I typically do not leave reviews however, my recent experience with this Interstate Battery location was disappointing.
On 12/9, I called to confirm whether my battery was still under warranty and to bring my vehicle in for the replacement to be installed. The employee I spoke with (I believe his name was Javier, possibly the manager) confirmed that my battery was still covered under the three year warranty and did not mention any restrictions regarding vehicle make or installation.
The following business day, I drove from the beach to Miami Gardens to have the battery replaced. Upon arrival, I was informed by the same employee that they do not perform battery installations or removals for Volkswagen or Volvo vehicles. He stated they do NOT touch these makes of cars. This information was not communicated during my phone call and would have been essential to know prior to making the drive. Additionally, a younger employee had already interacted with my vehicle to test the battery, which made the policy seem inconsistent.
When I purchased the battery in 2023, installation assistance was part of the service, which is why I chose Interstate Battery. I attempted to discuss possible solutions, such as allowing me to pay the core charge temporarily and return the old battery after replacement, but the manager was unwilling to work with me on any alternative and questioned whether I would return the old battery, an unnecessary and unprofessional accusation.
As someone originally from Texas , I explained that this accommodation has been a practice at Interstate locations in Texas, but that was dismissed.
Ultimately, I left without a resolution and removed the battery myself from my car.
On 12/17, I returned to exchange the old battery under warranty and retrieve the new one. I was assisted by the same Employee. (Manager). While the transaction was completed, the interaction was unpleasant. Although I remained polite and thanked the employee for his assistance, he responded curtly, explained the receipt in a condescending manner, and walked away. The employee lacked basic customer service skills and professionalism. While I understand customer service standards may vary by location, this experience fell well below expectations and does not reflect the level of service I have received at other Interstate Battery locations. Unfortunately, due to these interactions, I would not recommend this location. 0/5 stars. This location should reconsider who they have representing their establishment.

Location on Tuesday 12/10/24 at around 12:15pm he is absolutely rude, I walked in there because my used battery that was purchased from them less then 30 days ago stopped working I had to call triple A to get a jump and they informed me the battery life is at 48% so I drove it straight to Interstate Batteries to have it replaced. The guy looks up the account tells me oh you have a used battery umm nooooo you don’t say I thought to myself while I said yes, he then asked me if I had pulled it out no I didn’t I work in the medical field and I don’t own any tools and im not a women who wants to do car stuff so it’s still in the car once again I thought to myself as I said no I didn’t pull it out so he says oh the warranty doesn’t cover to pull it out. Like wow you as a man sees a women walk in alone and you really are so cold hearted to sit there and not just out the kindness of your heart think yo yourself let me help this women out right quick, he didn’t even have one customer in the store just me. I was so pissed off he came to check what battery I had and I just left cause what’s the point I can’t take the battery out myself. So I will drive home and take my man’s car and when he gets back home from traveling for his work he can go and have the battery replaced I’d rather not deal with it because I can be real Nady and disrespectful to people like this individual. Sorry for the long crazy rant I’m just so disappointed in humans who are like that. I interrupted whatever he was doing on his personal phone and I guess he was bothered that now he has to work
I called Sr. Javier (very nice), because I needed a battery for an APC battery backup. It was delivered right away by a super sweet gentleman and at a great price!
Best place to get any batteries you might need, no matter how rare the battery is. They have not only Car, Truck, or any other type of vehicle battery, but they also have device batteries: Alkaline, Lithium, and Rechargeable batteries. They also sell flashlights, inverters, and other items. Conveniently located on NW 57th Avenue right off the Palmetto Expressway (State Road 826).
When I need a Battery I will go to All Battery Center. They will tell the right Battery. I use them for my cars and my boat. And if somebody asked me about batteries, I will send them to all Interstate battery center.

Was the worst retail service experience in my life. The workers are unhappy to be there and it almost looks like they look forward to telling the customers they can't help them. The experience was so bad I'm second guessing ever buying one of their products again.
An outstanding battery! By far the most reliable brand! As a single woman I need a Battery I can depend on and the Interstate is buy far the BEST ! Thank God I found this shop and there service is great won’t go anywhere else!
Battery problem was solved and the service was outstanding! Employees went out of the way to help me fix the problem in a timely matter. Definitely will be returning for business.
This is the only place, that I go, to buy my batteries, for my automobiles. Interstate batteries last forever. If you maintain them well. They are pricey, but well worth it. Customer care service here, is unbelievable. Management, it's top of the line. You can come and simply buy a battery, and take it away. Or you can bring the vehicle, and they will help to install it in your vehicle. They do except, old battery cores, in order to receive your deposit back.. disability parking, is available in the front of this store. You can ask for, extended warranty. Good luck getting your battery warrantied. Does not stick behind their product. $300 battery with 3 year warranty goes bad within a year should not be such a hassle to warranty. Telling me to take it to the warehouse on sample rd. That they will test it and see it is bad and warranty it is unacceptable. I bought it here, the transaction is in your computer. You should warranty it. Bought a new battery elsewhere. Lesson learned and starting problem solved.
