I had great service when my car lost all power they provided a towing service for me so I didn't have worry about it. I had a great turn around within 2 days I had my car back. Thw people there were very polite.

2025... Time to update my review. I have been coming here for years now and all I can say is that I am still a happy customer. I have had several problems with my car but thankfully Victory came to the rescue. 2 big ticket items were actually still under warranty so my trip to the shop was painless. I love how they always give you things needed up front and still never push unless it is extremely necessary. Thank you for being my neighborhood auto shop that I can trust.

Always a great experience even years later. ... I am so glad to have someone I can trust to give me a fair treatment for my car. They never push other work on you after they tell you that you may need done. They explain if necessary or can wait... that's why I continue to go back and share with friends and family 2020......Great experience! 1st time here. Oil change. Atmosphere and staff great! Making appointments was easy online and clean waiting room. Oh, if you decide to wait for your car, they do offer beverages & fresh pop corn .
I've used them twice recently for my car. Once for a 100,000 mile service and tune up. Then again for some engine block problems. Both times, they were able to get me in right away and got my car fixed the same day. It's very convenient to have a competent auto repair shop in my neighborhood. My brother and I have used this repair shop for years.
On August 11, 2025 I checked my Car into Victory to have my AC fixed along with some other things that needed to be done, Car was ready on August 13, 2025. However a couple days later the Vehicle temp gauge moved to hot so I called on Monday the 18 and THey gladly took the car in, WHich I was thankful for, Half way through the day I got a Call from Eric and He told me what was wrong and took care of it for me. Thats great service. Thank you
I am in the Auto Parts Distribution supply for almost 9 years Now.... Recently... I had a my Buick 2001 need to have Service to replace an Alternator... They found an AC Delco... New at a Resonable price...And replaced it in a Better then Fast Time!@
BUT!@... There Labor Rate is $198.00 dollars an hour... Almost $200.00....
They Average Labor Rate in Pinellas County including Saint Petersburg is $70.00 to $100.00 dollars an hour to fix Your car...
Victory Automotive is Charging almost $100.00 an Hour More...
You might want to choose Another to save Hundreds of dollars....
Eric, Joe and the team were very helpful. Scheduling was efficient and we were able to get in quickly. Thorough inspection of my SUV was undertaken. They spent a lot more time than they likely wanted/needed to which I appreciated. This was a 2nd opinion situation as well and their assessment/feedback I felt was technically really good and I felt cared for with honesty. Will be bringing my business back here to this shop.
They seem like very honest and decent mechanics but DO NOT trust them with any software corrections. The receptionists doesn’t understand to explain to the mechanics who therefore doesn’t even look at the actual problem. Just a huge waste of time and waste of money.

I’m a firm believer in supporting one’s neighborhood merchants, however not all seem to appreciate it.
And this was the case with Victory Automotive, located at 3001 Dr Martin Luther King , St Pete.
Years of loyalty with several cars, I began having doubts re. an oil change in the rear differential of my car.
Another garage gave me video proof of this not having been done.
I went back to Victory, spoke to the manager Eric, (not mentioning the video), but simply confronting him re. this job not done.
Eric threatened to call the police on me if I did not leave the premises immediately!
So I did, and that was it. I never left a review before this one btw.
Long time later I call Eric re. stopping his junk mail and he hangs on me saying “I have nothing to say to you”.
From a psychological point of view, any person with this type of response has obviously something to hide!
Let’s see what “Accredited AAA” has to say...
Btw they are NOT BBB accredited, wonder why?

Actually, I only know them via the phone, yet Joel, Eric and Kelly have been so kind to me with my car issues. I highly recommend them. I have to leave my car there for towing to the dealership for almost a week- no charge...pretty cool.
This is the best garage I've come across.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.
If you check the cost of auto work online, their prices hug the lowest of the spectrum. They warranty their work.
I only wish I lived a little closer.
Joe & the team at Victory Automotive were AMAZING!! I moved my son to St Petersburg from Buffalo, NY in his 2010 Jeep Wrangler, his prize possession. Two days after we arrived it wouldn’t start. I had it towed to Victory because it is a AAA recommended shop. I know nothing about vehicles. Joe & the team worked on it the day before a long holiday weekend. My son was starting a new job soon and I was flying back home that Saturday. I was worried about leaving him without a vehicle. They diagnosed the problem, walked me through every issue, and had it back on the road that same day. I can go home with peace of mind knowing the jeep is in great shape and that we now have an excellent, dependable, honest shop to go to for any future issues. I highly recommend this shop! Thanks guys!! I truly appreciate you!!
Our car broke down close to Victory, thankfully! Extremely professional, and even though they were slammed with repairs, they communicated beautifully and treated us like we were the only customers there. Excellent work at a fair price. Highly recommend!

After a weekend without AC. My sister and I stopped at Victory and asked about service. My sister spoke with Kelly and made an appointment. Car was there and they fixed the AC and also gave an oil change to the car (especially knowing we had a road trip planned). When she picked up the car she was so pleased and happy with the service and care from Sales Advisor Kelly. Now will take the roadtrip with relief of AC and exceptional service.

