Buck’s had excellent service on our 1992 Geo Prizm. They were very friendly. They diagnosed our problem, replaced the hoses, flushed the system, and added antifreeze. Our car runs great!

As always, Buck's is honest, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have moved 30 minutes away but always come back because I know I can trust them.
We had the engine light come on while driving, drove right there they checked it was the thermostat, didn't know if they had one but left the car. They called us a few hours later and said it was all fixed, thank heaven since I had three appointments the very next day.
Nine months into moving down here, my water pump decided to fail spectacularly - 15 miles from home on a Friday afternoon. I didn't know who to call so I consulted with Siri. For obvious reasons, Buck's caught my eye (absolutely no relation).
Here's what Buck's Master Car Care did that earned my business permanently:
First, they actually listened. Not the "we're listening while calculating your bill" kind - genuine attention to the urgency of my situation. They understood I needed solutions, not sympathy.
Second, they moved fast without cutting corners. Professional diagnostics, clear explanation of the issue, and a realistic timeline that actually exceeded my expectations.
Third - and this matters - they charged fairly. Water pump failure isn't cheap, but Buck's didn't see someone in distress as an opportunity. The bill was exactly what the work was worth, nothing more.
I've been around long enough to recognize when people operate with integrity. The team at Buck's does. They turned what could have been a nightmare into a manageable situation handled by professionals who genuinely give a damn.
We all need "our guys" for car care. Buck's is now mine. They've earned it.
Bottom line: In a world of transactional service, Buck's delivers relationship-based care. That's not marketing speak - that's what happened when I needed it most.
They did a great job, especially having it done two days before they said it would be done. There were 3 major issues for which they obtained the parts much quicker than expected!!
On 9/8 I brought one of my tires into have it repaired because I caught a flat the night before. It was determined that the Hole was too big to repair. It took until me driving to the store on 9/9 to hear this and the recommendation to replace the tire, which I would agree with. This is where the issues come it. I was told I could not replace just one tire because of the SUV being AWD. This was not true according to Toyota Technical Center (TTC) in Michigan, they contend it would be optional to replace all tires when one tire has to be replace if the tread exceed 3/32" nad that tire mease and average of 0.14 " measure by me and another shop that replaced the tire. They went on th esay that recommedation is a guidelline. When the other shop disnouunted the tire it was revealed that the hole was oblong 3.75 mm x 2.5 mm. They said they could patch internally but recommend a replacement tire, which I opted for. I point this out because I had a simliar incident in 2/25/2021 in which a large chunk of metal blew through my side wall and you eplaced the tire which were the original tires tires with a Odometer reading of 58604 miles. I question why the change and why it took a full day to deliver that news when I picked up the Tire at 8:35 AM and was repaired by 10:07 AM.
I think you can see why I would not post this on Google as it Smacks of Upsell not a practice you want in todays ecominc environment. This was the diffeence between $941 and $241 for a n SUV with 137805 miles.
According to the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA)
Puncture size – The hole is 1/4 inch (6mm) or smaller in diameter.
Location – The puncture is in the tread area only, not on or near the sidewall or shoulder.
Number of punctures – There are no overlapping or closely spaced punctures (repairs should be at least 16 inches apart).
Condition of tire – The tire has no significant damage such as cuts, bulges, or exposed cords.
No run-flat damage – The tire hasn’t been driven for a long distance while flat (which can cause hidden internal damage).
Friendly personnel. The job was done quickly. I was given some information about the maintenance on my car, that I appreciated.
I felt good about the visit felt I was fairly treated and was not taking advantage of which is the case sometimes with women taking vehicles to garages
$100 for a diagnostic. Mechanic didn't even talk to me about the diagnostic. Just handed me a piece of paper and said it's probably not worth fixing. The problem was the alternator. The alternator.
Buck's is the goat of auto repair shops. Excellent service and excellent work. Just take my advise and give these guys a try, you wont be disappointed.
Recently moved to the area and chose this shop based on strong reviews. There’s a reason why they’re rated highly. They are honest and genuinely want to help you without any pressured sales or unnecessary services. Just good ol’ fashioned great service with their customers in mind. Definitely recommend them!
