I can't say enough good things about this repair shop and the professionalism of their team. I had my truck aligned and tires rotated and they fixed what the local Dodge dealer in Key West couldn't. Thank you so much for taking care of my truck.

We were traveling through the area headed to Key West when we had something in our tire and were losing tire pressure quickly. They were able to get us in, fix the tire, and get us back on the road quickly! They were thorough, kind, and professional. We appreciate their help!

These guys are awesome. Lee the owner picked up the call and got me scheduled in right away for tires and alignment super polite mechanic and owner would give them 10 stars if I could.

Just the place one looks for, great experience, well done and the staff was friendly and helpful. Fixed an a/c problem quickly. We'll be going back for services.

Great experience! They got my in car in the day after I called, took care of the work that day, and even provided me a ride home after dropping off my car and picked me up when the work was done. I will call them again if I need more repairs!

Asked them to fix a problem with my car and they fixed it, but also asked them to do an alignment, which they didn’t do and my tire was covered in oil. They also told me they’d call me back a couple times which they never did, always had to call them. Suggest going somewhere else if you can.

Called a few days ago. Told me they could definitely change my tires and do an alignment. I told them about the low profile tires and the car had been lowered 3/4”. They still said it wouldn’t be an issue. They don’t make appts, you just drop your car off at 8am and they call when it’s ready. I show up and tell the guy I was there with the car. He just took the keys and didn’t say much. I confirmed with was for the tires and alignment. He just said okay. I get a call later while working that they couldn’t do the alignment because it wouldn’t fit on the rack. And they couldn’t even change the tires because they didn’t have the tools and they were worried about scratching the wheels. I appreciate them not causing damage to my car but don’t tell me you can definitely do it, have me drop off the car and then not do it. Wasted a day and my time. *ignorantly lowered? It’s 1” as discussed when I made the appt and was told how that not was definitely not an issue.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! My boyfriend called to schedule an alignment to be done on his car. Over the phone, he gave them the make, the model and that it was a low profile car. He made sure to ask if they could work on a lower profile car and they assured him that they could and it wouldn’t be a problem. They told him to drop the car off Wed at 8am and it would need to sit all day until they got to it. They could not give him a time frame or window for completion. Which means he asked me to assist in getting his car there for this appt, which meant me follow him there to the appt and then take him back later in the day to get his car once the service was complete. We showed up to the shop at 7:45am for the appt. There were workers there, but not a front desk attendant yet. The owner arrived at 7:56am, I think Lee is his name. The owner seemed uninterested in my boyfriends arrival. My boyfriend gave his name and car make and he was confused and asked what needed done. My boyfriend said I’m here for an alignment. He asked a ballpark price of how much it would cost and the owner took about a minute to respond “Maybe around $220 or so.” My boyfriend asked if they would call when the car was ready and they said “Yes.” They seemed unegaged with the convo and very disconnected on the scheduled appt. My boyfriend got a call in the afternoon from the woman receptionist, who was a young girl, who was very nice and seemed like the only competent worker with good customer service. She said “He can’t do your alignment because he may scrape your fender.” We asked why were we told the service could be completed over the phone, only to drop the car off and come to find out the techs couldn’t align the car. Not only did they waste my time, my boyfriends time, both of our gas and both of our energy, my boyfriend took off work for this service to be complete. I can’t explain how upset I am with this awful experience and I do not recommend this unprofessional business. Take your money elsewhere and go to a shop that won’t lie to you on the phone about a service they can complete, just to keep your car all day and it get no work done.

These guys saved the day! Had a nail in the rental car tire. They got it patched in and out quick. Very nice staff. Appreciate businesses that still provide good service!

I have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler that would not start due to an ignition problem. They took it in, diagnosed the problem, repaired in a timely manner at a fair price! I highly recommend this shop for service and repairs. I am a repeat customer myself.

I Highly recommend them. They are trustworthy and did not take advantage of me even though I was from out of state. I was driving down to Florida from CT, when the check engine light came on. KM Auto Repair was recommended to me by 2 people. The check engine light had gone off prior to me getting in, but they were able to read the code history. The cost to fix was going to be about $750 dollars. I know enough about mechanics and checked what was a reasonable cost for this repair, so I gave them the ok to fix it. The next day I called and spoke to Lee to see when the truck would be ready. He told me they had cleared the code in the system but after 2 days of driving the truck, he could not get the code to reappear. He said he wasn’t comfortable doing the work if the code wouldn’t come back and it was possible it could have just been a stuck valve that caused the code. He did not charge me for the diagnostics. I have driven 2,500 miles since then and the code has not come back. In addition, typically, I do my own brakes but decided to have them do the rear brakes since I knew it was going to be needed soon. They charged me much less than if I had the dealer do them and they used quality NAPA parts.

