They towed a scooter from a traffic stop. Less than ten minutes away. It took 3 days for me to make it there to pick up. I was expecting to pay no more that $200. When I got there they told me the cost to pick up the scooter was $729.00!!!!!! I had to leave it there! Now I don't even have a scooter!!!!! These people took advantage of me. Totally no remorse whatsoever. They should be ashamed. 30 minutes of work for $730.00!! Unreal.
I watched the owner take $100 from friend of mine for a bike. He then sold it to another friend and never returned the money to the first friend. Even worse is that the first friend had a tow bill there but the lady in the office wouldn't credit him the $100. Extremely unethical company.
They like to strong arm little girls into paying bill by saying they will put lien on her driver's license then I'm driving down highway and they was wanting me to pay right then no regards to my safety or the safety of drivers around me they sent me a link to pay but wants to keep charging me because they close at 5 at 445 while on highway for one I was planning on paying anyways no need to pull scare tactics on my daughter I have used them in the past after this I will not be using them again

For any of your towing needs be sure to call prompt towing. I reached out to talon to get my jeep towed to my mechanics shop and was told to find someone else to tow it. Talon was very unprofessional as they began to bad mouth the shop I wanted my vehicle taken to, he stated he would go to prison if he towed my jeep due to a personal issue he has with the shop owner who works on my vehicles. I guess acting like a tough guy is his priority over running a business. Reached out to prompt towing and they said they would arrive within 30 minutes.
Gran Paradiso towed my car from visitor parking lot without warning or notice. Talon Towing was doing their job. They treated me decent and with respect which I appreciated. Thank you Talon for not being an ass and being patient with me when I was upset. Respect.
This business is an absolute nightmare! The customer service is not just bad; it's downright horrific. When I called to check if my vehicle was still there, I was met with rudeness and disdain. All they kept telling me was, "I don't know, call your insurance." Instead of assisting me, the representative actually hung up on me! I was left feeling completely disregarded and furious. It’s shocking how poorly they treat customers. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place!
My car got a flat tire and I had already setup a tow truck to come pick it up. Somehow Talon ended up picking my car up and MY tow company was told to turn back. (I think this was FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROLS fault. The officer said he would make a note. Otherwise I would have gone back to the car). I called as soon as the hurricane had passed to pick up my car and he said he wouldn't even talk to me till Monday and that "the power was out". Then as I go to pick the car up they try to charge me $700 because of the days I was FORCED to leave my car there. After begging he finally dropped it to $475 that I should have never had to pay thanks to FHP and TALON. This is a shakedown and a scam. This is going to authoritites, the news, we don't need more people screwing over the people.
Worst customer service experience. I was in an accident and my car was taken to this location. We arrived after closing hours, and the police told us to collect our belongings from the vehicle. Upon arrival, a man with a confrontational attitude asked us to leave the premises without letting us explain the situation. We explained that we needed to collect our belongings from the car that had just been brought there, and he said, 'Okay, but I need $50 to do that.' Due to the urgency, I had to pay this SCAM 'fee'. People like him shouldn't be working with customers.

Great experience! I called three other tow places with a request to tow my camp trailer after breaking down on the highway and they all said they couldn't do it and to call Talon. The spotty reviews made me hesitant, but I'm glad I did!
Zack had a great attitude and handled a strange tow job very well. He drove it 80 miles back to my house and helped with an unconventional unloading situation. It cost more than I thought it would, but they were the only ones in town that could do that job and offered swift assistance. 5 stars!

