Terrible experience with Copart. I paid for a membership and couldn’t even use it properly because they hide important details about dealer licenses and restrictions depending on each state. When I asked for a refund, they refused — even though it’s completely unfair and not clearly explained anywhere.
To make things worse, after I requested my refund, they blocked my account. Now I can’t even log in or see the auctions. Basically, I paid a membership just to give them free money.
No customer support, no proper response to emails, nothing. Honestly, this company’s way of treating customers is unprofessional and dishonest. I would never recommend Copart to anyone.
My vehicle was towed in after a total loss. When I went to collect my personal belongings, everything was missing, and Copart has no idea where the items are. After reading other reviews, it looks like the items may have been stolen.
They need to add more staff to serve the public. There was only one employee serving and the waiting room was full of other people. Everything was fine.
My vehicle was brought here by mistake. They proceeded to steal my tag and my license plate cover. Took them over a month to return my tag, and they only returned it after I reported it stolen. They are also over 4 hours away from where the accident happened. they should have never even received my vehicle. The had some sort of shady deal with the wrecker company. They need to be investigated by law enforcement and shut down.
Terrible copart they take their sweet time to load you. Loaders are driving around with their phone in hand having a great time. Almost as bad as the opa locka location.
They are screw up people, they have attitude specially this one in west palm beach. They asking stupid questions to keep the vehicle longer to charge for late fees . They are not professional, I ask them questions they said they don’t know and they put that stupid appointment thing it’s a scam to make sure you take there tow truck, the city needs to check on those people are the doing business
I had my insurance tow my car here because it was most likely going to be totaled out. This was at the recommendation of my insurance company.
I went to pick up my tag per Copart I brought the proper documentation to be able to collect my tag, I was advised that "they remove the tag from the cars and they are kept in a separate place for safekeeping." They handed me an envelope when I opened it, I realized they had given me someone else's tag. No one seemed surprised when I showed them.
I was told don't worry it's here, we will call you when we find it. NO CALL. Items left in the car of course missing, but that is to be expected and could have been Sheehan's towing. However, Copart is the one removing tags for "safekeeping". Clearly, the staff and/or business is in on selling your tag, My replacement cost me over $800.00.
I enjoyed the west palm location . They helped me in a decent timely manner and also let me hold a jump starter. I would say come prepared when you come to the front desk as there’s always a line . The location is hard to find because there isn’t a big sign as you pass by. You might drive right past it .
These people are horrible, dishonest, thieves! They came and stole my vehicle without my permission after I changed my mind and told them I no longer wanted to sell it to them. They sent a truck early in the morning and took my car away while I was sleeping with all my personal belongings still in it and then refused to give it back to me. After multiple phone call attempts I was hung up on almost every time Copart support transferred my calls to this office which they blamed on “flooding”. The only time I did get through to someone there they told me if I wanted the vehicle back that I fully owned and they had absolutely no right to take, I had to pay them $800. I was furious. They only returned my car to me after I went to their office in person and told them that I had contacted the police, which I did at that point. Then they decided to cooperate and gave me my car back. These people are completely dishonest and corrupt! Just read all the other horrible reviews. I’m telling you, NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!

Was waiting for a month for my refund and didn’t receive anything. So when I called them, they told me that someone forgot to process it. Meanwhile, the person that I spoke to, that day, downgraded my account and said that everything is settle. Also, they told me that you have to wait for it for another month BUT, if you want your money back faster, you have to pay an extra fee to receive it within 5-7 business days.
Freaking unprofessional people that conduct monkey business! Never again

I was forced to deal with absolute lawlessness and a violation of my consumer rights when purchasing a car at this auction. Let's start with the fact that I had previously inspected the car, ensuring that it met my expectations and requirements. However, as soon as the payment was made and I expected to receive my car, a real nightmare began.
The auction staff responsible for the transportation and delivery of vehicles completely ignored the principles of honesty and responsibility. Instead of carefully loading my car onto the transport vehicle, it was damaged. This was a clear case of unreliability and indifference to customer interests.
And what is most frustrating, the auction refuses to compensate me for any losses or even acknowledge their fault in this incident. This is a blatant violation of my consumer rights because they are obligated to provide the item in the condition described and protect it during transportation.
Furthermore, the auction's internal rules seemingly do not protect the interests of customers and only serve their own purposes. This experience was not only financially burdensome but also morally disappointing.
I hope that this complaint will lead the auction to comply with the law and respect the rights of its customers; otherwise, they may face serious legal consequences for violating consumer rights.