I rented a house for a month on Big Pine, as I looked for a vacation home for the future. My out of warranty Audi S3 developed a hum in the right front around Miami-FL area between 65-72 mph. Brought it into these guys. They said it wasn’t a bearing (car only has 45K) or a tire. They didn’t charge me. Drove home to the Minneapolis area (1900 miles) and the noise never came back. My mechanic here couldn’t find anything either.

Stop by today on my way to Key West with a very low tire asked if they could just put some air in the tire to see if it was a slow leak guy told me sorry we're on lunch you'll have to wait 30 minutes 2 guys were standing by the Bay door not willing to help a traveler just really inconsiderate obviously you can tell this guy has no heart. I own a service business I have 15 vehicles I would never bring my car to this guy. This guy really missed an opportunity to help a traveler.

Stay far away from this shop. Lee charged me $2500 to fix my air conditioner and alternator on my old classic Powerwagon. Both the AC and alternator failed 4 times since then in 6 months. Each time I brought it back, Lee would ask for more money and would keep it for weeks. After the 5th time I changed the alternator myself and asked Lee for my money back and he reluctantly gave me a couple hundred back for the alternator but kept his labor and AC money(over $2,000). My AC still doesn’t work and I don’t trust him to touch my truck anymore.

Worst auto repair in all of the Keys!! Spare yourself getting ripped off by these guys and go literally anywhere else. Previous owner was a reasonable guy, new owner not so much. 0/10 do not recommend.

After being charged $192.76 by KM Auto Repair on July 16th to fix a warning engine light on the dashboard of my Ram 1500 truck, I was surprised to see it reappear the next morning. This began a series of no less than five return visits to KM over 3 weeks. And they were lengthy visits. For most of them I left my truck and walked out to US 1 where my wife picked me up. Then at the end of each day, they still didn’t get a around to fixing it. I have been using KM for years, but this visit has left me very disappointed.

I called Lee needing some transmission work done on my truck. I usually do my own repairs but, knowing this was a repair I could not do myself Lee was very friendly and helpful. He was honest about the repairs needed on my vehicle and very knowledgeable and upfront. Being the first mechanic I have ever trusted with my truck, I was not disappointed at all. I will be referring everyone I know in the lower keys to KM Auto!!!! Thank you guys so much!!!!

We are on vacation and have a long drive back tomorrow. We realized we needed our transmission fluid changed (because it was not done properly when we prepared for our trip) my boyfriend called to see if they would be able to help us and the man who answered was very rude. He was extremely short and told us “way to wait last minute” and said he had no availability. Definitely not the way you should talk to costumers.

On vacation and needed an oil change. Didnt know where to go or who to trust, I looked at all their reviews and they have some great reviews. They were super friendly when i called and got me in right away. The day came for me to get my oil done and we lost power in all the keys. Didn't know if it was going to happen, I showed up at 8am and they said we had to wait until power came back on to do it, no big deal figured they would just want to reschedule. Less than 1 hour and half maybe 2 hours top they called and said it was done and ready. Thank you.

I recently moved to Cudjoe Key and have been trying to get an oil change since May, but everyone is so busy and booked out well in advance.. I wanted to stay local. I had almost given up but I called KM (recommended in a few fb groups) one afternoon to see if they had anything available anytime soon. Lee said he could try to work me in the next morning if I could be there when they opened and gave me an estimated cost. They were all super friendly, and very efficient. The office doesn't have much room to wait but it's cool and comfortable. (Easier if you can drop off) The technician was quick and even took the time to check a tire that was a little low, without me even asking. I was on my way in less than an hour. The estimate was very accurate. Great place. Call ahead, but they are definitely the most accommodating I've found.

We were visiting the keys when our ford expedition suddenly stopped while on the seven mile bridge. This could have been disastrous for our vacation but Mark at KM auto was very accommodating and kind to us and our two service dogs. He somehow was able to fit us in to their busy schedule and replace the throttle body quickly while we waited at a local restaurant! We could not recommend anyone more highly! Thank you for salvaging our trip!!

From the first appointment to diagnose the issue, which was also very quick to get in...and to order the needed parts, to the second appointment to repair the vehicle, Lee was courteous, professional and got the job done, and to top that off, the repair was definitely very reasonably priced! Wonderful, kind, hard working folks at this place. They took the time to investigate two tires that had some issues staying inflated and found the tiniest nail in one of them when literally no one else could at several other businesses.