My 16 year old son was in his first accident this morning 4/2/24 the driver was extremely rude. Me son went to have his car released from their yard in north port so it could be picked up by another company to transported home. Drivers came out of the office using homophobic slurs toward my son. When my son said he didn't appreciate the language he continued to use it getting loud asking why it offended him so much. I am absolute sick at the amount of professionalism this company uses! When I called their office I simply asked for a manager or owner to reach out to me as soon as possible. Their response was " Pretty Demanding huh" this is who the city of North port uses for all of their towing needs!
I honestly wish I could give this place no stars with jail time and am currently trying to pursue this.
I was forced into a tow because of the Northport police at the scene and just to know I didn't cause this accident I was rear-ended with NO! front end damage
Upon their arrival they began to walk around like they own the place and talk to me with such disdain and disrespect that truly I was appalled I actually had to put my hand up in the guy's face and walk away and go and talk to the police officer the man began to act like a child crying whining in instigating me trying to pretend like that's how I was acting completely unprofessional and disrespectful
I begrudgingly accepted the tow and took most of my items out of the vehicle but left a good amount of my tools and some money and my truck key
I also spoke with them about getting the truck towed to my residence of which they said would be $1,100 for everything I believe he thought this number would scare me away but I built this engine it's a performance engine I wanted it so I hung up the phone called my friends got enough money to pay for the tow called him back went to pay miraculously the bill went up $650!! This happened the moment they realized the insurance company was not going to pay them.
I asked for an itemized Bill an invoice called multiple times I cannot get a receipt from these people other than a bill that just says the amount I paid them.
They also charged my friend's credit card three times in an attempt to shut down his credit card so I couldn't get the truck in the first place. Luckily my friend had more than enough money but the attempt was made.
Upon receiving my truck there are no tools, no money, no key, and they ripped my hood off my truck which was not damaged at all a custom carbon fiber hood worth over $1600
Then in an attempt to get my key they said they would send it to me they sent me an empty envelope and as you might imagine I called and attempted to get answers and when I did a man picked up the phone and it began to fake cry wine tell me I do not know how to listen and act like an imbecile once again not sure if this is the same guy but they more than likely our friends to say the least
And I also believe they ran my engine I disconnected my distributor at the crash scene and when my truck arrived the distributor was reconnected there would be no reason for this and I disconnected it intentionally to avoid someone starting it.
How the Northport Police department is okay working with these people is beyond me these people are not out to help you they are there to steal your money into milk you for everything you are worth and if not you your insurance company there is not one employee in this company that I have spoken to that has an ounce or morsel of self-respect or respect for you if I ever get into an accident in North Port again before I call the ambulance I will call a towing company I will chain myself to my vehicle and wait until an appropriate towing company arrives and will never allow these people to put hands on my property again
To sum it up these people have no self-respect no respect for you or your property they will not help you they will only take from and use you
the nicest person at this company is the automated voice message machine you will likely not get this person as they thoroughly enjoy berating you and belittling you and acting like bullies
It's really not right that they take advantage of people in vulnerable situations to the extent that they do I understand the world's not fair but this is truly madness...