Love this place and have been taking my cars here whenever I can for all mechanical issues for years. They’re honest and dependable. They’ve even fixed other centers mistakes when I had to go elsewhere. I can’t praise them enough for everything they’ve done for me and my mother, who also depends on them for any car related issues. I had my truck towed here because it shut off out of nowhere. They called me back a few days later stating that it needs a new motor. Quote was 12k ish. I didn’t think that was possible it needed a new motor. I brought it back home and had a second opinion. He plugged his machine up to it and all it needed was a couple sensors and new belt. 1400$ and the truck runs perfect. I don’t think they even looked into my truck at bucks. Sad, I almost paid 12k for new motor and didn’t even need one.
This is our first time using these guys, and I’ve never been so impressed by a mechanic. Though they were unable to help since what was wrong needed fixing by a dealer due to an active recall, they went above and beyond to give us everything we needed to make it easy. They were kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. We will definitely be back next time we need service.
1st.review ever. Truck needed power steering lines and cooler replaced. quoted $1,600 what?
Had my son (Auto technician & engineer) from Ma. call to verify work needed. Was given lame reason for the price. Definitely was grossly trying to take advantage of a 70 yr old man.
Another shop is doing it for $770.00. That's $830.00 less.
Just shameful.. He also charged me 75.00 to diagnose. so sad...
There is no excuse, the stress you caused my husband having to find a ride, buy more fluid to pickup truck and drive to another auto shop while loosing power steering twice is why I wrote my 1st review.
There isn't any excuse to justify your price. NONE! Do better, treat people farely even if they know nothing about automobiles.
Warning, bad experience here. I am fair but these guys don't care enough about their customers or business. I brought my vehicle in, and left with it shaking violently on the highway. They worked on the tires and my take was they didn't properly balance them. I brought it back and they immediately said it wasn't their fault and wanted to charge $60 to balance them so I left and will never return. There's more, but I 'm done with it and just won't do business with people that would rather lose customers and get bad reviews instead of just fixing something they obviously caused. I will be contacting Good Year even though they are just a franchise but they still carry the name.
Brandon is great. They were on time and the tech was fantastic. I would recommend Buck's to everyone. They were about 10 minutes behind but they were short staffed and they still got me done in an hour. I have gone back and will go back again
Drove in with my car 1st time ever
Brandon Bucks took care of us. explain the problem with the car was able to say to me. This is what I think it is the type of test he was going to do and then we asked if there was someplace close to go for coffee so there wasn’t .
Gave us a loaner car so we can go get some breakfast+ I thought this repair was going to be $150 or more just for the test and it was less than a third !!!!$36 to be exact) ++
This place is A1 with a five star rating for care concern and customer communication. I would take any vehicle that I own to him without any question and have him do my repairs. It’s too bad there are not more businesses that take pride, morals and high standard of ethics and dealing with customers Like Bucks Master Care Care !!!!!!
I cannot say enough good things about the folks over at Buck's. We started having issues with our work truck, a fully loaded down E350 box truck. It's not a small truck nor was it easy to figure out what was going on with it. Despite the hassle our truck gave them, Marty and Brandon worked tirelessly to get us back up and running. They understand the plight of being a small business. Their communication was great and although it took quite some time to get the issues ironed out the price was very fair. Our service truck is our life blood and she's running better than ever! Thank you guys so much!
I am very very happy and impressed by these guys that did a full brake job and new wrangler tires on my 2010 Dodge Ram. It was a great pleasure doing business with Brandon and Joe at the front desk. With a tire steadily losing pressure, I pulled into Buck’s to see if they could help (I had already stopped by 4 chain tire businesses). They immediately checked out my tire, told me I had a tear in my sidewall, and put my spare on. They would not accept any money. They were fast and courteous and I appreciate them so much.
Buck definitely has impressed me with his car service, time, and prices. I’ll defiantly be coming back here for any and all my car needs. These are beautiful tires at better prices than I could find anywhere else, and I checked 5 places. Buck himself even filled out the tire rebate for me. He couldn’t have made it easier!
