DO NOT USE KAUFF TOWING!! Just encountered the rudest tow truck driver with Kauffs towing at the PB Outlet Mall and I was not even having my car towed. The tow truck was blocking 10+ spaces and I saw him exit the vehicle to look under the hood of the disabled truck I walked over and ask “can you back up for a few feet so I can leave”. Not only did he continue the conversation and inspection with the owner of the disabled vehicle, he made me wait until it was pushed out of the space, driven on the bed, secured, bed leveled and completing paper work. To add to the sting of being inconvenienced FOR 20minutes, disrespected and ignored, I called it in to complain and base on the lack of concern with my report, I know this will not be addressed. DO NOT USE KAUFFS. THEY DISRESPECT WOMEN AND AS LONG AS THE GET THE TOW, THER IS NO REGARD OR COURTESY PROVIDED TO THOSE INCONVENIENCED!!!! First and only google review.
This company sent me a bill certified mail stating I owe them for towing fees after they impounded a vehicle following an accident. I have not owned this vehicle for 7 years after trading it in at a dealership in Tennessee in 2019. I don’t even live in Florida.
Upon calling them to amicably resolve the matter, they calmly told me I owed the money per the DMV who stated I am the registered owner of the vehicle. This is patently false.
I have filed a claim with the Office of the Attorney General in Florida, and I have also filed a report with the Better Business Bureau.
Outrageous pricing over inflated mileage fee administrative fee tow fee.. charged us $525 to be held for one day.... don't even think that is within the confines of the law.. worst administrative desk person receptionist ever encountered completely uncompassionate towards extortion to the vehicles... these people have no soul.. completely soulless
Heartless Company is making me drive 20hr on my only day off, because i cant talk to anyone at the actual tow yard on the phone! Absolutely insane!! Leaving me zero options, with a threat to my livelihood, if i don’t take care of a cars bill in person that i sold 2 years ago! Keep the car let me pay the bill!! I don’t have time for this crap, The call center is not the way to run a legitimate business, the old to big to fail attitude at its best! Companies are falling like dominos because they never see the problems and make adjustments!
Adam 200 was very nice ar site of crash and at the drop off. He talked us through what procedures were going to happen step by step. Answered all our questions Adam.was kind and never becameimpatiwnt
If you’re looking for a place that acts like the worst stereotype of wreckers, this is the place. We have a corporate account with them but I’ll be using anyone else moving forward. Starts off great when you call. The girls are really friendly. But if your service requires a more hands on approach from people that do the work, you’re out of luck. I needed a daycab lifted off a stepdeck.. was going to store it until I could get someone to look at it,. No problem the girls said. So I set everything up had delivered and stored. I actually showed up at the east ave location. It’s the kind of place where no one looks you in the eye when they talk. They are rude when barking orders. Even the rotator driver apologized. After ultimately being unhappy with the service (I was told AFTER they had the truck that no one could look at it). It’s like I self impounded and now I wax the bad guy. I called to talk to a manager and the girls said none would be available until the next day. I’d have to call back. I called back.. got a price to tow the daycab to a mechanic 3 miles away and was given a high price. I said whoa.. we have an account here.. is that our pricing. She said “ that’s the price the manager gave me”. Within seconds I say “excellent, may I speak to your manager”. She puts me on hold for 6 minutes and say I’m sorry they are in a meeting. Really? You just said it was the price a manager gave you but now they are in a meeting? Most unprofessional, unhelpful organization I’ve used. I’d recommend Alpine towing or Kelle Sheehans.
Above and beyond my expectations. Just excellent service, rapid response and a reasonable price for my towing. Your representative was personable and carrying.
Outstanding service. Driver was quick to respond and expertly removed my truck from a busy supermarket parking stall. Outstanding communication skills through the whole process. Friendly and polite.
Rude customer service from the young lady in the front. It’s not what you say but how you say it. People are coming in from accidents or whatever life issues we don’t need to be barked at by a drill Sargent. Empathy goes a long way unless we’re all just dollar signs.
Josh from kauffs towing company did amazing job. He called me to let me know what time he will arrive to pick up my tractor and deliver it to the repair shop in West Palm Beach Florida.. he did an amazing job over and beyond made sure my tractor was safe he was very professional and attentive to all my needs. I highly recommend kauffs towing company for all your towing needs they treat you like family. Also the office staff was very knowledgeable and caring about my needs to get my tractor safe and sound at the repair shop.