Hi everyone, so on January 11, 2024 I was assisted by Northport Police Department and towing my heavy vehicle which is a dump truck unloaded about 50 to 60 feet over to the side so that I can get roadside assistance or get my issue addressed during that process, Talon tow came out and told my truck that’s fine. Didn’t use a wrecker just a regular tow truck for small vehicles, he got on the phone spoke to his supervisor or owner. Robert was there today and said to me that they reserve the right to charge what they want if they’re called out by Northport police and said that if I would’ve called him would’ve been a lot cheaper directly. Seems a little far-fetched me because I used to work for the county for 19 years and all they do is bid for a contract. Northport doesn’t get any money from that contract That are in that but they do with reserve the right that if they call onto Talon that they have to drop whatever they doing and send someone out there to support their services to me seems a little suspicious because I got charge almost 400 bucks it’s on my vehicle about 60 feet forward to get worked on and it got worked on and I got my issue taken care of but the gentleman didn’t say to me that day About what happened at about to call them directly out of Ventura and if the county calls me to get called for county prices which is not a thing the county doesn’t charge you anything the business does so I feel like that was a cheap shot by them and they were just taking a vantage of me I’m not sure if I would deal with them personally anymore I tried calling him to ask for a price listing or starting price listing for what do you typically would charge to get called out and the gentleman was rude didn’t wanna provide me a price listing or anything of that matter approve would appreciate if someone did speak on this and take care of this right away.
Do not call this company!!! Rude and very unprofessional. I had called to have a truck towed out of my driveway Thursday evening and he told me to call back Friday when I got home and they would come and tow it away. So I called at 6:45pm when I got home Friday evening , like he asked me to and I was asked if I was going to be home Saturday? I said no I have to work, he then proceeded to ask “do you not get off sometime during the day? I like to do this in the daylight.” I told him Sundays and asked him why Anyways he was questioning me about my hours of employment - he said “ I don’t need your truck anyways you can call somebody else” and hung up on me!!! Let me tell you Mister tow truck driver, you may get to choose your hours of work but most of us working people don’t have that pleasure. I will never recommend your company to anyone.
Scott was awesome... got to us fast, figure out how to lift our Sprinter van to not damage it and got our family off I-75 and to a much safer place. Can't thank him enough for all Talon did for us that night.
It was absolutely awful!! My 86 year old dad and I were rear ended by a wreckless driver on our way to our vacation spot in North Fort Myers and the car was totalled and towed by the police to Talon. It was nothing but a nightmare from that point forward. We ended up transported by ambulance to the hospital without any of our meds or belongings. Beat up and bruised and in pain but we did not require hospitalization and were discharged. We were assured by police that we would be able to get our meds and breathing machines that night. We called the tow yard but they refused to let us into the tow yard saying we would need to wait till Monday to gather our things. My dad has life sustaining medication and we both have our breathing machines which are vital to our health yet they did not respond and simply said no. I pleaded with the nurses at the hospital who then called the towing company who agreed to meet with me Sunday morning after 9:00 a.m but I needed to bring $50 cash to get in the gate.we didn't sleep because of the lack of meds and our breathing machines. Sunday I wasn't able to secure a rental but called all morning to the tow yard with no answer. I was able to get a ride one way from a friend who was passing through at 10 and arrived at the tow yard for 11. Empty and still no one answering the phons was left there with nothing and had to call the state police because we NEEDED our meds and machines. They were able to contact Talon who assured me they would be there for 1pm saying I missed my 9am appointment so I'd have to wait. I explained I was never told I had a 9am appointment but was told to call after 9 and no one was answering. I waited outside the gate laying on the pavement in the heat physically in pain and bruised from the accident till 1. Then 1:30 still no one came. I called the number again... He answered. I asked if he was coming. His response was "I'll get there when I get there you missed your 9am and I'm at church so I'll be there when I can". I asked when he thought that might be his response "I don't know at least another 45 minutes. I cried. Layed there in the sun and waited. I was at his mercy. My dad needed his meds. We needed our meds and machines. I had no clean clothes. 2:40 he arrived he was intimidating tall and strong looking and visibly angry. I struggled to get up. No sympathy. I was clearly ruining his day. Just a "come on you got the money in cash" and he ushered me into the office took the cash made me sign papers and pointed at my car. I was in agony crying not only from pain but the shock of seeing my mangled car and he simply said "get what you need quick". My bags were wedged between the back of the car and the seats where we were impacted. I had to pry them out. My ribs were on fire and my head pounding and my body barely able to maneuver to get the bags out he rushed me saying to take only what I needed NOW and to come back tomorrow when they were open during normal hours to get the rest. I explained that this WAS what I needed. He offered no help just angry words and a rushed attitude. I was able to struggle to get my bag and my dad's bag and our meds and stacked them out of the car. He told me to make sure I put the plastic back on so it didn't get rained on. And walked towards the gate. The tow yard is sand. I struggled to drag my things to the gate... No ride home yet. My phone battery at 8% and I needed to call for a ride. He simply waited for me to drag my things out past the gate entrance onto the pavement where I'd waited for him and locked the gate and left. No words just clearly relieved I was done. I never felt so un-important in my life. Thankfully I was able to request a Lyft from there home before my battery died but had to wait 45 minutes for it as I again sat with my things outside the gate. A little compassion would have gone a long way but there was none and I was made to feel like my needing to get medicines was a massive burden to him. He had no kindness despite what I'd just been through.
Had a large item delivered, and needed help getting it off the tractor trailer. Greg was the best. He handled everything without an issue!

Car was impounded due to an accident, and did everything legally possible to make it complicated to get it out and to jack up the fees, place a lien, and keep & resell it!!
They love down-talking and scolding you!! She told me I couldn't use my trailer because "I wasn't going to pay $26,000 for their driveway if I were to scratch their asphalt"!
I called Damas Towing to get it out, a friendly local tow company that I highly recommend, and they also treated him with the same disregard and hatred!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

I just called to get a price for the hook then mileage on a 81 mile tow. The guy that answered the phone was rude on 4/7/2023 at 7:45 pm gave the make & model of the vehicle and the number of miles. He said "depends on what ya got going on" I said "it's broken down, goes in neutral and rolls. How much for a tow 81 miles? I'm trying to get a price." He said " if nobody else shows, call back" then hung up the phone.

Our starter died on our Jeep Wrangler. We were left stranded. First we called Triple A, being a member. They responded quickly. The towing company Triple A was sending wouldn’t be able to get to us for 4 hours, due to the aftermath of hurricane Ian. They were that busy. That particular towing company recommended Talon Towing. My husband called Talon Towing. They were able to get to us within a half hour. They arrived with a flatbed. Mike was friendly and professional. He knew exactly what to do. We hitched a ride with Mike in the flatbed to our home. He’s a very safe driver. It was nice to know we were in good hands. We would definitely recommend Talon Towing.

Was in Florida for thanksgiving and making my way out of Florida I got hungry, got so happy to find something to eat within my budget hope right out the truck and realized I just locked myself out. I google a heavy wrecking company within the area and Talon popped up. Granted the lock out fee cleared me out but what can I say sometimes it happens
