Absolutely Horrifying Experience – BEWARE
I had the worst experience at this auto parts store, and I feel compelled to warn others. I came in to return a part I purchased just a day before, with my receipt in hand, expecting a simple, routine return. Instead, I was met with unprofessional, aggressive, and completely unacceptable behavior from an employee named Anthony.
From the moment I approached the counter, Anthony was loud, belligerent, and hostile. I remained calm and simply explained that I was returning an item. Rather than handling the matter professionally, he escalated the situation by becoming verbally aggressive, then physically intimidating. He actually came around the counter with a bat, made an attempt to swing it at me, and charged at me.
As if that wasn’t enough, things became even more dangerous when Anthony pulled out a firearm, all because I was trying to return an auto part? His actions put my life at risk and were completely unjustifiable.
What’s even more disturbing is that I’ve attempted to contact the business owner, Mike, multiple times, and I’ve received no response. There’s been zero accountability.
This business is a liability they clearly lack proper customer service training, is extremely alarming. If I hadn’t stayed calm, this situation could have ended much worse.
I strongly urge anyone considering doing business here to think twice. Your safety should never be compromised over something as simple as returning an item.
Beware of getting bad batteries for your car. I came here and got a battery for my car and my car still wouldn't start. I took my car somewhere for them to test the battery and it shows it was bad but the manager swore that the battery was good and it was something wrong with my car but I ended up going to autozone like I should have in the first place and received a battery and my car is working great. Also customer service isn't there strong suit especially if you are a female so be cautious when spending your money here because they do not like giving refunds.
This place is very bad, I have been robbed, I have been scammed, the customer service is very bad. I felt intimidated, I do not recommend it.
Besides, they don't like to give a guarantee and the parts they sell are of very poor quality, because they buy them back, they don't have them. They call some car dealers to buy them.
Hello Mike,and crew at Ernie's salvage Yard my name is John I was in today Monday November 18th 8:00 a.m. I asked Mike for a couple of parts of a glove compartment, clips that hold the door in place Mike told me it comes with the complete door just like the Toyota dealer told me Mike said let me see what I can do he told me to come back in a couple hours he will get the clips for me I went back and they were no charge very grateful I was in the automotive business for 42 years in parts departments up north I will recommend everybody to go to Ernie's salvage Yard for their automotive needs !!! thank you again Mike !!!! and the rest of the staff that's going above & beyond 10 Stars !!!

Went in to grab some scrap rims for a sculpture, dude just gave em to me (not trying to set up an expectation for free stuff though…). …said he would have thrown em out anyways, glad to help a local artist. I don’t buy car parts, but if I did … character matters thanks man
Ernie and Anthony are the most DISRESPECTFUL people ever. Felt immediately threatened at this store all because they did not want to give me a warranty on a part. They cursed out my mom for absolutely no reason and tried to kick her out the store. They don’t know how to talk to people.
UPDATE: Nobody was rude. All that was wanted was a warranty on a part and it was made a big deal. I work in customer service, and no matter how “rude” a customer is, I STILL respect them and treat them as everybody else would wanted to be treated. Not going ahead and cursing at them and calling them out their name. Don’t try to come on here and flip the script.
I gave a 5 star and highly recommend getting your parts here. Their customer service is second to none. You cut the hassle of getting to a lot with all makes and model of vehicles to find out that the part you’ll looking for has been already taken out.
Let me tell you three things why you’re going to come here first. 1. Pricing is fair and transparent definitely value for money. 2. No searching of vehicles in a lot. 3. You come out with your clean sneakers or shoe and with no grease on them and all part are handed to you. Thank you so much from Ms. Nissan :)
Mike and Anthony are experts and give it to you straight the cost and availability of parts, I definitely recommend you using them for salvaged part needs, they found me a Ford Explorer 2010 gas tank part and it comes with a guarantee, what else can you ask for, good customer service!
Just got off the phone with a guy named Mike who refused to answer the simple question of they had a particular vehicle in inventory, that was it! He was beyond rude, accused me of calling from a repair shop and suggested I call the Honda dealer then hung on the phone on me. Man what classless way to handle business. This guy should not be answering any phone calls whatsoever. Also said there was no one else that could help me answer my ONE question. Insane but true. I’ll pray for you buddy.
Just to follow up on your response, Mike, no cuss words were used on my behalf, and on the contrary, I went out of my way to ask if you were having a good day I don’t know in who’s book that’s rude and condescending, but I am not here to change your feelings and or opinions just stating facts. Like I said, before, I will pray for you, and I mean it because our hearts should be for each other, and not against. Even though I still need help with the car part everything‘s gonna be all right, but sincerely as a business man don’t treat people rude and disrespectful. It’s unnecessary and unhealthy for your own soul.
Mike was very friendly and helpful. Got lucky and they had the part I was looking for in stock. In and out in 20 minutes.
Always try to come here for a good bargain.
Mike was so very helpful as I have never sold a car in florida and he enlightened me on laws I had no idea of. He made this transaction very easy and I left feeling I made a great decision using their services!!
Mike was pleasant to deal with regarding my request for a part that I needed for my 06 town car. He found the part and called me to say it would be at the counter waiting for me. The price he gave me for it was "less than a million dollars". When I arrived I was given the part free of charge! This was a lovely gesture;you can't beat free.

I worked with Mike at Ernie's Affordable Auto and I must say I would recommend this company because of him for your auto parts needs. He took the time to ensure I got the right part and in his research he found it at a competitor and he directed me to that loxation. He could have just said we don't have it in stock but he took the time to ensure I got the part.

I had a broken part on the axle of my Ford F-250 4x4, I went over to Lake Worth Auto Salvage with low expectations of them having the part I needed. I dealt with Nick I Believe. I gotta say I’m highly impressed with these guys he came out and looked at my truck, went in the back and found exactly what I needed. His price was “more than fair” and he Really Hooked me up with all the parts I needed to fix the mess I had going on. Great price, quality used part, fast friendly service. I rate them high, will recommend them and will definitely go back if I need anything else these guys know what they’re doing. Because of how close they are to me, the price and quality of the parts I got either I just got lucky or these guys are the only place to go. They got it going on. Thank you for all your help
I looked everywhere for a great auto salvage vendor, and after going to quite a few in the past, I was about to give up..
So when I went into the store last week and needed a few specific parts for a specific project, I was immediately and graciously helped by the Employee named Mike at the front desk.
He called for my parts and within mere moments I could pick them up same day and get them for the best price I ever received for them in all of my experiences of shopping around.
Will definitely be back and will definitely be working with Mike again -- his skills, service, and assistance showed him to be the definition of a model employee and a truly valuable asset to the company overall.

Great experience with Ernie's affordable salvage. Mike was awesome to deal with. He is knowledgable, he accurately represented the part, communicated professionally, and had the transmission I needed pulled, prepped and ready for my pickup on schedule.
