My father told me about this place a LONG time ago. I needed a part they get on the computer and bingo they have it. No walking a junkyard all day with cars stacked on top of each other. Never finding even the car you're looking to get a part from. This place is quick and easy and fair priced.
I called to see if they had spare tires for my car and they gave me an outrageous price. I believe they heard a woman's voice and thought they could charge whatever and I wouldn't know the difference. Predatory and unacceptable. How is it 200 for ONE used junkyard spare tire? I paid 250 yesterday at tire kingdom for TWO BRAND NEW tires (not used, not from a junkyard, and I got 2 for the price Astro wanted to charge for 1). Your definitely better off going there. I didn't appreciate their response to my review either, bad customer service all around!!! If your a women and don’t appreciate being mansplained to and taken advantage of, or if your a man with women in your life that you don’t want that to happen to — don’t support this business. Look below at their response bragging about how many women they take advantage of.

The hubcap fell off my beloved 2007 Lincoln Navigator, Dana was kind enough on the phone to tell me to bring the vehicle in and see if he had a part. When I arrived he did not but offered to fix and replace the damaged hubcap , it looks great ! He wouldn't accept a tip, instead asking for me to write ( my first ever )review.

Dana and Lenny are great! The parts I ordered were very fairly priced, arrived the next morning, and when I arrived at the end of the day on Friday to pick up, they offered to install them for me even though it was almost closing time! Completely satisfied with Astro!

Called this morning looking for replacement door panels for some minor wear/tear damage. Dana quoted me a legit price for the pair and asked a few more questions including asking for a photo. After viewing the photo, Dana said that I don't need new panels, there's a type of paint that will fix my problem. Dana "could have" easily said I need the panels, I wouldn't have known better, but his honesty and integrity saved me $500! Highly recommend!
So I came to this place not knowing much about it and turned out to be an amazing experience. Just by walking in the place I can already tell it's very organized and professional. I am new to the area and stopped at Astro Auto Salvage last week to give them a try. My experience was very pleasant. They had the part I needed for my daughter's '98 Saturn, retrieved it quickly and charged me a reasonable price. I was very impressed and will definitely go back. Outstanding customer service!!! Came here today with a busted rim in my trunk and a spare on my car. Instead of trying to sell me on a product and tell me the rim wasn't salvageable, Dana stepped outside to have a look at the rim himself. He took 15 minutes out of his day to bend the rim back together like it was brand new, free of charge. He even asked if I wanted to change the tire there and fill it up. I will be back for any of my car needs as the prices were magnificence the as well.

They didn't have what I needed but they were able to order the part. The price was very reasonable and the service was professional and courteous. Dana is a personable person. After my phone call I was able to reserve my parts. The representative was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. The gentleman gave me a great price. When I went to pick up the part, the establishment was very clean and organized. As soon as I payed for my part all I had to wait was 20 mins which was incredible timing to take out a part from within a car. Last but not least, great advice was given to me on behalf of the part that I requested. I definitely will return and also highly recommend anyone who is looking for used auto parts that comes along with accommodating service to make a visit here.
I had a pleasant experience. I was charged 1/2 the price of a new part, and the part I received looked new. They also installed the part at a fair price. Their service was fast, efficient, and polite. The part I needed was the side mirror for a Cadillac Deville.
They stand behind their guaranty, because the first mirror I got gave a double image. Dana saw this, and he immediately ordered another one which came in a week. They installed the second one at no charge to me. There was no charge to me except for the original purchase. Dana said that the parts they sell must be in excellent condition.
In short, this is a place that sells good parts at a fair price (about 1/2 the price as new, but the quality and looks of new, they stand behind their guaranty no questions asked, and their service is fast, efficient, and courteous. It doesn't get any better than that.

I had an awesome experience at Astro Auto Salvage today. I was referred to them by a Ford dealership after I hesitated to pay $80 for a new hub cap. ( I love my Ford dealership and have always had good experiences there as well, but I hoped to find a lower price.) After speaking to Dana and Mike on the phone to make sure we ordered the correct hub cap, I placed my order online for $50, a $30 savings. Mike was diligent in his follow up, providing me with the exact price to input online, and the estimated time of arrival. He called me as soon as it came in. I expected a used hub cap, but when I went in today, they gave me a brand new one and even popped it on for me. It was a great experience and I certainly recommend checking with them first before paying the higher dealer prices on parts. Thanks, guys!
I needed a radio for my 2008 Dodge Avenger. Mine had stopped working a few weeks before & the silence was torture. I purchased a new radio at an auto parts store, but soon discovered that a $70 radio replacement would turn out to cost over $200, due to installation kit & custom wire harness for my model. I thought why not call a junk yard(even though I had never before). My first & only call was to Dana at Astro, just a few minutes from my home. He responded professionally & within minutes told me he had one for $45. I was there within an hour & one of his guys removed it with minutes. A quick install(plug & play) proved that mine had, indeed, been broken, but also proved I had just spent $45 wisely. These guys are quick & personable(even offered me watermelon while we waited). Dana was very helpful when I called him about a replacement radio for a 99 Mercury Grand Marquis. He walked me through ordering on line and we picked the radio up within 2 days. His service and customer rapport are excellent.