Recently I was in the need of the services of Kauff’s Transportation and while no one likes “Tow Companies” the people at Kauff’s could not have been any nicer.
The dispatch team was courtesy and understood the urgency of my situation and had a driver en-route to me in no time.
The technician was genuinely nice who I met with and what could have been a stressful situation was no stress at all.
Whether you are in need of an Emergency Tow or Roadside Assistance I would not hesitate to reach out to them for help.
Coughs Towing was wonderful to work with. Michael came out and was so kind and easygoing. He got the shipping container up and onto the truck without any trouble, brought it to the new spot, and dropped it off just right—like a charm. Everything went smooth, and I really appreciated how thoughtful and professional he was. Thank you!
Words cannot describe the service we received from Kauff’s of Palm Beach. Our driver Fernando was exceptional. He kept me abreast of his movements, as it was a long haul transport. The office staff, Hope, was very patient with me while making my final payment. I highly recommend Kauff’s!
My trucks front right tire locked up in me. I call Kauff’s towing. The took my info and told me they would have a truck there in an hour. The driver call me and asked me a few questions and said he would be there in 15 minutes. He showed up on time rolled my truck up one of the back of the flatbed. And took me to where I work. I moved my Work van and he dropped my truck in place of where my work van was at. He did an excellent job and retrieving my truck and placing it where I needed it. The young man was real friendly and nice and handled that tow truck like a professional.
Jason Petz K708 was our hero today! Blew a wheel bearing miles from home . He had to tow the boat on the trailer to my house. A lot more involved that I thought!
5 stars all around. When my truck had a no start situation, it needed a tow to the dealership. I see the trucks on the road all the time so my first call was to Kauff's. Not only was the wait time less than 15 minutes but the guys that came to my rescue were polite, personable and handled my vehicle with care. Had to hitch a ride with them to the dealership and the conversation between us was hysterical to say the least. Overall Kauff's played a role in taking an unfortunate situation and making it somewhat of a fun adventure. I can't remember the two guys names but I offer my many thanks. Keep up the great work!
Got my new car stuck on a median and thought, there's no way I'm getting it off without damaging it! Luckily my driver was super experienced and had a trick up his sleeve! Got it off without any damage and they didn't rip me off on the price!!! Thank you Kauffs Towing!!!
I just wanted to say that Calvin and Justin were the best with helping tow my car from my work garage! There were very careful and thorough every step of the way! Thank you for employing these guys!
These place are never pleasant.. which I can only imagine goes with dealing with people going through tough frustrating situations.. lack of a better word, frustrating situations.
I rarely ever feel the need to write a review however, my experience at this location is something I sincerely never thought would’ve experience…
The first beam of light was Alexa, how she tried everything in her power to make things as simple and painless as possible. Her empathy and understanding, not to leave out her unmatchable patients.
To my amazement with every hurdle that came up.. alexa was right by my side to get everything taken care of all within small window before they closed on Friday.
To say I was blown away by the professionalism, beyond and understatement other employees to note Casey and not to leave out a few others, I don’t recall their names, but every single one was extremely helpful.
However, I want make sure Alexis gets the awareness that she deserves. You have be Goldstar employee. And this business when you’re helping people on their worst day and you have someone that truly is a game changer by just the person they are not just a huge asset to accompany, but a blessing to the people that come in contact I just want to thank you guys For the amazing experience during a terrible time.
Not that I would recommend coming here. However, if you are in a similar situation, I wanted to be known that they do have amazing people that will work patiently with you so if you go into a showing them courtesy, it will be the best experience you thought you never would have .
Hired them to load a truck/tractor onto my trailer first thing the next morning. When the arrogant wrecker operator showed up an hour late (his first call of the morning), he said I needed to hire one of their smaller wreckers in addition to him, to get the truck out from where it was sitting. I said no, and that I’d tow it out with my own tractor where he could get to it and I’d do it in less than 10 minutes. He got mad and left! I couldn’t believe it! I towed the truck out of the yard, and up the street a thousand feet using my aluminum trailer ramp on my truck as a tow bar and loaded the truck with an excavator that someone had near by. These guys suck and are a shame to the industry!
I used them three and both times I got my man Frank to tow my large car and he did a fantastic job hope like hell I don’t have to use them or any other towing services anytime soon but I have to and Kauff is in the area they will be the first ones I call on T&Z Transport Inc
