Always a bad experience when you're in traffic with lake jackson towing. Passing on double lines, riding inches off people's bumper, just so aggressive. Danger to other drivers.
Greg is awesome! I happened to have a flat tire and pulled off to the gas station where the tire entirely deflated - and suddenly as I’m so bummed a towing truck just pulls into the gas station right in front of us. I knocked on the door and asked if he had time to tow me down the street and he said yes actually I have about 45 min til my next job and was just gonna sit and wait here til then. I called the business and they gave me a good deal which cost me significantly less than going through my insurance and paying the extra Distances. I was so grateful they were able to accommodate us and happened to just be perfect timing. Then the best part was Greg, he has such an awesome personality and made the entire experience enjoyable. Thank you again for your excellent service!
Great customer service! I broke down in Sonny’s BBQ drive thru. How embarrassing! Lake Jackson Towing was there in about 20 minutes to tow my truck to a garage. Then they were kind enough to drop me at home. Friendly and reliable family-owned business!
I own a racing shop and a restoration shop, lake Jackson towing came out today and moved two cars from Tallahassee to crawfordville, the driver took some time out to help my technician push and tug and pull on cars until they got them all lined up, this company is one of the best I've ever used, FYI I've been in business since 1982
I drove my little car so deep n the mud, even the mud thought it was funny. I called Lake Jackson Towing and Adrian got here in less than a half hour and he knew more about what my car had in the trunk to help the situation then I did! Plus, he brought his assistant who helped lift my spirits because I was very late to work. I’d call them again in a flash. Really outstanding service.
This place is the best! I'm an elderly widow and I lost my key fob. I had to get my van towed to the dealer. It was locked. The brake was on. They came out, got my car unlocked by sending someone out with a kit to pop the lock (which took a while) then carefully loaded the van on the flatbed. They had to wait until the van was received to place it where the dealer wanted it. They did not charge anymore than their original quote which was priced lower than the other tow services I had called.
The driver was so warm and kind. I would recommend Lake Jackson Towing to everyone!
They get 5 stars because they didn’t have to come out on a Sunday but they did and got my truck running. The dispatch lady was patient I will definitely recommend them. Also the guys that came were cool

I had a map sensor that failed and needed a tow…a tow truck came in less than 20 minutes and the driver , Jacob was very cool. My car is pretty low to the ground and he took extra care in lifting the car to not damage my front bumper or my intercooler.. hands down my best experience with a towing company. Thank you lake Jackson towing. Jacob deserves a raise!

Got a flat on I-10 and AAA apparently doesn’t do weekends. Called these wonderful folks and Ms. Sheila was so kind and had someone on the way immediately. Randall had my spare on in minutes and escorted us to the nearest exit to make sure we were safely off the interstate. I recommend 110%!!!
Lake Jackson towing saved our Easter weekend when AAA and Five Star towing left us stranded on the side of Monroe street for 24 hours on Easter weekend!! In under 10 minutes since Randall pulled his truck up to our car, he had us on the way to enjoying our weekend! We can’t say enough good things about them and the amazing customer service from Miss Sheila! Excellent local family run business!
My rather large 5th wheel camper broke and axle, I had hired another company to move it but that company turned out to be unreliable. I called Jackson Lake Towing and they figured out a way to move it at least 30 miles safely and on the same day I called them. I will definitely use them again if I am in the area and need towing services. Very friendly and kept me up to date on the status of my camper and charged me a very reasonable rate.
Our 24ft Motorhome broke down 4 hours and 30mins (about 280 miles) away from our destination, after calling nearly every towing company in the area only lake Jackson towing was willing to make the long drive. The operator answered the phone everytime no matter what hour and was able to set us up and provide information the entire time. When it came time to tow, they hooked our RV up nice and secure and was extremely friendly and professional the entire trip. Even after we reached our destination they gave us a jump start and offered to help in any way to get our motorhome in its spot at the park. This was the best expierence I've ever had with a towing company and I highly recommend them. I would've never made it home without this company
I was involved in a traffic accident and they towed my car. It’s the weekend and they are closed but Mrs. Sheila called me back and set a time for me to pick up my things from my car. Everyone I have spoken with has been helpful and kind towards me and no one spoke with any sort of tone and was not disrespectful in any way form or fashion. Would highly recommend them.
The call operator was very friendly. It was New Year's Night, and they were like the only towing service open. Gary and Robbie was very helpful, friendly, and down to Earth. Got a car stuck on a stump, and they got it right out no problem. I will look to use this business first in the future!
