This place takes forever to get started. Waiting in line for an hour while they let 2 other vehicles go past. Place is far too chaotic to scrap medal for average prices. Much better places elsewhere
The staff is always friendly. I have been going to trademarks for well over 10 years now. They love my dog and she loves them and she gets cookies from all of them
Today is July 5th, their web site showed they were open today. Loaded up my trailer with scrap metal, checked the website at 7:00am to confirm they were open. Drove across Pinellas County to get in line early. Only then did I see a small sign on the gate "Closed for July 4th and 5th". Adjusting the website takes 5 minutes.

Yeah the problem with trademark is they don't tell you up front what's going on and what I mean by that is you bring in stuff and then all of a sudden after they weigh it out and do everything they tell you it's restricted so you're not going to get money you're getting a check in the mail well why don't they tell you that up front so you can decide whether you still want to drop it there or not.
While I have generally had good experiences here, they will take of advantage you, if you are not vigilant. Having seen others bring in lead batteries before, I brought in 63 Lbs of gel type lead batteries. The supervisor told me that they have a 2 battery limit and acted like he wasn't interested, so I said “ok” and started to leave. He then said, “hold on, I’ll do it just this one time.” When I went to case my receipt, I was shocked to learn that he only gave me 10 cents per pound, a total of $6.30 for at least 50lbs (net wt) of lead! I accept responsibility for not clarifying the price with him beforehand, but I didn't feel the need to because I had never been low balled like that for my aluminum. Lesson learned! Be very vigilant!
Waited in line for 45 minutes, weighed in then they tell me it will be 30 minutes. They have no consideration of peoples time, screw that place and the slow people that work there.
I had some e bulk metal and replaced my golf cart batteries, didnt know they have a 2 battery per day rule, I'm disabled. 6 employees told me I had to take the batteries inside. Not one informed me of the limit, the guy watched me u loading the batteries struggle with cart waits for me to pull to door and then tells me he can only take 2. Another person there I believe was an employee laughed at me. Inside the yard I struggled to unload the truck, then the guy came over and started to give me a hard time. The rest of the story I am leaving out because either am going to sleep to an attorney regarding ada violations and discrimination that goes on there. It wasn't posted anywhere about the battery limit, their website doesn't list it .It was a busy day and the whole yard was chaos, one of the 6 could have told me that before taking them all off the back of the truck and struggling to do so . Then when I complained they treated me like I was lying and one guy had his arms crossed like a rough guy.. it's ok karma is a well as they what goes around comes around
I've been going here for probably 20 years now. Some days can be busy and it may take you an hour to get In-N-Out.
But they're honest. They're good staffed, always friendly. Helpful. And I never left feeling like I got ripped off on the scale. Or prices.

So trademark metals is 100% scamming their customers in ripping them off I took two identical window units so I could see who was paying more one to them and one two another business trademark metals paid me $3.50 for a broken down window unit and for the same identical window unit another company paid me $10 you cannot tell me that it was because of market price because I took them literally 45 minutes apart and that price difference is drastic almost 200% more money I got from another company then them think about how many people pass through this business everyday and how much money they're cheating customers and people who need this money desperately out of.
This yard is the best place to all of your scrap all of the staff is just awesome to work with I'm not only making money I'm .akeing new friends they are very friendly and pleasant to work with it's just great I really enjoy going there plus they even give back with free give aways and food there scales are always dead on and Fair I just can't say enough about them there just great I wouldn't go anywhere else there prices are always up to date And top dollar for your scrap know matter what you have a

