Had a tow setup thru these guys with aaa and they gave me a 2 hr eta at around 9/10pm. Became 6+ hrs, no show no call. No notice that they canceled my ticket. Only found out once I called in for an update.
Communication is key! Knight’s Towing proved themselves 100%. Ted from Knight’s Towing was the only towing service that answered the phone around midnight, Saturday/Sunday, MLK weekend, 13/14 January 2024. Even my insurance company was unable to contact a towing company that night. We scheduled a next day pick-up so that my friend could return home who drove over an hour to pick me up. Ted met us as scheduled Sunday, 14 January 2024. He responsibly towed the vehicle to an extremely reputable/ knowledgeable mechanic. When the mechanic I used came from out of state to pick up my vehicle may have needed assistance with the downed vehicle, Ted from Knight’s Towing was able, willing, and ready to assist. The mechanic from out of state was unable to answer the phone. Ted contacted me to let me know that he was unable to contact him. Also, Ted was patient with my credit processing to pay the bill. There were no complications. Takes time to input the card information.
Knights Towing helped us out on New Year’s Day. They answered their phone quickly and arrived when they said they would. Ted was so nice and helpful! Definitely recommend and would use again no questions asked.
My daughter had a flat tire from a landscaper loosing some pruners in the middle of the road. Ryan came out and changed her tire with a super fast response time. Can’t say enough about the great service we received.
I can't say enough good things about Knight's Towing. The owner, Ted, is extremely reliable and trustworthy. He comes quickly and won't leave you waiting for hours on the side of the road like many other tow companies. We were stranded in Sarasota at 5:30 in the morning and he was there in no time. The pricing is fair, too! If you need a tow, do yourself a favor and call Knight's Towing!
Our family is grateful to have such a wonderful towing company. We have used Ted multiple times. He has been prompt, courteous and reasonably priced! He has towed my daughter when she was stranded on the side of the exit ramp, it put me at ease knowing Ted was coming to her rescue!!
I had a golf cart that needed returned at a specific time. They arrived at the exact time, were quick and professional. Loaded my Golf Cart with care and returned to the business purchased. Their pricing structure was good, they listened and understood the assignment. They completed the job with no issues. They were professional, customer friendly and my new go to for any future towing needs or vehicle issues.
My car had died while I was at school and the dealership that I bought it from sent Charlie from Knights Towing. I couldn't have asked for anyone better he is truly a God send. Not only did he take us from our location to the nearest auto shop he stayed to make sure that our car got serviced helping when the staff at the auto shop were unhelpful. We did buy a battery from the autoshop but only trusted him to put it in. Out of the kindness of his heart he did replace our battery. If I ever had another vehicle problem I would ask for him specifically. There's not enough stars I could give!
My Tesla died on the road I called Knights towing and they came right away .I was 3 min away from the charge station and they wanted to charge me $175 ! Literally they serviced me picked the car up which didn't even take 60 sec drive up the street 2 min and boom the charge station . Terrible rip off . Will not recommend if you're on a budget. Okay do you guys always work with guns on your employees too ?
I have not had a need to use Knight's Towing but I know Mr. Knight as a fellow business owner. He is a stand up guy and does a lot for our local community. You can choose any towing service but I would choose the one with integrity. I'd have no concern recommending him to anyone.
Ted was extremely helpful and was understanding of my circumstace. Was the only company who actually answered my call for help after normal business hours. He was very reasonably priced, fast pickup and drop off, professional and best of all, good hearted. There aren't enough people like that in this industry.

When my van broke down the the middle of the road during morning traffic, Ryan came to the resue. He and dispatch were kind and considerate throughout the process. They made a high stress situation more manageable. Knight's Towing will be our go and we will refer friends!
Knights Mobile is always available and willing to go above and beyond to help those in need. They spent a few days helping people safely protect their rv's and cars from the incoming hurricane as well as helping people recover their vehicles after. The owner spends endless hours helping the community and the charites that are greatly in need. I would always recommend these gentleman.
Local man and company. Everyone is straight up an they do what they say. I would recommend to anyone in the Palmetto, Bradenton, or Sarasota area. The girls at the desk are awesome and so are all the driver's, and maintenance guys! Thank y'all. Wouldn't call anyone else. Owner is active in the community too. Not just some repo tow guy. Awesome experience every time.
Amazing service. I am four months pregnant and the summer heat is terrible. Our golf cart broke down and we needed a tow. They got there in record time and our tow driver was respectful and kind. I would recommend this company to anyone in need.

I broke down on 75 north bound and sat for 7 and a half hours. Both my roadside services sent out trucks to small to carry my Ram 3500 and no one that could haul my trailer home. All the towing services they sent for me or contacted me didn't have any idea what a gooseneck trailer was. After all that mess I googled towing services and Knights wasn't on the list but it was listed on Google search. I called them they knew exactly what I needed and said they could help. Thwy advised me to call my service and request them which I was happy I did they showed up soon after. I would highly recommend these guys they know what their doing and have very good rates. Thanks alot guys
My truck needed a jump start, I gave them an address which they needed help finding. We were on the phone them trying to find it asking me several questions I really had no answer to because I've only lived here a couple of years. When I asked for the price it took a few times asking for it, when they told me the price. I found someone to jump start my truck. They were only 15 minutes from me and was going to charge $137 plus tax and fuel costs. That's a big no way to expensive for a jump start.
