Called and asked if they can give me a discount on my personal tow of my car because I work for a company that does a lot of business with them. We called them on a weekly basis and gave their number to our customers that got stuck with big construction equipments. Big machines big money needs to use like a rotator.
The rude customer rep’s at stepps towing’s words were : Your company has an account but you don’t so why would we give you a discount. Well I am going to answer it to you now..
Because every company does that we do business with and we have given any steps towing employees a discount if they needed an equipment off of our price. ( not anymore)
Also the company name is not an actual person, it is ran by people. Guess what am I ? I’m that person, I would call you or I would give your number to customers that got stucked.
Do you think I am giving your number after this? Ohhh Noooo. I have been calling a different company for my company.
So I called one of our other vendor, whom gave me a discount and helped me out.
Do you think I have been calling them now, or you?
Hey, but you saved your $50-$100 on that one time towing, just also lost thousands in the future business. Oh and you didn’t save the $50-100 either because I hade my car towed with another tow company.
Thank you guys so much for everything you do. You make sure everyone out there is safe and off the track if need be. And your staff is absolutely amazing. Respectable and empathetic. Dusty loves you all.
Johluce Davis here. Let me tell you how much of a lifesaver this tow company is, they work with you as best they can and they are Swift in their efforts!! I have been stuck on the side of 275 for most of the night it was 64° and I couldn't nor my insurance company could find anybody who is willing but stepps we're willing and even though it was a complicated tow and very complicated circumstances surrounding my situation they made it nice and easy, and they actually went out of their way to save me some money and put my stress to ease! Not that I'm anyone special but I would like to say I don't do many reviews on places but they are definitely worth the review and they are worth your time give them a call they will help you!!!!
Penallas County has been cracking down on trucks that park anywhere to go home in the county. The laws here for overnight parking in Penallas County are just as bad as Palm Beach County FL. Just getting permission from the owner of the business is not good enough. The county has contacted the towing companies to go get you and impound your truck! Like I said, it is not the County Businesses, it is the County Legislature. This county has gotten to be so bad. I would move out of this county if I could.
Justin, The driver was amazing! He was so kind professional and informative, not to mention the way he can maneuver a truck that size in our parking lot was very impressive!
Needed my daughter’s car towed to car dealership. Called shortly after 8am, a real person answered (compared to please leave a message system - ugh) and the truck arrived within 30 minutes just as they said. The driver was professional, courteous and prompt. Got the car loaded quickly and delivered to dealership. Thank goodness I don’t need a tow service often but I have a favorite now.
Great company. I have AAA . I was stranded for 2 hours no reply. I called Stepps... truck was there in 12 minutes. Professional service from customer service to driver drop off at my residence. I highly recommend ! AAA SUCKS!
Jacob, I believe his name was, was phenomenal. I don't normally leave reviews, but given that the directions took him to the wrong place. When he did get there, he was quick, resourceful, friendly, communicative, and last but not least, went an extra mile to help us out. Overall, I was glad to meet him. I am grateful for his help. Keep doing what you do best, man!
Towed my car and instead of bringing it to the repair shop dropped it off across the street in a parking lot charged full price for the tow. Scammers. Unprofessional. Incompetent
Ralph is extremely unprofessional and rude, offered my help to get 2 pieces of equipment off of his truck to help prevent damage to hydrostatic units and was rudely told to get away from his truck and "he got it". Justin is the only nice guy I've met thru this company. 0 out of 10 do not recommend
Terrible company. Will never use them or recommend them ever. Too expensive and horrific customer service. Phone calls go unanswered and the management is a joke. Go with Joes!
Made a call at 2am. Dispatch actually answered and gave my a fair estimate. The driver was at my location in under 15 min and got me home under way cheaper prices than some of the other ones. Great service at a fair price
Performed a very difficult (due to RV location) battery charge. Roc was awesome! He helped me move my RV into a better position after he charged the battery. He was very pleasant and professional.
I did not give this company authorization to tow my vehicle. I had another company in route when they hauled my car away after being involved in a wreck. Three weeks later I received a notice that my car would be going to auction on a certain date and during that time I would be charged and had already been charged over $300 with no notice prior. I figured the payment for the car would take care of the charges. I never heard from them again. During that time, with no other notices, a lien was filed against my license. They are crooks that prey on people on a daily basis that appears to be done that way to collect more money than necessary. What they do should be considered illegal. TOTALLY CROOKS.
Another great experience with Stepp’s Towing today. Called last night to schedule a tow for the morning and the truck arrived right on time. Eric was very pleasant to speak with and did a great job getting my vehicle to Reeves today, calling to let me know it had arrived there. Thank you to Carol in dispatch and Eric the tow operator. They even showed up on Christmas to help me get my car out of a ditch so I definitely have to give them a 5-star even though they could not help me that day, they sent a larger tow truck the next morning. Much thanks and many kudos.
After sending emails they asked for, I never got a call or any answer in any way, I called twice and nothing. They SUCK. WILL REPORT TO BETTER BUSINESS Bureau.