Yesterday my car broke down on the side of the road and I could not reach my husband so my kids and I were stranded, fortunately Lake Jackson Towing was able to reach me in an very speedy manner and even stayed with us until my husband was able to get us. Very fast friendly and professional! Will be using them for all future needs.
From personal experience I would not recommend using Lake Jackson Towing as they truly do not understand customer service. After LJT billed my company incorrectly for services never rendered or requested, I called to speak with someone regarding the mistake on Invoicing. I was transferred to a Lady named AMY HICKS who answered rudely when I asked for details on the invoice like who and why they were billing us, As if inconvenient to her. I was curious because we did not authorize the tow and do not usually use this company. She made rude comments and interrupted me when speaking. I Asked her to please call her point of contact on the ticket to figure out correct billing and ended the call due to her rudeness. She then called back and I answered and asked her what else did she need. Her reply was to tell me to "lose my attitude first off." again I disconnected due to her provocations. I have not used this company and would not use them EVER at this point. I hung up with Amy and she continued to call the business line repeatedly to continue to make an issue out of their incorrect billing instead of just calling her POC on the ticket. The fourth call back I asked her to please stop calling our business line as we are a very busy company and my lines can not be tied up for this matter any further. She then called back again for the 5th time to double check they had the right company so as to leave a BAD review on our google page (as if she used our services). They wanted to be sure to leave a bad review but not ensure correct billing. This is the most unprofessional company I have had dealings with. I will never use them and implore you not to use them as well. Even if you don't use them, but they mistakenly bill you for services never rendered, you might even end up with a bad review on your company profile! STAY AWAY FROM LAKE JACKSON TOWING THEY ARE BAD FOR BUSINESS!!!
These guys are phenomenal!! Last night my daughter's vehicle broke down in a relatively low trafficked highway. She contacted Verizon Roadside which was a fiasco and no help ever came. When she would call them "the contracted towing service" would extend the ETA. Five hours later she reaches (not contracted with Verizon) Lake Jackson Towing and the lady on call could not have been nicer. (She must have been a mother!) She contacted a driver who was not scheduled to work and convinced him to go get these two girls off the side of the road. I spoke with her to pay the fee and was so impressed with her empathy and compassion. These employees are saints in my opinion!!
The clerk at the location was very kind and very clear on the price range and getting all the important facts about my car. The tower on site Cameron Dice unit #98 was very careful and very clear on the damage with my car. He taken great care of my care and I'm highly thankful he wasn't too upset with the weather conditions it was very cold that night. God bless him. He glad me hope on my repair of my car. I called into their office to make a towing appointment for my car to get to the shop. The lady in the phone was professional and very patient with me. The tow truck was on time! Quick and reliable. The driver was so nice and funny. It really makes a bad situation like a busted engine seem much less stressful when people make them go right and these guys make it right.
We were towed by Larry and what a life saver he was.
We are company team drivers who's truck broke down at the customer's site.
We ended up waiting in the truck for 7 1/2 hours before Larry came and picked us up. The delay was load base not because of waiting for the tow. Needless to say, we were beyond starving since it had been over 14 hours since we had last eaten.
Larry had to tow us to GA 4 1/2 hours away from where he picked us up at. He was extremely nice and understanding; he took us to a resturant of our choice so we could eat before our long drive. He also asked us several times during the trip, if we needed to stop to use the restroom.
When we arrived to the Kenworth dealership, he waited until we dropped our truck off so he could offer us a ride to the hotel, saving us time and money to call a taxi; especially, since it was 2 am.
We would highly recommend this towing company; extremely personable family run business!!!
They came out and picked my jeep up on the interstate on memorial weekend a Sunday. Amazing rate and they were there in 40 mins and neat me to my house the driver was very nice and the ladie who took my call was just as awesome. I highly recommend this company best tow experience I have had and I get towed alot with my jeep lol. Thank you very much.
Have used this company on two occasions to take cars to my mechanic. They are quick, efficient, professional, and friendly. The rates are good too. Some towing companies can be a little sketchy, this one is not. I would prefer not to need their services, but if you do need a tow, I highly recommend Lake Jackson.
100 miles from home, our Mercedes died at a rest stop in west Tallahassee. Lake Jackson was there in 20 minutes with a very modern and clean flat bed. Larry and Larry (yep, both had the same name) were very professional and courteous. The car was loaded and on its way to the Mercedes dealer in 15 minutes. Very reasonable price.