I rather keep coming here than go anywhere else. The nicest staff helpful too if you ask questions about what should go in the steel pile and what should go to the warehouse. From management down to the yard guys everyone does a great job . Miguel is one of the most helpful yard guys always a pleasure to talk to him.
I came in with 60 pounds of aluminum, when I came in on the scale, they weighed me in at 8160 pounds. When I went and dumped off the aluminum and came back they weighed me in at 8140 pounds. While 40 pounds may not seem like a big deal. It’s an extra 18 dollars, that I wasted by going there. So my tip would be to bring a 5 to 10 pound weight and test to see if there scales are reading accurately that day before you drop off your metal.
Just recycled a bunch of clean extruded aluminum (pool enclosure) and got great money for it. Spoke to Joanna before I arrived and she confirmed the price and condition requirements.. and the cashier Clarissa was awesome. They guys were super quick to weigh and process my trailer load as well!
I'm super happy with that whole transaction!
So.. if you've ever been ripped off or jerked around recycling metals or applianced or cars ... use TMR and you WON'T be disappointed! Tons of locations and top dollar in a super fast process!
BE PREPARED TO WAIT HOURS! I have been coming year for years but lately I er the past year every time I come here it takes a hour to dump! So, if you don't have thousands of pounds of metal it's not worth the wait, plus if you have a drive time it takes forever and you'll make more money working at McDonald's then dumping here
I have noticed many times when the vehicle ahead of me pulls away from the weigh in scale that the scale goes below zero to -20. It makes me believe that it's being tampered with by an employee because I won't pull into the scale until they put it back to zero. After dumping and watching the scale on the empty vehicle, I've noticed +20 on the scale after the vehicle ahead of me pulls away. That's 40 lbs that someone is actually being shorted. After unloading, I've had to wait sitting on the scale over 3 minutes (wait time isn't the issue) and after giving my receipt the weight goes up 20 lbs. Other than these issues, this is one of the nicest recycling yards in the area. All of their employees are friendly and helpful. If they fix the scale issues to not always move in their favor, I will give them 5 stars but cheating is cheating. I still go there because it's not worth the gas to go somewhere else for the small amount of money I'm losing on the scale. Start watching the scale on the vehicle ahead of you when you enter the scale (when loaded) and notice how your weight goes up on your return from dumping your load. Your never see it drop (in your favor) you'll see it go up.
This is THE ONLY yard I come to when I have to dump. Yes the prices could be better but that's every where you go now a days. The staff is great!! Gets you in and out in an efficient time manner .. ..If you have to heavy of a load they will either get a forklift to help or will jump on it hands to hand with you and help get it off..shout out to Sandra in the office they couldn't do it without you

Don't waste your time here. Tried twice to scrap 2/3 of a vehicle. 1st time i had a bill of sale but it wasn't in my name nor didn't have a vin. The "bossman" looked and said he needed a bill of sale with the vin and for it to be signed in my name. Alright, so I leave and fulfill those requests. Got a new bill of sale with vin and signed over to me as given for scrap metal.. Now for the 2nd try... pulled up Saturday morning and gave my paperwork to have it checked before I wait 30+ minutes for nothing. Guy comes back out thumbs up and says I'm good. So here I wait 30+ minutes to get on the scale and have them tell me i need the title. Close to 3000lbs of metal I drove off with for the 2nd time. Ill find another place to do business with.
Been going there for 10yrs. Yard is large and safe to drive into. Warehouse is straight forward about business. Staff is always helpful and answers all ???. The payout seems to be higher then lots of other places.
I have meet some of the most beautiful people at TMR that have shown us their care and concerns. Great to work with. We have been trading their for years some have left but they have replaced them with people just like them. Me and my husband love you much.
I was late on a saturday just as they were closing at noon, but they let me in, so I suggest getting in the gate before noon on Saturdays, they were a team I first noticed , fast, efficient, curtious, well organized. Prices were good at the time of this reveiw. Highly recommend this place. Thanx again guys and gals for the break on being late. Much respect!
Trade mark metals is like a big family, everyone is really nice and friendly. Never had a problem but waiting in the long line. Everyone works none stop to keep everything moving, you see it, everyone been nice, and I go there quite often, thank for be there. One of the other customers said to me st.pete. is paying a dollar higher. I never checked out. Pray for America, Biden said steal is going back to China. More unemployment.
