I'm so grateful for Taylors I was worried about finding honest reliable mechanic until I found them. They are honest, fair pricing and they get the job done when they say they're going to A+.

1st time there, was for an A/C leak repair estimate. Very nice, seemed willing to help. Most likely will have them do the necessary repairs. I will let you know in a follow up. Only reason I gave 3 stars so far.

I brought my Corvette to then for alignment after I noticed that it wasn't handling well and clunked when I shifted. I found the problem and took it back to the only to get argument from the owner.I was not in good health at the time and lost my patience they charged me a lot of money and did a very shoddy job..I won't be going back there.

Taylor’s is a preferred installer of Jasper Engines and Transmission. They can offer you a 3 year or 100,000 miles transferable, nationwide parts and labor warranty if you need a replacement engine, transmission or differential. Very honest and knowledgeable staff. You can feel comfortable taking your car to them.

I came to Taylors Garage to have a wheel bearing and hub pressed out and back in, after I failed with my own press. Staff was friendly, and willing to except my work after a few shops had rejected it(due to steering knuckle being off the car.). The price was very fair, and even though they had a lot full of cars, they still completed my work within the day. I will be recommending in future, and should I have work I can’t complete myself will very likely go back to them.

We took out 2016 Lincoln MKC in after Ford Lincoln told me I needed a new engine. They replaced the fuel injector and gave me a full tune up and said no engine replacement needed. Great service, great news and 2 day return instead of 9 weeks and $10,000. Thanks.

Get ready this is gunna be long. Last year I was impressed with the work done on an issue I had with my steering column. Due to that great experience I trusted in them. Fast forward 6months (January of 2019) I brought in the car due to a noise that became persistent. They stated I needed shocks, struts and my right wheel bearing replaced. Okay done. 2 weeks after the job the noise began once again. This time not persistent. But same noise. I immediately contacted (m****) to inform them of the noise. I brought it back in for them to re-inspect just for them to say they couldn't get the car to make any noise. Weeks had gone by and the noise became more persistent. Brought it back, this time being told they noticed something was loose, so they tightened it. Upon driving home (which is 45min from this place) it began doing it again. Next visit I brought it in, they told me nothing was wrong and that its safe to drive. This goes on for about 4 months. The noise was still there, I was told via phone by (m****) "sometimes cars get old and just make noise that doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong". So at this point I accept the fact that maybe my car is just getting old. (2012). I wait another month and I asked since the parts are under warranty for 12mo can we just order new parts and redo the work. They told me to bring the vehicle in for them to look at, upon doing so..you guessed it, once again I was told nothing was wrong with it. Okay at this point I expedited everything I could to give them the opportunity to repair my car and make things right. Fast forward a month, here we are (june 2019) I stopped by Taylors and drove with Mr. taylor himself and pinpointed the noise to ensure he heard what I heard. (Very obnoxious clunking noise) he agreed he heard it. I had asked him what he thought it was and he immediately stated "oh I don't think it's any of the work we previously did." He said I could leave it there over the weekend but he wouldn't get to look at it until monday. This was the last straw. I decide to bring it somewhere else for a second opinion. I did not tell the second mechanic of the previous work that was done, I simply stated the noise that was progressively getting worse. They discovered BOTH of my wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Keep in mind Taylors Garage had only replaced my right one 6 months ago. I went ahead with the work. Would you know not a single noise has been present and the car rides smoother than ever. I called taylors again to inform them of this issue and out of the 1500 I asked only for $160 back to cover the loss of the right wheel bearing. I was told I couldn't get a refund unless I had the wheel bearing to give back to them. So here we go, I call the second mechanic and asked if they still had the bearing and he informed me when they removed it; it broke and fell apart. They couldn't salvage it so they didn't ask if I wanted it. Quite honestly I didn't think I'd need it. So I call taylors back to inform them I can't get the part to them to be told then I get no refund. She infact stated they would have looked into it if I gave them the chance! I'm sorry but I gave them 6 months of a chance. I called and dropped my car off at least a dozen times. I communicated every concern I had every single time. After all of this hassle they couldn't give me my money back on a faulty part. I seriously doubt that they even put a new wheel bearing on my car. Why else would they casually decline to replace it when I specifically asked to replace it since it was under warranty. All I wanted was for my car to be fixed. Yes I may be a woman but I know my car better than anyone. I would avoid this place at all costs. I will be reporting them to the BBB because this is absolutely uncalled for. I feel completely cheated and taken advantage of. I hope they enjoy the loss of what $160 is going to do to them.

Initially i was very impressed with this place and used it to service my vehicle multiple times. They are a fairly small and very knowledgeable establishment, and they know it. Prices are considerably steep but I have lived by the phrase,' you get what you pay for'. UNTIL my last visit. I had my my car towed in by my insurance with roadside assistance because it would no longer start, and they diagnosed it as a distributor issue. They fixed the problem, but after receiving my vehicle back, the steering wheel was about 15-20 degrees off center. I also noticed when looking at the distributor work that one of the plugs was barely attached, and upon further inspection i pulled the sleeve off and became aware that the clip that attaches the wire to the distributor end was still on the distributor with the wire not even attached to the clip! I guess you don't always get what you pay for.... Regarding the off-center steering, the shop stated they did nothing with the alignment and that the reason for this issue was likely caused by the tow truck. The lower control arm had been pulled out of place by the strain put on it in the process of pulling my car up the flatbed ramp. After making a claim with my insurance company regarding this issue and leaving Taylor's as a main contact, they basically torpedoed the claim by stating that the likely cause for the bad lower control arm bushing was poor maintenance based on a small accrual of oil that had accumulated on the bushing over a long period of time. I found this HIGHLY UNLIKELY, since the bushing had been working perfectly fine before the tow truck service, and was ruined after. Lucky for me I found a decent priced replacement part and was able to replace it myself. The point is, had they not assumed that the oil buildup was the cause, the insurance would have been liable for its damage and THEY would have had the benefit of profiting for servicing it. BE CERTAIN you inspect you vehicle before and after you get work done here. Just because it costs a lot does NOT mean it is always done right. Sorry to make a poor review, because initially I was quite satisfied with this establishment.
