I called them for a jump start after finding my car battery dead due to a dome light being left on. Another towing company had tried to scam me out of hundreds of dollars by saying my battery was bad and they needed to tow it. I called Alpine because I knew that wasn’t true & their service team was so fast, professional and kind. Rico came, jumped my car and let it charge for a couple minutes to make sure it was ok. I was on the road within an hour of my call.
Paid for parking in front of a “PayByPhone” sign which was $20 for 2 hours. I walked outside and was being towed stating that it was a “reserved parking lot.” This company does whatever they want and blatantly steals from people. The drivers need to learn English or learn how to read considering reading a sign should be in the job description.
Horrible company they were contracted through Geico to come and get my car which had broken down from overheating. They originally said an hour and a half at 8:30 9:45 I got a message. I’ll be there at 10:30 1030 came to when I called again then they said they would be there by 11:15 then I called again and they said well they’re on the Sawgrass Expressway. They’ll be there in 40 minutes, I was there till midnight almost 830. The sad part is I expressed to them and I was being honest and I have COPD and emphysema and I was having difficulties breathing. I didn’t need 911 or ambulance but the Florida heat and the thickness of the humidity made it very difficult to breathe and I couldn’t run my car because it had overheated , they weren’t rude on the phone but not good business practice. I hope somebody in their families get really sick like I was and gets hospitalized. Maybe they’ll learn the lesson. I’ve noticed they never respond to anybody’s comments because they don’t care .. bad company. They are company from a Third World.
A good Samaritan finally came to my rescue and brought me a couple of gallons of water and I had to stop five times to get my car to where it had to go. Any followed me. God bless this man a Geico will get a letter that they should not have a contract With these scam artists because they’re poor business people
If I could give this company zero stars I would… Absolutely awful, And I am completely shocked that this is a company that is contracted through my Geico insurance. I waited over 4 1/2 hours for this tow truck to come get me and my car after getting stuck on the side of the road… They were supposed to come in 75 minutes, but they kept giving different excuses.
After waiting 4 1/2 hours, I called them again and double check to make sure that they were bringing the proper tow truck… I made it very clear that my car did not shift into gears and they could not send a flatbed truck… Well, guess what they sent the wrong tow truck And had to cancel the entire service request . So I waited 4.5 hours for NOTHING. what a terrible company !!!!!!!!!
I called another tow truck company and they came in 20 min and did the job with the right tow truck .

PSA - should you need you car towed your better of trying to literally push it to your destination yourself than calling Alpine towing. We contacted Alpine the through insurance at -12:55 AM on a Sunday night. We’re we’re originally quoted a 75 minute wait time but at 1:30 AM ewe received a call letting us know dispatch was 20 minutes away. Due to the time of night we were instructed to leave the car unlocked with the keys inside if we couldn’t stay but the car and then after that we heard from no one for the next HOUR, it’s now 2:30 in the morning and 3 difference customer service vehicles have quoted you different wait times and they’re being extremely unhelpful and won’t put you in
contact with the driver. It wasn’t until I threatened to call cops that I get a real update my car is on the way. I was quoted another bogus time frame and I’m only now JUST receiving my car at 4:45 in the morning. God forbid I was waiting by my car and had to stay in the middle of nowhere with no other options. This company had horrible communication and customer service and it felt like they were setting us up to have our car stolen. 0/10 experience.
Customer service is amazing and they always keep you up to date with ETAs. They may take a while go get there but there are reliable. If you ever need a tow truck use ALPINE
be very careful and don't provide a credit card auth. form. Someone will order food at dominos pizza on his way home and order stuff for his car. i had to dispute the transactions and it was proven that someone from alpine towing caused the fraud. i asked them to give me a call related to this matter but they avoided every way of contact..ridiculous
3/9/24: What a joke this place is. They left 2 women 1 being disabled stranded for 6 hours without so much as a text. We got home on our own. Thank God for the kindness of strangers. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. WORST BUSINESS EVER!!!!
