Bought a used transmission from 'JESSICA', drove 60 miles each way to pick it up and it was defective. We are a shop and this company has a delivery service but refused to pick up the defect. So we drove it back, 120 mile roundtrip, even though they deliver to my town! Was told we would get a return call from JESSICA, but that also proved untrue. We invest 10 hours of shop labor to install and then remove this defective part, (plus fluid!) and this company could not even be professional enough to retrieve their defect and help us out. Terrible customer service, will never go to them again and will advise others to avoid this place. This episode cost my company approx $1000 in lost labor, payroll, tolls, gas, fluids, etc...

This place does a great job at helping a customer. The girl behind the desk did a great job at getting the parts I needed. Thanks to her, my car is running better.

I would leave a great review here but not after the situation that just occurred with this place. I bought a transmission from here put it in my car and it worked for two weeks. The transmission has a 45 day warranty on it for defects. I called to ask about the warranty and the guy said that the warranty is voided and there’s nothing he can do for me. if you do happen to buy anything from this location be careful because they don’t like to uphold what their legal warranty says. they will not ever get any of my business again and I will never send anybody that I know to this place.

I was referred to this place by another yard I normally use in Tampa, it was a pleasure dealing directly with Jessica who was very amiable and courteous. She answered all my questions through Facebook with photos and was very responsive. I will definitely continue calling them for my used parts needs. Thanks again James Strickland

Would, absolutely, give zero stars if it was allowed! Husband called yesterday looking for an engine; was told they just got one in for his specific vehicle; had not been touched yet. Husband goes and pays for the engine this morning (the COMPLETE engine) and is told they will contact him when it is pulled. Receives call that it is pulled; drives down to pick it up; some of the parts are missing. He is told “Sorry; people pulled parts off already” after he paid for the entire engine. He asked the guy about getting a partial refund since he did not get what he paid for; guys says “Hold on, I have to take this call” and just disappeared. Will NEVER utilize this establishment EVER again and will let EVERYONE know how horrendous it truly is.

Good prices, don't rely on them to call you back though. Also don't let the older gentleman in front help you load your parts. Just bought 200.00 worth of stuff , for this man to insist on helping load it, then scratches the paint on a hood and bumper. They have no bubble wrap or cardboard apparently. So you may like to bring that as well.good luck

Well, if I could rate this place any lower I would. First off, he chaged me over $900 to replace my transmission with a used one, which I aceepted because I needed it done and he seemed like a decent guy. He would only warrenty the work for 45 days with no exceptions to furthering or purchasing any longer of a warranty which was a redflag.fast forward to 45 days after picking up the truck the transmission starts slipping but it was after business hours so we reach out to him the very next morning. He says he would still fix it if it was an installation error or part failure but couldn't get to it until the following week. Four days later I conteact the owner of the company to verify that he will fix the issue then pay to have the vehicle shipped to him. In the as the vehicle is about to arrive at his shop he contacts me to let me know that he cannot help me because the warranty is expired. He had no consideration of the time of failure, time of notification, or the fact that his team may have done some wrong. Instead he wants to put blame something else. He doesn't care that people spend money with him and get ripped off. This business is a scam and their work doesnt last ANY longer than their warranty. I spent about $1000( not including reaccuring tow fees) to have a working vehicle for 45 days,which was magically his VERY STRICT warranty deadline.

This guy named Frank is the biggest liar . He would tell you he is not the owner of the business but he is, I have confirmed that. Went looking for a transmission for a 2001 Dodge. He had told me he had one, same year. That was a lie, come to find out it was a 98 tranny, he also stated tranny has been tested that was also a lie. Put it on Drive no gear at all. ( junk tranny ) he gives me another tranny. Telling me it was a 2000 another lie, it was a 99 come to find out and another transmission that did not work. I returned the 2 junk transmission for him to charge me a 10% stock feed . So I end up paying $50 for him to take his junk back he's nothing but a liar and a crook. I wouldn't recommend anybody or spend another dollar there.. oh yeah he also like talkin to you to death

My name is Timmy, I recently bought a jeep motor from central florida auto yard and can not be any happier. The price was awesome!!! I put the motor in my jeep and was having trouble getting it to run and the gentleman that sold me the motor helped me out everytime i called and now it runs like a champ. Really nice guy and good for his word. Thanks central florida auto yard my jeep never ran better!!!

the worst place to buy any thing at. they sell junk engines I no I BOUGHT ONE from frank at central fl. auto yard. the con man is no good his word is no good his parts sold are junk. this guy sold me a engine with well over 210k on it he said it ran out perfect that he will back this engine him self as well as his junk yard. they both are full of them self,s. the engine frank sold me never ran out right it had rusted out freeze plugs that i have in hand for inspection the engine, I replaced the oil and filter and with less the 1 hour the oil was black water was rusted color there was no way in hell that this engine was a great running engine, I have the engine at my home for any one to look at what this place sell,s. please do not buy any thing from central florida auto yard, frank the con man will screw you, trust me or come look at the proof.

Bought van from private seller. Or so i thought. After cross checking some info i found online i find "frank" owns the local junkyard. Whats frank say? Oh he sells vehicles from his "friends" car dealership. So why does the history report say "CFAU" bought the vehicle as SCRAP just a few weeks before! This thing has a list of work done to it, the major being the AIRBAG, its been disabled for some medical reason, hard to understand the 20 something work orders on the report. God i wish i could load a picture to prove it. Ps i live here in town, just 3 blocks away incase you reply
