We purchased a two brand new trucks from this company. The long and short is our salesman tried his best to right the wrongs, but even the Jerr Dan factory hasn’t been able to figure out what’s wrong with it. The leadership from truck max was supposed to call me to explain, and Jer Dann themselves had to do it.
I just want the 200,000 truck I purchased brand new to work like it’s supposed to. It has been down more than it’s worked. It just came back from the literal Jerr Dan factory in PA, and it’s still broke. Sadly disappointed.
I understand that you are happy when Google shows your address for the request peterbilt, but you do not have spare parts from this manufacturer. I spent a lot of time to come to you on Saturday and here they told me that you do not have this manufacturer. Now all the others are already closed, and I have to wait until Monday. This is unacceptable
Purchased a couple of trucks from JC @ Truckmax in Miami. Trucks were just as promised! Clean & Polished and on time as promised. In & Out very quick. My guy IVAN is awesome! Had a small problem with 1 of them he answered his phone dang near on the 1st ring we faced time and walked me through the problem. Had me going in less than 10 minutes. I went in order to buy a replacement selanoid, I went with the original parts and showed them, the salesman was very nice but unfortunately gave me 16 VDC replacement parts but unfortunately the original parts worked for 12 VDC.
And the beautiful thing is on the invoice said in red (NO RETURN ON ELECTRICAL PARTS).
I lost my money, my bad for you.

It would be great if they have an ounce of customer service I will take my business somewhere else but buyer beware they dont call you back, they hang up on you, nobody answers the calls. Overall they don't need your business if they cant even pick up the call.

I have a 2014 Isuzu NPR with 200,000 miles on it. My truck broke down on alligator alley and had to be towed back to Ft Lauderdale. Our truck mechanic had truck for three days and couldn’t find the issue. Towed it to Truckmax in Miami and they found the problem in a matter of an hour. The service rep was very professional and pleasant to deal with. They gave me a written estimate and came to a final bill very close to the estimate. I’m in the service business so dealing with a company like this is very important to me and my company. I will probably be buying a new truck after January 1. Thanks Chris and the gang . I’m always updated on the status of my vehicles when I bring them in for service and the team always does a great job maintaining and fixing them. Extremely unprofessional place. They will lie to you about everything. WARNING.Stay away from them unless you want to spend so much time there and not getting your truck fixed. Kevin Orejuela employee over there who first have very poor knowledge of mechanics, and it’s only focus to lying to the customers.
Thieves. Take it in for one thing, and guess what, they will tell you a hundred other things are wrong. And you'll pay no matter what. Once they have your truck, your not getting back until you pay. What a joke. Steer clear of this place
Don’t do ordered service in time. 4 times say next day. 3 day job do 3 weeks. After I picked up my truck. I Loose part of my front bumper 2 miles from service. It fully damaged. Truck Max no responsibility and don’t compensate anything.
Would not purchase anything from here. After flying to Miami to pick up a truck we had a deposit on and was told by our salesman the truck was ready for pick up we arrived in Miami to find that they had no clue who called us and no clue where our paper work had went and so one! Lesson learned always buy from a trust worthy company!
Bought a 2019 wrecker from them and it went great......except 3 months later I still have no registration. They claim I still owe them 1200 for a clerical error on their part. I already paid them an additional $400 for the first mistake they informed me of a week after purchase......not to mention the 70k purchase price of the truck......when I reached out to the general manager I got no response......reached out to the sales person Willie and he told me he would have someone call me back......3 months later I have a wrecker I cant even drive down the road because I have no plates registration or inspection.......
BUYER BEWARE!!!! I just bought a box truck from this company. We drove it straight from the dealership to my office. When we got it to the office we noticed that the hydraulic fluid tank for the lift gate was empty and the cover to protect the tank was missing . The salesman Tim promised the mechanic checked everything and he lied. He put in writing to bring the truck in and they would take care of it. Now he is saying that we should have checked it and they will not back it up. Its sad that they did not even give us the truck with the proper fluids. Now the unethical salesman is washing his hands. I would recommend not to use this company who does not care about their customers.
Update:
After 4 months owning the truck it has broken down twice. I took the truck to them and they gave me a bill for 10,000.00 to fix the problem. The mechanic in the shop told me that there are problems on the truck that were not checked by them when they received the truck. We were not going to pay that and picked up the truck today. On the way back to our office it was raining and the roof was leaking terrible. I emailed the sales rep. and he said it was out of his hands. I now am stuck with a truck that does not run and is leaking. I was sold a complete lemon. Do not buy from this unethical company.
Purchased a truck all the way in Australia. Jorge Alvarez provided a great service and made the process a whole lot easier. Smooth sailing from start to finish even whilst he was sick in hospital he still managed to help me. Very happy customer!!!!! Wouldn't have been able to do it with out him.

Brought the truck in for repair, $260 later for "diagnostics discounted " fee and 6 days lost taking my truck to other shop. Told the shop its a water pump when brought the truck in. Called my local Volvo dealer to check if the fee was reasonable and was told for water pump no more than $130 for diagnostics.Just horrible customer service. STAY AWAY
I bought a 2012 ford F450 self-loader. listing as Brand New Diesel Engine Dealer Installed, (that what the add say )
When I received the TOW TRUCK the controls on the driver's side didn't work at all,
The driver side headlight also didn't work
The running light wasn't working because one of the cables was burned. I took the tow truck for a drive and I knew that the truck was shaking and swerve really bad,
I call Danny Shelow and told him about the issue and he says the truck drives perfectly and try to blame the transporter,
I asked Danny Shelow to send me the engine replacement papers, which had been changed in the Ford Dealer. AND STILL WAITING FOR THE PAPERWORK
I was thinking that i was getting a reliable Tow Truck. because i bought from a Tow Truck Dealer, what i got was a headache with all the issues. really
disappointed with the Tow Truck Purchase.