I’ve bought a few cars here and never had issues, but recently when I try to go and view a car they make up excuses and say I can’t because I’m not a dealer… literally no one is ever viewing cars at this location… anytime I come here I’m the only person viewing a car… I always get let in because I show Proof I was let in before but they try to make up rules and not let you in but you just need to not agree with them and tell them you can go in with your basic membership and they end up letting you in. Very lazy and slow seems like no one cares or wants to be there which is sad some people are spending 10-100k buying cars and the staff are careless….
Definitely had issues with cars here I bought a car that “ran and drove” but didn’t. I’d be cautious with the cars you buy from here…. Other than that the main issues I’ve had with this location is staff feel entitled to make up rules to not let you see cars but it’s illegal. Paying for a copart basic membership gives you the option to always view a car at any location.
This is crazy came all way from Miami to this location for preview vehicle with advanced membership they don't allow only dealer license I told them yes I cant bid but I can preview I am not going to bid ,my licensed dealer will bid she replied no only dealer allow , on their website so called manager "We invite you to stop by anytime Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to preview vehicles in person, meet our friendly Copart team " bul....t. There the said florida law doesnt allow there is no florida law that is telling me not to preview vehicle gogle need to allow 0 review I would place 0 review happily
Scamers site west palm, had basic membership, in miami allow to preview vehicle but on this site west palm you cant preview because you need to come with dealer how to come with dealer if he bid online and is located in california scammer called customer service online they said you should be allow on Premises I dont know whats going on with yhem i guessed they lost their mind they advised me to register online kiosk I register online gor preview I saw in queue and it showed completed nobody came to me to assist be careful they are scammer complain to bussiness burreau

Honestly the rudest business you could have ever deal with, they are perfectly fine falsely advertising cars and sell them to you. My car was a clean title car with complete rusted frame that would have killed me if I was to drive it had my mechanic not be working on it to fix a $550 alternator repair that I was very mad about but just dealt with it but after what they did by clearly trying to cover it up with spray paint!!! Like this is against even multiple statuses of Florida law that I don’t wanna have to take them to court because it’s for such an inexpensive car hoping they will make it right so everyone can end this headache that so easily could have costed me my life and they have no care it’s very sad…
Da'Quan was amazingly helpful! He ensured to provide me with correct and factual information which therefore I was able to get my belongings at my convenience; was very important for every day tax payers.
Although I arrived a few minutes before close, and someone else tried to turn me away not knowing the distance of where I came from and I also left early to get this done; Da'Quan was there to assist. For that I am grateful.He needs a raise!!
Customer service n forklift drivers is 2 slow always have one person n front desk taking care of drivers they need 2 hire more people 4 the front n forklift 2 help the driver get out of here faster
Mike is the man! Would probably say out of about 20 Copart yards I've been to this is the best. Fast paced, respectful, pleasant and caring staff. Then there's the wonder woman, Cindy (Best in class).
The people there were so nice and helpful . After saying that the four brand new tires were missing off of the car and The back-up camera and battery. They say it didn't happen on their yard but somebody sure did do it they replaced the new parts with old parts so it took some time.
I bought 2 cars from this location. One about 7-8 years ago. It was a 2007 BMW 328i. The car was front ended, and they did not remove the radiator and condenser but removed the front bumper, radiator support and headlights. From the photos you would never think that the accident affected the engine. But the photos were very very misleading. The engine had an undercarriage damage, the engine was smash on the bottom and it was done, you could see the timing chain was broken. They should have removed the radiator and condenser to show the damage, but they left them on purpose there to hide the real damage. The listing stated: "Run and Drive" what a joke. There is no way a car can run with a broken timing chain. I received it and told them that the vehicle does not start, and there is no way it did start at the auction, they told me: Sold As-Is and hung up. Very very rude service. After that, I stopped buying. About a month ago, I bought a vehicle for my friend from the same West Palm Beach Copart location, a 2004 BMW 325i with a very light damage, and again, was I wrong. The photos were misleading. Whoever took the photos did a great job to hide the real damage. The car ran over something and that something hit the car so hard, that the radiator and condenser pushed the ac compressor and broke it, when the compressor broke, it also broke the bracket attaching the compressor to the block, so the block now has a damage that cannot be repaired. Now, I need to buy a new engine. The side damage that you see in the photo is the only photo was taken, they should've taken a close up photo of the damage, but they didn't. When I received the vehicle, I was very disappointed. Mike called me a week after my purchase and asked me about my buying experience, I told him everything and he refused to help.
Oh, the side airbag was also blown, (PASSENGER SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG FROM THE FRONT RIGHT IMPACT) and in the photos you could NOT see that it was blown, because once again whoever took the photos is doing his/her best to benefit the insurance companies and copart.
I would avoid this location.

I had the absolute pleasure of buying a white box truck from this location that was sold to me as a run n drive vehicle. Drove 300 miles one way for pickup to find out that the vehicle doesn't even start. Mike fought hard to start it, but failed and blamed a fuse/relay but was swearing that his worker had it started and it got into gear. I believed Mike. I trusted him, being the yard manager and all maybe he isn't full of it. Well after dollying the beast on a auto transport from uhaul to storage I quickly found out the reason why no start...
The starter was shattered in pieces and the bolts holding it to the block were bent. Meaning there was no way of starting this thing. Got lied to by manager and now I gotta buy more parts than originally thought much appreciated Mike.
Gotta make sure insurance company is happy I guess.
this company started out great for dealers, however a lot has changed in the last few years. i was one of there first buyers approx 20 years ago , but i buy very few cars from this auction any more , the fees they now charge you are crazy, to purchase a car and now they require a cash 400 dollar deposit just to register, regardless of your credit, they offer a membership that does not require a deposit but that is a joke since you can only spend up to 1000 dollars in the 20 plus years 1 have been doing business with them i have never spent under a 1000 dollars. corporate greed ! they don't care about there dealers ! and if good luck trying to contact someone with a complaint ! .
