Man when I tell you I love this store. Especially this young guy named Jeremiah, he’s fast, nice, and a funny a- dude. Got me all my parts while working the counter by himself.

The customer service here was just awesome. Not often that I am able to say that about an auto parts store, but their customer service absolutely blew me away, and I really appreciate them taking the time to research and assist me in finding my warranty information. Jeremiah initially began assisting me, but was unable to find all of the information. Despite the store being very busy with traffic right after the holidays, the manager, Mr. Lockwood stopped what he was doing to assist Jeremiah and myself. They were extremely patient and went above and beyond the call of duty. Happy new year and thank you so much! Tyree

We bought a battery a year ago in 2023. The battery has a three year warranty. We had the receipt. #1 you have to wait for them to charge it. I told the guy it couldn't hold the charge. He said maybe it was my car, I said "no". #2. After it was determined the battery was the issue. He told me I still had to pay $24.00 if I wanted to keep the remaining 22 months I still had on my warranty. I have a problem with that because not only is that not really a warranty but also that means they do not stand with high quality when it comes to their products. The battery was originally $279.00. I should have been able to swap the battery since it was defective without paying another $24.00 because that is what a warranty is and still keep the 22 months. Will not go back there again No thanks. Too many other places to go to who sell car batteries.

One of my windshield wipers flew off while I was driving and I made a quick stop here. The gentleman that helped me was very nice. He put my new wiper on and had me test it several times to make sure it was right. I really appreciate him taking the extra time to help me install it instead of just selling it to me.

My mom went to this store not long ago to get a battery for my stepfather. After 3 days, the battery died and she tried to return the battery to the same store, and an associate told her she could not return it because she had no receipt. I don't think that's right because they could easily look it up in the system and see when she bought it. Heck, even Home Depot let's you return items if you don't have a receipt. That's ridiculous! It's not her fault that she didn't get a receipt because the employee didn't give it to her due to having no paper. Absolutely shameful...

I drove there in my truck because I needed a new battery because I knew they could swap them out, but I made a big mistake. 30 minutes after the guy started all I hear him saying is "I don't know why it's not working" so I tried to be helpful and said "Maybe you knocked something loose." This seemed to make him defensive and he said "I didn't knock anything lose." I replied "I'm just trying to help with suggestions, maybe it's a fuse?" To which he said "I'm checking the fuse now." So I left him alone and he couldn't get it working until a customer came up and they started talking. The customer asked if I had a screwdriver which I gave him and it started again. Apparently the employee had shorted out my vehicle while changing the battery and blown more than one fuse. When they tried to take the fuse out they crushed it and then used the metal inside to bypass it (see picture) so that my vehicle would run. I was told to take it to the shop to get the 80A fuse fixed, and when I drove away I noticed my stereo wasn't working now either. I assume the employee crisscrossed the positive and negative terminals to blow the fuses that were working when I drove up, but the whole ordeal wasted an hour of my life just to cost me more money. I would strongly recommend not putting your trust in Advanced Auto Parts technical ability if you don't want your vehicle damaged. *edit 5-11-2023* To get the two fuses fixed and run an electrical test was a total of $186.26 and my truck was in the shop for 3 days. That's pretty expensive for a free battery change service.

Outstanding service. The clerk went out of his way. Even installing my new headlight bulb and break light bulb. A bit difficult to get 8nto, but worth it.

The girl behind the counter was awesome but the manager was very rude. Pretty sure his name was Lockwood and the other one named Foya it's like I wasn't welcomed in only Ynett was very helpful

I have to start by saying... I passed by your store and went to O'REILLY first (Because I worked there a while ago and, what can I say? I'm loyal) when I got there I asked if they had the wipers I needed and also if he could install them. He said "we don't install wipers in the rain" um... what?! So I walked out VERY upset. I headed back to your store. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately and asked what I needed help with. I asked if they installed wipers in the rain because evidently O'REILLY doesn't, and his response was "absolutely". He took care of everything for me. I forgot to ask his name but he is a great employee and a valuable asset to your company! You now have a new customer! 11/10/22

They cater to repair shops who deal with people working at Advance Auto that the general public never sees in the back of the store. The people working up front are just poorly trained retail workers. Staff needs better customer service skills. I only buy stuff there I get off the shelf.