This is a capable auto repair shop with smart mechanics that go the extra mile to get you back on the road. My son's older Infiniti had two major problems that could have landed it at the salvage yard. Joe and the Victory team worked the problems and put in extra effort. The team is courteous and responsive, which unfortunately has become unusual these days. Many thanks!
Victory proves again that it is my only spot in town I'd trust with our family's cars. I just purchased a 1999 Toyota and took it to Victory to give me the peace of mind I needed to hit the road. Service was FAST and pricing was very fair. Victory has my trust.
Always amazing service with this auto shop!! They were able to fix me up after an emergency yesterday and less than 24 hours later i already have my car back! I am so so appreciative of the team here and thankful i have an auto shop close by that i can trust.
Had an issue with noise under car; even tho I had no appointment Victory folks were very welcoming and worked my car in for repair. It was done same day( luckily no parts had to be ordered). Great customer service start to finish and reasonably priced too.
We LOVE Victory. It is hard to find a business with such excellent customer service these days. Everyone is kind and friendly, the lobby includes an incredibly comfortable and clean lounge and bathroom where you can relax with your kids or get work done. They offer free drinks, affordable prices, honest and strait forward assessments and get the work done in a timely fashion. They really seem to care about their customers and the quality of their work. I could not recommend more highly.
Great guys up front but terrible outcome
Took in for an oil change that was quoted at $90, a review of oil leak for $90 and review of creaking noises for $90.
Picked the car up and was told leak was because of rear seal. They knew the problem leaking and still changed the oil for $190!! Instead of just waiting to get that fixed first,
Then the creaky noise was, according to them, because of the missing skid pan.
But the mechanic never checked elsewhere.
Upon taking it to the dealer, they told us we waisted the $$$ on an oil change that would have to be re-done anyways.
The noise underneath? That was because the bushings were dry and cracked.
Victory never bothered to check
So we were charged several hundred to end up having another place do the work
So just get a true estimate, be careful of being charged for “analysis “ fees or go elsewhere for another appraisal.
Terrible shop...I do not recommend it. They really don't care about the quality of their work. Interested only in doing the least they can, not really looking out for what is in your best interest. I took it there because I had to have it towed. They did some work okay, but neglected to take responsibility when I brought it back two days later with a super loud noise..indicating a problem. If they had looked deeper it would have saved me so much grief and time, but honestly they didn't care...specifically the manager is a real piece of work. Don't go there...there are shops that actually give a darn.
I have been taking my car to Victory numerous times over the years and always with a very positive experience.
Kelly is usually the person I discuss my car issue with initially. She amazing, knowledgeable same a true asset to the business.
My repairs have always been done perfectly and in a timely manner.
Their prices are reasonable especially compared to the costs at the dealership.
I highly recommend them as I trust them and that is extremely important to me.
I usually dread getting my oil changed—or any kind of service, really. It often feels awkward, like I’m being a burden, especially at my previous service place. But after two visits to Victory Auto Service for oil changes and other work, I actually look forward to going. Kelly, Joe, and the entire team are warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. My last two visits involved some more extensive work that would’ve taken days anywhere else, but they had it done in just four hours. Now, with 100,000 miles on my car, it feels like new again. I almost can’t wait to visit them again. So, I won’t hesitate to call them when I need service next.
Victory auto is my go to! The staff is wonderful, honest, and they explain everything in detail before any work is done on your car. They have even given me a loaner car while mine was being worked on. I will continue to go to victory for all future work done on my cars, they are the best and would recommend to everyone!
Upon dropping the car off, I asked for the services of an oil change and the front rotors to be replaced. Joe, who was a nice gentleman asked What were the conditions Of the brake pads. I just had it inspected and was informed that the pads are good, but rotors are warped, so I did not need to have them look at the pads.
They never were able to get a hold of me and confirm services that needed to be done. Upon calling them five hours later Myself, I was informed Of the total and I said for them to not do any service and I will come pick up the car.
Once I arrived, I was told that I Owed $125 for the oil change and tire rotation. If I would’ve known, that was the price I would do it Myself But they never got in contact with me and continue The service without my awareness. Eric whom I was speaking with began to raise his voice in a yelling tone and demanded that I came in for the oil service and just to have them look at my pads and rotates. I said that I’m just holding you accountable to your terms of service which is mounted on a plate. I never said I wouldn’t pay just said please stop yelling at me and I’m just holding you accountable to your own terms of service. He asked me plainly if I told them to look at my pads. I calmly said no. He then throws my keys to me and yelling to never come back here again.
Trust me , I will NEVER come back here and will tell other to not come here. They say they are honest and dependable on their sign but that’s a lie. And as a fellow Christian (this is a Christian Owen company) I am disappointed how Eric behaved towards a customer who was not in the wrong.

I couldn’t ask for a better experience than what I always receive at Victory. Kelly at the front desk is not only super friendly but also very knowledgeable and explains very clearly what the techs have done with my car. They make sure I am always aware of what service my car currently needs as well as alerting me to what it may need in the upcoming months.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I strongly recommend AGAINST Victory Automotive. They charged me $3,000 to replace a fuel line that took over 2 weeks. While in their shop, a rat took up residence in my vehicle. Instead of taking responsibility for the damage done by the rat, they wanted to charge me $5,000 to repair it
