volumes about their integrity and commitment to their customers. Because of their efforts, I’m back on the road in a new truck and truly grateful for how they handled everything. I had the best experience with Mr.Mike Grube. He was very patient and listened to what I wanted and needed in a truck . I was needing to buy a truck for my growing business and I didn’t want the run around with sales people . From the time I walked on the lot til the time I left , Mike was the best salesman and was not pushy like most salesmen. He never made me feel like I needed to buy something I didn’t want, never wasted my time looking at trucks that didn’t match my criteria. He listened to what I was looking for on a truck and when he found it , I drove 2 hours to look at the trucks he found and believe me it was well worth my drive ! This will be the second truck we have bought from Mike at Woody Folsom and will continue to do business with him at Woody Folsom! They stay behind their products and they will make sure you are taken care of even after the sale is done . Mrs Amy W. Is the best when we needed a loaner with our first truck that had to get work done on it ! She made that process easy and made sure we were taken care of ! This will be the first and last experience with the service department. I scheduled on the GMC app for 30,000 mile service on my Sierra. Oil change, tire rotation, inflate the tires to 45 psi, and also added an additional service for them to check my door panels where the speaker covers are because they rattle constantly. The appointment was scheduled at 9am. I got a call at 8:56am from Mike the service manager telling me my truck was ready. I asked him if they fixed the door panels and he told me no that all they had me down for was 30,000 mile service and inflate the tires to 45 psi. I told him when I booked the appointment I requested that under additional services. He very obviously was annoyed and said he didn't know if he could get the truck back in for service. I told him I could send him a video of what the truck was doing to make it easier, he interjected and said to let him check and see if he could get the truck back in and then hung up on me. I never received a call back. I went the next morning to see what the status was and the cashier had my paperwork to check me out. I asked her if they looked at my door panels and told her the situation. She then informed me Mike was the service manager. He came in and told me I'd have to come back that he couldn't get the truck back in service. I'm not sure how the service manager can't put a vehicle in the service department but whatever. I got in my truck to leave and they didn't even inflate my tires to the psi that I requested, even though it says they did on the invoice. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even change the oil or rotate the tires. I guess the whole situation is on me considering there have been multiple reviews in the last several months talking about how Mike was rude and didn't follow up on things. If you're going to get mad because you can't or choose not to read and then don't do 2 of the 4 services I requested and paid $130 for, then you shouldn't be in customer service. Previous responses to reviews said issues with the service department would be addressed but they certainly have not been. If you get paid to do a job, then do it. It's really that simple.

Upgraded our heavy duty gas truck to our very first diesel work truck 2023 Sierra 2500 6.6L. It was used & transmission went out within 24hours of purchasing, but was covered under warranty. So far it has been an excellent truck! Thankful for the service guys, my salesman Ramiro, & hope to keep doing future business in the future. *John 3:16*

From the time we (my mom and I) walked onto the lot till the time we left, Jeff Woodard was our #1 guy! Given this was our first time ever at Woody Folsom the entire day was a dream! Jeff was at our service and making sure we got everything we wanted and then some out of our experience. He was very patient with our requests and never once pushed anything on us. He worked diligently to get us the bottom-line figure we could all agree on! We even got the chance to speak to Mr. Woody himself and let me be the first to say he was as down to earth and straight forward as we were. No beating around the bush, no pushiness, no fluffing, just straight to the point and honest! My mom and I both left smiling and extremely happy with our purchases!! Yes, that's right! We both purchased 2026 Yukon and Yukon XL Denali's! As far as we are concerned, we will NEVER shop anywhere but Woody Folsom!!! I promise you will NOT be disappointed! Worst Service Experience – Wood Folsom Chevrolet My truck was taken to Wood Folsom and kept for over a month, yet the repairs were never completed. Throughout this entire process, communication was nonexistent and unprofessional. My service advisor, Michael, was a bully in his tone and never returned my calls, despite repeated attempts to reach him. I then escalated the issue to the Service Manager, Mike, who also failed to return calls. When I finally spoke with him on 12/31/25, I explained that my truck was still making a horrible noise. He stated he would call me on 1/02/26 so I could pick the truck back up. That call never came, and I have heard nothing since. To make matters worse, I was charged significantly more than what I was originally quoted, with no explanation or approval. While my truck was held at the dealership, I was forced to contact the Finance Manager, who had to reach out to the service department on my behalf. I also had to escalate the issue to the General Manager, yet nothing changed. I called every single day, only to be placed on long holds while listening to recordings claiming how great the service department is. That message is completely misleading. In reality, the Service Manager admitted they have only three technicians for approximately 500 vehicles, which explains the delays—but does not excuse the lack of communication, accountability, or professionalism. This has been, without question, the worst dealership service experience I have ever had. Poor communication, unreturned calls, incomplete repairs, overcharging, and complete disregard for the customer. I do not recommend Wood Folsom GMC/ Chevrolet’s service department to anyone.

