I had an excellent experience with Sunshine Towing, and especially with the driver Junior. He arrived right on time, was extremely professional, and handled everything with care and precision. The work was clean, efficient, and stress-free from start to finish. It’s rare to find this level of reliability and professionalism—highly recommended.
I Needed roadside assistance through GEICO. That’s how I came across this company and they did nothing for me. Basically they called and told me that they were busy and I would have to wait and they couldn’t tell me how long I would have to wait. This is all after an hour when they were literally supposed to be here already. I would’ve recommend this company to anyone and I have contacted Geico about this experience.
So far I’ve worked with sunshine towing at least 10 times and I’ve always had great experiences working with them. I hope this doesn’t change. Very timely and communicative.
Excellent experience today—go a flat downtown and the service was great. They towed by car to a nearby repair shop. Driver made sure they had what I needed and was courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.
Waited until 8:45 am. I made an appointment the night before. He had to wait- until I was at my car in the parking at 8:45. Not a word of English, but I speak Spanglish. We easily spoke. He was very nice!
Top notch customer service! I was visiting Miami from Virginia and found myself stranded in a parking lot because my automatic gear shifter was getting "stuck" and would not go into Drive mode. I thought I was facing a tow and a serious transmission problem. Called GEICO for roadside assistance and they sent Sunshine Towing.
However, when the tow truck arrived and I explained what was happening, the man (I wish I could remember his name) said "what you're describing sounds more like an issue with the shifter cable, not the transmission itself... Let me take a look." He then got under the vehicle and looked at the mechanism, got out says "yeah, it's definitely the cable, looks like the bushing is worn out... Do you live where it snows a lot?" Haha BINGO. The salty roads had started to corrode the bushing.
He then said, let me try spraying some WD-40 on it to loosen it up... BINGO again! That did the trick! He said "you definitely need to get that replaced, but it doesn't need to happen tonight after hours via tow truck in Miami. You should be fine getting back to Virginia."
What a relief. It was very stressful thinking about how I was going to have to rearrange my travel schedule and extend my hotel stay in order to deal with this, and he fixed it with a little WD-40 and some stellar customer service. Thank you, Sunshine Towing and the awesome employees you have on your staff!

The towing was great. However, the tow person did not speak english. I had to grab a person from the street to translate what he was saying to me. Other than that the experience was very good.
Antonio from sunshine towing came and got me. He was very professional got the whole thing done and took me right where I needed to go and drop me and drop the car right in the spot. The mechanic wanted it in. I couldn’t ask for better service. Antonio was amazing.
I placed a roadside assistance call through my insurance in the evening. After waiting for an hour I found out Sunshine Towing had canceled the call because they couldn't get in touch with me, which was due to lack of service in the area I was stranded in. And I was then told that the driver didn't see my car at arrival, which was impossible because I was there the entire time and was the only car in the area. Which leads me to believe that the driver did not go to the site.
Poor poor experience. When moving the car, a Porshe Carrera, he did not care not to cause additional damage to the car being serviced and I had to alert him twice. At the completion of the service, the towing flat truck driver was very disrectfully to us . He left the car in the entrance of the property for me to push it in. While i was calling dispatcher, he did not request the driver to return to complete the job. Geico was advised for their poor svc. I had used Sunshine years back as personal requests but this is it. I was supposed to sign a document for completing the service and was not given it because he left the premises indicating "you move it, call whoever and do whatever." Me a lady of 72 yrs old. Do you think that was right to do? No no. I had to request help from outsiders to help me push the car in. Thank you Sunshine. I will not use you again or recommend your services to anyone. This was not good customer service.
Got to the car location 20 min prior to the scheduled time. Truck was there and did not want to tow the car. Said the work order was cancelled. Also said he called me a few times 30min early. I did not have a missed call. Overall experience was not the best.
Great experience - the driver was able to get into my locked car in about 30 seconds! I've used their services via Geico on several occasions and they're always great. This is a really good local company. Great customer experience.
Easiest towing company I have used. I have had bad experiences In the past with other towing companies being rude and being rough with my vehicle. This was completely different than any other tow I have had. The driver was attentive, super friendly, AND took care of my vehicle as if it was his own. Even the office staff were very friendly, they made the whole process easy for me and I could not be thank them enough!
Really appreciated the tow after blowing a tire on the palmetto expressway. He arrived exactly at the time estimated I was given, although I wished it could have been sooner because I was very anxious to be stuck on the left breakdown lane. He got me and my car quickly and safely off the expressway even put on the spare tire. Really grateful for the rescue.
The tow truck driver was excellent. 30 minutes before time. Got me home safe and sound! My cars accelerator was stuck on 45mph and would stop.. I had to make a U turn through the car, in park while driving and turned off the key!
