Their (normal) oil recovery guy, not that smart, so give him a break, at least he’s nice IF you know your equipment and DONT need him to think or use common sense to serve you, because if you do, he’s going to raise his voice and blame you (the customer), for instance, if you have a dual tank and your not aware, he’s NOT going to see that other inlet at the top there, even though it’s right there. He’s going to see the one and if it’s empty on that side, he’s out! Even though you’ve shown him the gauge proving there’s still waste oil present.
Company Truck was driving reckless today on highway 50 in Clermont (around 9am). Looked like he and another driver were both getting into a heated road rage. He cut off several vehicles in addition to the vehicle that he appeared to be in a feud with. Not a good look for your company! Very unprofessional, not to mention dangerous!
Drivers are reckless, force their way around the road. I have my son in the car with me, quit trying to rush into oncoming traffic because you want to make stops at corner stores!
Two stars because staff is friendly and drivers. But two stars because NOT SMALL BUSINESS FRIENDLY. I am a small business owner who is barely getting by with my overhead due to costs such as this. I am told because I am a small business and I don't have over four hundred gallons to be picked up...I have to pay them to pick it up. But If I was a larger company or corporation...THEY PAY THEM to pick it up...So the rich get richer and the Small business guy struggles to pay all these costs and that is why small business families like ours is disappearing soon they will all be gone including us
Worst experience with pick-up!
I used there competitors for the last few years and was happy with them, They always called me and wanted my business back, after agreeing on the phone they could not deliver! I called for a used oil pick-up twice - yes you on our pick up schedule - no one ever showed up. 2 weeks later after my oil tank almost over flooded I switched back to the their competitor.
Worst customer service ever! Just like others have mentioned, this company has very unprofessional rude drivers. Driver declined to get my oil because he claimed there was not enough space to get his truck in. Obviously there wasn't with all the cars I had parked , all I had to do was move them but he was rude and impatient. Bigger trucks than the one he's in have been able to go into my lot without a problem. Left me with a full tank of oil and I'm a very busy shop, now I have to wait for another company to come and get it and now I have no place to store oil .
I have been in business for over 17 yrs and Howco has serviced my company in the past. After deciding to use them again I had to wait 2 weeks for them to come and pick up my waste oil. With out scheduling me a time or date the truck showed up and couldn't wait for us to pull out cars so he can get in and I had to wait another week (that's 3 weeks total). When they arrived (1 week later) the same driver ARROGANTLY decided that he couldn't drive his truck in and that his hose wasn't long enough. ( We have had longer trucks and even 45ft RV's that we repair back there)The driver then proceeded to ask me why did i come back to Howco and I should go back to the last company that serviced me. The driver never even walked to see where the recovery tank is located. In my opinion this was just a driver that didn't want another stop on his route. To me after speaking to my sales rep, I feel that his manager should have made the effort to speak to me directly. Instead took the word of a lazy driver that made no effort to even try to pull in. These guys are the cheapest around because they have to be. STAY AWAY !!! Something tells me you might find your self liable for the oil spill that you paid them to dispose of !!!