Tallahassee, Florida (W. Tennesse location) so I had some trouble with my car not wanting to start as it literally would not start after parking while at the store. Lockwood greeted me inside and took a look, testing the battery. Well, found out it was time for a new one! Lockwood assisted me with the replacement. Very knowledgeable and really great customer service. Very happy with the new battery and how everything went during my visit and now I’m on with the rest of my day! Thank you wry much Lockwood!! And a special thanks to Advance Auto Parts for having such great staff!

The store is old and dusty looking but they are super helpful and had what I needed. There was only one person working and the phone was ringing off the hook. She was taking calls and helping me at the same time. Overall, it was a good experience.

Don't use this one much but had to get a battery for the company car. Young man that helped me was great. Very polite and respectful. He is a good hire. Oh and they had the battery I needed. In and out in ten minutes.

I had one of the worst experiences ever, absolutely zero customer service skills, or what seemed like desire to even try and help me. I needed radiator hoses for project that you can't just look up because its custom, she (Yaivonda) I believe was her name, was also very condescending. She wasn't aware of the fact that I was a manager before at an Advanced auto and I know that sometimes you have to just take measurements and help people get what they need. Not all things are cookie cutter when dealing with cars. I give this store, because of her attitude a 1 star, and believe me, I would have given -5 if I could!

I wasn't prepared to purchase what I was looking for but they still went out of their way to find all of the parts I'm going to buy. She even gave me a slip with parts and prices so when I go to purchase them all I have to do is show the slip and they scan it and it'll pull all of the parts up so we don't have to go through the process of researching for the parts. Awesome concept.

Aweful customer service..went in for info on battery..car wouldn't start..employees left us stranded in parking lot for an hour..no offer of help at all! If you expect help from these people ,just as a Common Courtsey because you have someone stranded in your parking lot..it's not happening! All we needed was a jump!Even an offer would have been nice!

I do not agree with the previous reviews. With all do respect only one person in this store is knowledgeable toward the parts and experience. The two younger guys there couldn't even help me with basic battery terminals.they wanted to send me to the dealership for batt.terminals. lol went next day lockwood helped me in and out of the store in 5 mins..keep up the good work lockwood

My husband came into with our jeep that was broke down. My son was sick and had a doctor appointment to get to. Manager rushed part from warehouse to store and my husband was able to install in the parking lot and made it to doctor on time. The manager was very nice, exceptionally helpful and compassionate. Thank you so much!

Understaffed to a huge degree. Prepare to wait in very long lines on the weekend. Staff is typically nice, but you can see the frustration as they try to juggle so many things at the same time. DO NOT BELIEVE THE WEBSITE when it comes to what they claim is in stock at the store. I have gone multiple times to get parts that the site said were in stock at the store only to find out they are not only not in stock, but are never even stocked to begin with. Shady business practice to get you in the door. It's a bad business practice too because it's not like I'll go into a parts store to get brake pads but decide to just buy an alternater because the brakes were not in stock. I realize this is not the fault of the stores, but the company in general needs to work on this.

Worst customer services ever. Granted we showed up right before they closed. Our bad. But dang it's your job to install a battery and test it, not the customers. If you're going to work in the customer service industry do it with the correct attitude. If not, find a different job. Simple as that. Not only did both of the salesmen leave the 4 of us locked outside installing our new battery, but they treated us horribly and acted as if they were doing us a HUGE favor to test the battery after we had to bang on the doors to get their attention. Yes you still have stranded customers outside. If we pay $300 for something we're going to want to make sure it works correctly before leaving. Needless to say we will not be coming back.

Drove all the way there to do a simple return and the customer service was horrible. Employees were no help and rude. I had the receipt and everything should of been a simple but of course not.
