Don't bother with this place one experience was enough for me. I had a window AC unit, an aluminum bike frame, a TV, a weed eater, clean aluminum fencing and a car battery, I was told it was all at steel price and they wouldn't take the TV. When asked why they don't offer mixed prices for things that aren't completely stripped down they said they just don't. Additionally their website stated they do take batteries and mixed aluminum. I'm not sure why they didn't offer a different price than steel for the AC unit? Either way unless it's clean and perfect don't bother.
Update on my good review from last time... Received terrible treatment from overweight bully on forklift. I was spoken to as if I were his step child. Apparently he feels like some kind of authority figure. Not recommending this place.
Top paying metal scrap in South West Florida, see receipt for one AC condenser unit I scrapped, making sure aluminum, copper and sheet metal are all separated and clean to go on the scale. Staff is friendly and the yard is clean with clear signs & directions.
Has to be one of the cleanest scrapyarpkpred I've visited and I've been to many all over florida. They are helpful, polite and the best prices around by far. Another plus they are open until noon on Saturday.
Please DO NOT drop scrap at All Scrap in Nokomis - consider going somewhere, like - Suncoast Metals LLC. All Scrap metal company operates in Fort Myers as well as Nokomis FL. I live in Nokomis and the GM and the Owners are irresponsible. I live in the residential community where this "Scrap yard" is located and they do not respect our neighborhood, allowing all types of metal scrap and trash to litter our main through fare street where 100's of single family homes are located. My family has personally had to have 20 tires replaced since this "business" started illegally operating in our neighborhood. Please DO NOT bring your scrap to this yard. There are other local choices - example Suncoast Metals LLC.
When they were on James St. in Venice, it was a smooth, transparent operation. Easy. communication with the employees. Now that they have moved (or were sold) to the Nokomis location, the whole experience is TERRIBLE!! I had several types of metal. Everyone has to drive up on a scale. I waited for a while and a guy came out and I asked why I was on the scale. He couldn’t answer because he didn’t speak English. It took a second guy to answer but he kept talking away from me so I couldn’t hear him. Eventually, we got the metals sorted and weighed. Then I went to a payment window and it was so tinted that I could see nothing. Very strange. I asked to speak with the manager. The voice said, “I’m the manager.” I asked for him to come out where I could see him. He did appear and had a bullying attitude. ABSOLUTELY NOT CUSTOMER-ORIENTED. That was the most hostile reception from ANY business I’ve ever experienced. Stay away if you want decent treatment. The visually-blocked pay window was an accurate red flag about this company.
All in all, this is a good place to get cash for scrap, especially if you are in the Venice/Nicomis area. They accept almost all types of metal, and give you a fair price for it. The place is well organized, and it's fairly easy to get in and out from a logistical perspective.
However, the reason why I'm not giving it five stars is because the people that work there were not friendly towards me.
No Where else i'd rather go. Reliable and knowledgeable, and honest, true examples integrity.
Not only did I forget my wallet there once, I also forgot my cell phone and my woman once. All three were returned unharmed. Thank you boys!
Seriously though the crew at All Scrap are.serious about business. They don't bring headaches cuz they don't like headache. They just like metal. Copper prices Now one of the best in town. So speaking of headaches if you're tired of the migraine of downtown Sarasota, or any place South,... All Scrap is where you want to be.
I recently visited All Scrap Venice Yard, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Ashley at the window was incredibly nice and helpful. If you have scrap you want to get rid of, Venice Scrap Metal is the place to go. The guys get you in and outta there fast. Great customer service and friendly staff.
Always a great experience all the guys are super helpful great sense of humor and easy to get in and out. Very fair on prices that's why I keep coming back. I definitely recommend this place.

He also takes the time to teach his younger staff “what things are and how to identify them” my first time here but from what I see this guy has a great work ethic and that goes a LONG way especially in these days! First time there since new owners, I was impressed one of the guys helped me empty all 400lbs of cans that where bagged. I definitely will refer my friends especially now since the new owners are not con artist like the old owners!!!
Good place, great people! Like night and day from what it use to be. The difference is Dave, always hustling always smiling. The guys got personality to spare, should have been a game show host!
This place is under New Management recently and it has really changed. If you've had a bad experience here in the past, I urge you to give them another try. Bill helped me out sorting through my medals. He took his time and helped me sort them properly and was very nice to me and I enjoyed chatting with him. Dave is the new manager and I can't say enough about how awesome he is. He is one of the hardest working guys I've ever met and he's really doing his best to make this place efficient and productive. If you've got some metal to scrap this is the place to go!
