Best tow by any captain we have ever had!
Seth towed my boat from Gulfport to Palmetto through some very tricky maneuvers, and shallow spots, definitely recommend.
This is just a unbiased comment regarding one of the one star reviews. I'm visiting the area on vacation, and I too am a captain for TowboatUS up north. I was just wondering where the towers were in this area n saw these reviews. The one fellow said the tower was gonna chg 600 for a two mile tow that's take a half hour. I just want to inform you, that keep in mind, the captain may have been an hour run from your position and after the tow he has to run back time and at some point fuel up again. He has a lot of responsibility and the insurance on those towboats is astronomical!
Besides, you don't hire just any guy w a license , so good captains don't work for 30$ an hr either. These towboat are equipped for just that and they have a lot of time through the year they're just sitting waiting for a job.
That's why the rates are so expensive, otherwise they wouldn't make it!

Way over priced just want to take advantage of you and rip you off. They quoted me $600 for a 2 mile tow and that was a deal they said because they weren’t charging me for the time to drive to me. Price was so unreasonably high my insurance wouldn’t cover it and I went with Compass Marine instead. My insurance said they wouldn’t pay for anything more than $250 an hour or $3000 total it was a 2 mile tow that would have taken 30 minutes shame on you tow boat