Company name is spot on! Chivalry is alive with this company! Fast and kind proffesionalism from Ted Knight who even diagnosed my car with a knowledge and history of Mechanic experience! It was after hours, and Ted stayed with me after the towing until I was safely picked up by my friend. I can't thank him enough and would not think of calling any other company than Knights for help in the future! So thankful!
I called them to give me a tow after an accident. The woman on the phone quoted me $118, then 5 minutes later it was $225, then 10 minutes later she said $509. Don’t trust these people they are scam artists! I will be filing a complaint with the DPBR.
I was stranded on 75 after a long day and AAA was taking forever. Ted got to me quickly and was so kind. I’m so grateful for his service. Highly recommend calling him before AAA.
I had a flat tire starting at 1am on I-75. After AAA didn't send in my first request for road assistance after an hour and a half of waiting for their call, I called back and they proceeded to tell me it's going to be another 2 hours. It's 3am at this point, and I called Knight's Towing to come change my tire. Ted was there in 30 minutes and had me on the road in 25 minutes. Thanks again, Ted. You were my hero that early morning.
I was stranded in the middle of a 2 lane highway for almost 6hrs and thankfully Ted saved the day After a towing company just "no showed on me". It was getting dark and it was becoming very unsafe. I'm incredibly grateful for this man and his professionalism. He was thorough and followed through on everything he said. I can't thank you enough!
My car battery had just been changed and myself and my family were on our way to do some shopping. My light came on in my Explorer that said "Low Engine Oil Pressure" and my car basically just started to idle and then stop. Immediately turned off the car and began the process of calling AAA, I was going to have to wait over an hour there in the 90 degree heat to have someone come get my car to tow it to our mechanic. I remembered about Knight's Towing and I called them and within less than an hour they were at the location of my car ready to take it there. The best part was I didn't have to wait for them and show my ID like I would have with AAA. They accepted my payment over the phone and they were extremely professional and sympathetic to my situation. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know and will use them again in the future!!!
Knights towed my vehicle (not their fault) but guy was very kind and considerate. Very pleasant on the phone and waited an hour after closing for me to come pick it up. Upon arriving, I noticed that he had covered my broken window with a bag to avoid rain getting in. My tire was flat and he helped change it. Once he put the spare on we realized it was flat as well and he blew it up!! He even jumped my truck to get me back on the road. Note, ALL after he was supposed to leave!! Great person and extremely professional!! I mean I know I am speaking from the wrong side because no one wants their car towed but, I just wanted to share how lucky I am that it was Knights Towing!!!
I was stranded on the highway exit with a dead alternator, blocking traffic at 12:30 in the morning. AAA said they wouldn’t be able to help me for SIXTEEN HOURS; what a joke! I called Knight’s and he picked up the phone immediately and was there for me in FIFTEEN MINUTES. He was kind, courteous, and was gentle with my car. He even made sure I could roll up my windows so I didn’t have to worry about my car all night. I was dreading the cost of such amazing service but when he told me the total, my jaw dropped at his extremely fair price! Do yourself a favor and save the stress by calling Knight’s Towing first!
Charles the mechanic, was able to fix my car quickly, was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I was informed that they charged $99/hr and then was charged $160 for a half hour job. So be careful! Edit: I have photographic proof showing Charles showing up at 5:33pm and being done before 6:00pm
Also $95/hr x 1.5 hours equals $142... so either way you're admitting to having over charged me.
I informed them that I had a dead battery and needed to know if there was something draining the battery. The owner said her would send someone out to diagnose the problem. the tech said I had a dead battery and could not give me a diagnoses because it was dead. Then they wanted to charge me more than double the price for a new battery. I felt like I got scammed, will never use them again
I locked my keys and phone in my car at Wawa and asked a police officer to google and call Nissan roadside assistance for me. They never gave us an ETA and he had to leave. After waiting for 2 hours outside, I asked a Wawa employee if he could help me find another service and we found Knights Mobile Service and the really nice man said he would be there in 30 mins...he got to me within 20 mins and quickly unlocked the door:) Super nice man and very quick!
Wow, my experience with Ted at knight's Mobile service was excellent. He provides quick quality service and is fare and polite. I had him check out (new vehicle purchase inspection) a local sarasota truck at a used Auto dealership, while I was 1500 miles away. He put my nerves at ease dealing with the dealership I didn't trust. He gave a most detailed explanation of good and bad things about the vehicle. Allowing me to feel comfortable with putting a large deposit down and booking a flight to pick it up. Knight is a good choice for mobile mechanic work.