Don’t park near sloans ice cream. As soon as you walk away they pull up and hook onto your vehicle. While I took an uber they pulled up and grabbed three more. It’s just a big money grab beware.

He did his job with a smile and never gave the impression of being frustrated in a difficult situation of getting my car out a zero clearance garage. Very poor customer service. Unprofessional tone and they made me feel like I was bothering them, like dudes, I’m trying to give you my business. I had asked for details on getting my car towed and when I said okay I’ll call you right back to get approval from my building, they just hung up and didn’t even say bye. Just *click*. Ruined my day talking to these clowns.
Best service I ever had, the service was send by GEICO. I was supposed to wait an hour but it wasn’t like that. Andy came in 45 minutes. He offered me to be in his truck because it was raining, and it was very hot. He took care of my truck very well. He brought me home and he helped me to park my car. I rate this company with 5 but If I could give more I will. Thank you so much for helping me after a very long day. Thank you so much
Was stuck on the highway at 4 am and needed a tow. My car insurance company set up to have Alpine tow me. The first time I called a lady, who was actually nice, told me they needed to find a driver and it could be an hour. Okay, no problem. I called about 40 mins later and spoke to a guy who said it would be 30 mins. Called after 30 mins requesting an update, same thing another 30 mins. Called again at 6:54, this time a man named Orlando rudely says its 7am there's traffic and the driver will be there in 20 mins, he even gave me a driver's name Jose. Afterwards, they just stopped answering my phone calls, had someone else call for me. A lady answered and said they don't have an eta or driver yet.
At that point, I called my insurance, and they said we can reimburse you if you find your own tow. Superior towing was able to reach me in less than 20 mins at 8am when I was originally told it could be 30-40 mins.
Everyone do yourself a favor and never use Alpine. From other reviews, I see that they do this often. They allow stranded customers to wait over 3 hours, no call, no shows. If your insurance partners with them, decline and use someone else and get reimbursed. You will save yourself time and possibly save your life. Waiting over 3 hours stranded on the highway with cars speeding inches away going 80 miles per hour is extremely stressful.
I was stuck on the Turnpike 2 days ago when my car suddenly stopped. I called my insurance company for roadside assistance around 7pm. I was assigned Alpine Towing as the provider that would be helping me. Initially they would get there around 8:18pm, I called them at the number that was provided by text and by my insurance company and there was no answer, I called back to back several times and still nothing. I called my insurance company to see if they could get a hold of them, they said they didn't have my location and once again that was provided to them. I was told someone was on the way and it should be about 30min. 30min. came and went and no tow truck in sight. I called again several times and finally someone answered I told them my situation and they asked me what car was it, as soon as I said which car, they hung up on me. I called back and no answer once again. I called and called. I called my insurance company again it's now almost 9:30pm, and I was told that Alpine informed my insurance company that the driver had just finished a drop off and would be there in 10 minutes. 10 minutes passed, 20 minutes passed, I call again and again and again now answer, I call my insurance company once more and now they said the driver was stuck in traffic on the turnpike, there was absolutely no traffic at this time. Its 10pm now and I get a call from the driver telling me he needs my exact address because he doesn't have my location. I was furious at this point because how many times do I need to tell these people , the exact location of where I am at on the turnpike. He proceeded to tell me that I needed to calm down which made me even more upset, because he didn't even apologize for the fact that I had been waiting 3hrs for them. I told him I wasn't going to leave with him and he was not taking my car anywhere. I refuse for my insurance company to pay a company with no professionalism what so ever. If you need to tow your car and want to waste hours of your life away waiting for them to come call them if not call ANY other tow company. If you have roadside assistance whether with your insurance company or AAA and this is the assigned provider, cancel the request and do it again so they can send a different company. Worst Experience Ever.
I have been waiting for 5+hours every time I call them and ask for the eta they put me on hold then hang up my calls multiple times . Extremely unprofessional and do not recommend anyone use this towing service. The dispatcher even made a joke saying that the driver can’t fly over here .
