Worst junkyard ever i bought parts from them and wasn’t good when i called they hang up on me few times and they been so rude save your money and time don’t go this this place bad business
The store manager, Bert, and the owner, Joseph, have repeatedly shown a complete lack of professionalism, honesty, and respect for their customers. From the very first phone call, you can tell this business does not value good service or basic communication. Bert constantly carries on multiple conversations at once, making it impossible to know if he’s talking to you or someone else. He interrupts, hangs up mid-call, and has no sense of phone etiquette or courtesy toward the people trying to do business with them.
As a commercial auto shop, we depend on reliable suppliers and honest communication. Instead, what we received was rudeness and condescension. Both Bert and Joseph have spoken down to customers, especially those with accents, often pretending they “can’t understand” someone even when the person speaks clearly and uses proper English. This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional — it’s discriminatory and deeply disrespectful.
To make matters worse, they’ve even lied about parts being out of stock when they simply didn’t want to serve a customer who had previously filed a complaint or asked to speak to management. That kind of retaliation and dishonesty has no place in any legitimate business.
It’s clear that this junkyard lacks integrity, accountability, and customer care. If you’re looking for a business that values honesty, professionalism, and treats every customer with respect — look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and take your money to a place that actually appreciates your business.
Final warning: Stay far away from this junkyard. It’s not worth your time, your money, or your dignity.
I went in here Byrd the guy in the office was super nice he helped me get the correct part !! Helped me stick it in and we was even there about 10 min after close !!! The bathroom was clean also. Just wanted to throw that in there !! I definitely would be back !!! Thankyou!!!

There was not a long wait time for the phone to be answered like most salvage yards I spoke with Mark and he was definitely nice informative and even gave me a resource to find my part because they didn’t have it. I had an incredibly helpful experience with the staff at select auto parts. They were very helpful in assisting me when I couldn't get into my vehicle, helped me jump start the vehicle and even helped me get some brake fluid in the tank reservoir to ensure I made it safely to the auto mechanic down the road from here. Bert and Robert were very helpful and caring individuals that wanted to help me get everything situated so I could safely be on my way. I am very grateful for them because they provided me with some reprieve from this extremely challenging situation.
I've been in business 28 years. They sold me a bad transmission and we went back and forth forever. Basically they took 1500.00 of my money and sent me junk. They absolutely would not do anything to make it right which would have been to refund our money or send another transmission.
Needed the rear door window, for my 02 Toyota Sequoia, and Select Auto had it. Robert was phenomenal! He had the glass out of the junked vehicle within five minutes and installed it on my truck in less than 15 minutes. He went above and beyond and vacuumed all the broken glass off my back seat and out of the floorboard, too. He was very thorough with the install, checking and rechecking to make sure the window was seated properly and securely and rolled up smoothly. Replacing a broken window, from a smash and grab theft, was not how I wanted to spend my day, but Select Auto and Robert made the experience a lot less stressful for me. Select Auto Parts will be my go-to, in the future, for spare parts for my truck and I'll, definitely, spread the word to my friends about them, too! Thanks, Robert and Select Auto for making my day better!
My Father in law went yesterday for a radiator, there was a slight misunderstanding. But Today I was on the phone with Byrd and he was very helpful and respectful. My father in law and I appreciate the help.
These people are a god send! They ordered a part for my jeep grand Cherokee air conditioner which ended up not being the issue. He sent it back and ordered a different part. He (I wish I got his name) also helped me put it in, and it works!!! He left his desk multiple times to help me. This would have never happened at any other place. Worth every penny and more. Super fair price by the way!
Hidden gem of a salvage yard.
I've lived in the area for 25 years and thought I knew where all the yards were but somehow missed this one.
I needed a spare space saver donut tire and rim for my 2005 Dodge Magnum. After calling all the yards I knew with no luck, I saw these guys on Google and 1/2 hour after calling they called me back with exactly what I needed. Their price was less than half of what I found on eBay. If you're trying to keep your old faithful running, check with these guys for the parts you need.
I just can't say how kind everyone here is. They are helpful and hard-working. Not happy I needed my car towed but happy it was here. If I'm ever looking for parts in the future I'll call here first.
They are always busy but willing to help. I always call them first to get used parts. The best price and warranty on used parts. Got an engine and transmission from them 2 years ago they are still running strong. Always do gaskets and timing chain or belt on all used engine.
My new go to place for auto parts! I was referred to Select from another a shop and saved a ton of money! Byrd was super busy on the phone but was handling it very well and was able to deal with me with patience at the same time! He was very helpful also. Being a female I have no clue what I’m doing when it comes to cars so that was great.
While I was waiting I was actually amazed on how well someone can handle that type of phone requests while dealing with physical customers at the same time. Very impressed !. The employee who picked my items was also very friendly. Need more stuff so I will be back soon !
Haven't been a fan of Tri- J towing... Circumstances have changed, as well as my lifestyle. That being said... Sad to see the "BlueRay"(das wut I called my Chevy) in this condition. But... Very personal service . Seemed organized. For a salvage yard that's not normal. Laid back.
Wow, what a great experience. Super professional and great service. Needed a few parts for my ride and the girlfriends ride. Great prices and clean showroom. I've tried the rest and now have found the best. When buying used auto parts in this area most places seem intimidating, filthy dirty and chaotic. Not at Select, felt like family and treated by friendly eager staff. I'm so impressed that I came back and bought more and same great experience. I definitely recommend this place.
Called for AC compressor, EDD and Byrd were ver polite, very reasonable prices, delivered what they said they would on time. Very happy, and I couldn't believe the selection of used vehicles they have for sale. Deff recommend to friends and family.
