A short drive off the beaten path and down a gravel driveway, my girlfriends and I had the most lovely day exploring Sheffield Antiques! Mr. David Sheffield's shop is filled with an array of splendid European pieces that bring both beauty and inspiration to homes across the world. Personally, I have never been a fan of any big box store, mass produced decor. David's shop is filled with treasures that bring character, warmth and depth to a home. It is obvious his carefully curated choices are made with the intention to bring a one of a kind personal touch for his customers. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting with David and appreciate his knowledge of each item in the shop. It was an experience that will keep us coming back every time we are passing through!
Elements of the home have a story. I found just the tale that I was looking for at Sheffield antiques. The treasure hunt to find a unique piece with richness and warmth of old world history revealed itself in this place that is tucked away and provides adventure in and of itself. .

One of a kind pieces that add layers of warmth and detail to a space. I lean toward the carved gilded pieces that tell stories of a long lived life of a disappearing craftsmanship. David Sheffield has an eye for authentic one of a kind antiues and the commitment to buy them for us thrilled customers!
I am so fortunate to have been introduced to Sheffield Antiques. His inventory of beautiful and unique pieces is amazing and extensive. Shopping online can be difficult but David took videos of his entire shop, worked tirelessly to show me potential fragments, and has a true passion for what he sells. If you love antiques, this website is a must to follow. Here is a photo of the two Harvest Festival fragments I purchased from Sheffield Antiques and they are exquisite.

(definitely visit when on 30A) or wait until Spring 2024 Show!
David is a joy to see each time we visit his beautiful space! It is really the highlight of my week! He will often have music and candles and let’s you shop at your own pace, if you want to learn, he has so much to share but if you want to quickly browse, he will leave you be! While my collection is small, I have 100% confidence in every purchase I’ve made and each piece brings joy! We are fortunate to have access to the caliber of European antiques offered.
Great shop! David really has an eye for interesting and unique pieces. He travels to Europe and hand selects his merchandise. Worth a trip to see what he’s found on his latest trip. Make sure to call in case he’s on a buying trip finding more treasures!