Alpine towing got the job done when I found myself with a dead battery while visiting Miami with my family. However, it was not easy to facilitate my location to their driver, has he barely spoke any English. I tried to convey it through their dispatch as well as through my wife. It ended up taking almost twice as long for their truck to arrive at my location then it would have. Slightly frustrating but effective in the end.
Would love to know how the hiring process works and how they manage to find the rudest most incompetent employees to work for them. Not only was my car towed illegally (I filed a police report), but when I attempted to locate it and pick it up the agent over the phone said they open at 7am, despite signs, google and their automated voicemail saying they are opened 24/7. Then the employee refuse to give me the address and hung up, every-time I kept calling back they would hang up. I called the cops to file a report and that’s how I was told where they had taken it. The police officer advised me to still show up either way because someone MUST be there at all times. When I showed up at 1am, 2 employees were there and told me they couldn’t do anything because the office person was not there. Only took for me to say I will call the cops once again for them to all of the sudden be able to release the car and for those two employees to be trained on how to do the office paperwork.
These tow companies are predators! According to the police, someone must be there 24/7 to give you access to your vehicle. And if you show up and they’re not there, call the cops and they will get fined! The minute the supervisor was told I was calling the police, all of the sudden there was no problem releasing my car. What a joke of a company!!!
This company is zero reliable. I called Land Rover RoadSide Assistance that assigned my car at I95 highway to them. After 2hours and 30 minutes and after sending two wrong trucks to tow away the car that had locked wheels the company simply told me that they could not do the service. They went further to tell Land Rover that I was not on the site. So it is unreliable and untrustworthy, besides being managed by people that lie without any concern. If you ever read this NEVER use this Alpine Towing company. Pictures are there to prove their incompetence taken by myself.
The driver (sorry can't remember his name) was very professional. He called me on his way which his time of arrival was accurate not the dispatch. Called when close too. He was able to tow my car even though the brakes were locked and the delivery was perfect !!
They don’t even deserve 1 star. They are that bad. They lie and say they are 30 min away and then when 30min hits and they still aren’t there they say they are 30min away they did this 4 times with me after missing their ETA by an hour so we waited 2.5 hours more then what they told us. They picked up my car had it for 3.5 hours now and they still have not dropped it off. I have no clue what they have done in that time but the place they were supposed to bring my car was only 45min away. Stay away from this place!!
The guy was nice, however, he did not know how to get my car in neutral being I had an issue with the key ignition. I googled how to get it in neutral and showed him video when he asked to view it. I would think a tow truck driver would be knowledgeable of this issue.
Don’t call this company for your towing. Worst company and customer service. I was on the highway for 2.5 hours, my insurance company called them to assist me to tow my car, waited about 2.5 hours and they never showed up. I ended up calling them and they told me that they canceled the service as they didn’t find me the highway. The driver didn’t have the common sense to call me to ask where on the highway I was waiting even though I provided them my exact location. No courtesy what’s so ever. Don’t waste your time and money. Will never ever use them.
They did a great job! In fact they fixed my vehicle. I am so glad I called them. The guy was super knowledgeable and did not just tow, he looked at the thing first to make sure there was not an easy fix. I would call them again anytime. Plus their price was great too!
Geico sent Alpine to tow my car to the dealer and they never showed up. When I called them to get an ETA the gentleman on the phone was so rude and unprofessional. I notified Geico right away and they sent another company to tow my car. Alpine customer service really sucks no class no manners no hospitality at all. Good luck to those that get involved with Alpine.
Joel is the best and came in to save the day!!!!!!! (3/21/2021) Had a car immobilized on the 4th floor of a parking Garage. I tell you my situation had 6 or 7 very difficult obstacles from from having a front wheel drive parked facing forward and not being able to turn on my car, to getting out of a super small Parking garage, he did an amazing job. He didn't ask me to write this review, I wanted to because we got through every challenge and now the car is at the shop getting worked on. What a challenging monday, but so thankful that the car was able to get towed safety. Definitely recommend Joel and Alpine towing.
