Horrible customer service. Manager Eljay was annoyed that I didn’t know what size motor I had off hand. Rather than thinking of a solution to help me he belittled me with my lack of knowledge. I asked could that be looked up by the VIN. His response was reassuring he did not want to help. Thankfully autozone down the street had everything I needed and just earned my $286 purchase.

This review is written as a way to say thank you to Kerwin and David at Advance Auto Parts (Parrish, FL) These two are a true gentleman duo. Kerwin and David were incredibly helpful with our car problems (double battery issues), taking the time to listen, diagnose, and walk us through the best solutions (battery replacement/finding warranty paperwork). Their professionalism and courtesy made a stressful situation much easier. Highly recommended.

Auto parts have gotten more expensive since the economy has changed. Parts that have cost $50 in the recent past are now close to $100 and it's not just one place - it's everywhere. The same with petroleum products - a quart of conventional oil used to be under 5 bucks and now it double that. Customer service can be hit or miss as the employee turnover changes. I shop there because they are the closest.

Great customer service. I needed a specific oil that they did not think they had, after I hung up I received a callback within minutes letting me know what I urgently needed they had. When I went in everyone was very helpful and accommodating. I will be using g this as my auto parts store!

Not sure who usually picks up the phone , but the few times I’ve called over the last 2 months, i always speak with someone who is a bit rude, vey short and doesn’t really seem to want to help. Even when i came in to store, very uninviting , no greeting. I believe it was the store manager who was the only one seemed willing to help. They either just hate their job or only cater to certain type of people.

Just had an awesome experience with MIckey. My battery was dead after being away for a week and I jumped it and drove it over to test. He said the tests came out normal and I should just let it charge. I plan on doing so and charging it myself overnight. What great, friendly service. When I do need that battery I will be sure to return here to purchase it!!

AWESOME! I HAVE BEEN TO MANY AUTO PARTS STORE IN MY LIFE BUT NONE LIKE ADVANCE AUTO IN PARISH. I ORIGINALLY CALLED TO SEE IF THEY HAD WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. KEN ANSWERED AND WAS EXTREMELY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. THEN I GET TO THE STORE AND KEN TOLD BRUCE BEFORE I ASKED WHAT I NEEDED WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND BOTH PROCEEDED TO HELP! THESE 2 GENTLEMAN IS WHAT IS NEEDED IN THE WORLD THESE DAYS KIND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Called about a window regulator. They said they had one. I went to pick it up and spoke to the clerk. I said I only really needed the regulator and not the complete assembly with the motor that he said he had on hand. The clerk checked and said that they didn't have one and would have to order it. I needed to get this for my daughter's van so I could get it fixed so decided to take the part. After getting the part installed I didn't see a motor that was supposed to come with the kit. Since I wasn't about to uninstall the whole thing and take it back I put the old motor on that worked fine and figured I would call the store back later about it. Fast forward to this afternoon, I check the box, and then do a part lookup on their website. It says regulator without motor. I check the receipt, the part number's don't match. The part that wasn't supposedly there was what they gave me but, they charged me for a different part. I called the store and was basically told that they can't help me unless I uninstall the window regulator and bring it in for a return. Seriously? You're just going to give it back to me and charge me for the correct part aren't you? Or am I missing something. I have reached out to their corporate customer care to have the issue resolved. Be wary of what they give you as it looks like the clerks their have little training and don't know how to check the box to make sure they are giving you the right part. The part number I was charged for was 748-509 which is on the receipt. The actual part I got was 748-509 which was on the box. But according to the clerk, they didn't have any regulator's without a motor. Wondering if inventory management is not something they do here. I will not use this store in the future and I recommend anyone else to find another store as well.

I've been to this advanced auto parts store a hand full of times and the experience has always been mixed.. the time prior to this last time the employees was awkward and normally at a auto parts store the employee is constantly helping you out even if you are needing help with your car and the employees here wasn't like that.. well this past experience was a bit different.. the gentleman who helped me was very kind but wasn't quite understanding my question.. once he understood he was quick to help me and get the item I was looking for but he answered my questions kinda sarcastically.. I'm not sure if this is who he is but it made the experience kinda awkward.. so id recommend going to auto zone if possible because the employees here seem like they don't really enjoy helping customers..

Had an excellent experience with Joseph this afternoon. He was personable, kind, and incredibly helpful with my truck's battery warranty replacement. If everyone treated each other the way Joseph treated me, we would have peace on earth. Will definitely be back, even if I have to go out of my way to come here vs anywhere else for my auto needs.

Company not once but twice gave me wrong brake pads. First stayed up until 10:00 at night getting bitten by mosquitoes all night only to realize at the last second the brake pads are too big went back the next day got the correct pads swore up and down they were right only realize they're too thick I'm not certain if it's a lack of training or issues with their system but I'm never doing business with them again

I replaced my husband’s battery but the posts were coming off very easily. We decided to go to Advance Auto Parts to see if there was something to safely keep them in place. David the salesman told us it’s a common issue with Nissans, then he kindly asked us if he could take a look and he may know how to help. We are so grateful for David for fixing his battery posts. Truly the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable about car maintenance/repairs.

Came in for windshield wiper blades, Amber helped me immediately finding what ones I needed for my car, giving me all possible options! She also assisted me with installing them and went above & beyond! The store was clean and organized and the employees were very helpful and friendly!

Honest, reliable and extremely helpful! I thought I was needing a new car battery, before trying to make a profit off of me, they tested my battery and fixed the actual issue which was simple. They didn't try to rip me off but located the exact issue right away, tightened the screw checked to make sure the issue was resolved and I was on my way- Thank you!!!

I needed a battery fast for my 2000 Ford Mustang. My neighbor recommended Advance Auto Parts in Parrish-less than a mile from my house. They had my battery in stock, installed it and I was good to go in just a few minutes. JL was very professional, kind and helpful. He even helped me with my emergency brake. I highly recommend-Thanks!

I needed a new battery. I called and was told no appt needed. I arrived and 5 employees. Only one with a customer. So was greeted by one of the employees and after telling him I needed a battery he pointed to the 1 employee with a customer. Was told he would help me when he was done with his current customer. Which was taking a while. So after standing around for 10 minutes or so, employee "Phil" noticed me and asked if I'd been helped. I explained I'd been told to wait on the employee who was still with a customer. Phil then took great care of me, helping me purchase the battery and then he installed it himself. So 5 stars for Phil, and zero stars for the other 3 guys with no customers who preferred to let me stand & wait rather than sell and install my battery. Thus a 3 star rating.