At the dealership everyone was friendly, but I was not allowed to test drive my truck because it was blocked by other trucks. I purchased it in Baxley and the salesman (Ryan) said they would deliver it to me in Valdosta on a Rollback and he would be with them to get everything activated in the truck. He also stated he would call me the next business day to set everything up. None of these things happened. Someone from the Woody Folsom dealership drove it to Valdosta, so I didn’t even get to drive it until it had over 100 miles on it. It clearly was never detailed and missing at least a quarter tank of gas. I noticed some damages, such as scratches and cuts throughout the interior and dash. The delivery driver walked around the truck with me as I took pictures of the damages. They contacted the salesman to let him know I was not happy with what I found. He assured me all the damages I found would be fixed and said it would probably be next week when they could take care of it or hire a local company to fix everything. It has been weeks now. I sent text messages, emails, and even used the “Contact Us” on the Woody Folsom homepage. I didn’t get a response from the dealership’s homepage. Ryan confirmed on the texts and emails that they will take care of everything and he would call me back to set it up. At this point I feel like a bill collector trying to get in touch with the salesman to honor the repair agreement. My overall experience with the dealership would be everyone is friendly when you are buying a vehicle from them, but the service after the sell is terrible.

I have never bought a vehicle like this best experience I’ve ever had . I have bought almost 15 vehicles through out the years. My salesman Jeffrey Lammons made this experience relaxing no pressure no hidden agenda no surprises actually I was extremely pleased after leaving the financial department. Cudos Woody you are doing a great job with this dealership. I will definitely start here before I consider another dealership ever again . Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and extremely helpful. I drove over 4 hours to get to this dealership and would not hesitate to do it again or to recommend it to a friend.

Purchased a new 2024 Yukon XL in October 2024. We have had nothing but trouble with the radio since. They have checked the radio 8-10 times since the purchase. They have updated the radio, replaced an amp, & have kept it for several days a couple of times. The last time, I was told that it needed a specific update for the '24-'25 Yukon's. However, it hasn't been written yet! I would like to mention the lady there that arranged for my rental and for a home pickup once, was excellent.

From the internet sales personnel to the people that delivered my car, everyone had top tier customer service. The sales representative, Marc, listened to want I wanted. My only suggestion is, Marc, should have left a business card or two in the truck. I appreciate that team for making this an enjoyable experience.

Bought a brand new 2025 GMC 3500. Dealership has had it months. Lied to by service manager Mike. No dealer support even though we have a lifetime power train warranty. They rather block me and delete peoples comments about it than take accountability or apologize and show support. Paint chipping off and we were told we should have bought a paint package lol it’s NEW. What a joke. Look at Ann Anise Young’s Facebook page for full break down. Unacceptable treatment from a loyal customer who has bought all our trucks here. No buy back. Won’t even give us what we owe so we can trade it. Can’t lemon law it because the service dept would never process it in for the three strikes needed for my lawyers. It’s just been one thing after another. Service manager told me he would reset the computer and do all he could to fix it. He never touched the truck. I have proof of all information I post and conversations with dates and time. Keep blocking me and not helping us. We appreciate that amazing customer support! ALSO, several managers said they are scared to help us at all because they don’t want to face backlash and repercussions from GM. Managers wouldn’t call me back. No one would give me updates. Now Mike told me to bring it back to him one hour after it was dropped off this morning so he could reset the computer! WHAT?! He had it months and claimed he already did. Lies. Just lies and giving us the go around. Instead, y'all blocked me and turned off comments from all the backlash. I showed months of patience and months of begging for help and support. An apology and accountability would be go along way. Can’t even get that. Thanks

I wanted a specific vehicle which was the 2025 Traverse RS Black on black, which was so hard to find. We had looked everywhere. Richard happened to have one coming in. I was able to put my deposit down and had my black beauty within about two weeks. Everything was so easy. The dealership is about two hours from me so it was delivered straight to me and everything done via email. I never had a car experience as good as this one!! As long as you’re 300 miles distance, they can bring it to you. I highly recommend this dealership. I will return in the future for my next midlife crisis purchase. I bought a brand new GMC from Brandon Moody of Woody Folsom yesterday. It was bitter/ sweet trading in my Impala as it was the last car my late husband bought for me. Brandon made the experience very peaceful. He explained everything to me about the car in great detail.
