Inter-County Recycling Inc JunkYard in Leesburg (FL)

I sold some copper wire to the Leesburg location. 341 lbs. and all they paid me was 0.55 lb. I checked on the going rate in the area and it was $2.55 lb. This wire didn’t have any connectors or anything else on it. When I do business with someone I expect them to be honest and fair. I’m sure that this was not done by the owner, but this guy is the face of the company. Too bad that it takes 20 years to build up a company’s reputation and only 20 minutes for an employee to ruin it. It’s sad that I’ll have to go somewhere else to do my recycling. Save yourself the time and effort, go somewhere else. I will.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Prices meet market values. Easy lay out for dropping materials. I’ve been to a few places around and this is my go to! Lakeland is horrible, don’t go to Lakeland! If you go more than once, and get to know the people on property, they are really good people and will have fun with you, telling jokes, talking smack (jokingly) and make it a fun place to go! 9.5 out of 10… if I lived closer and didn’t have to drive so far it would get a 10…. But I guess that’s more my problem than theirs! Thanks for all you’ve done Scrap Fam!

I wouldn't go anywhere else if I had more to recycle. Honest people with great prices. Great communication with customers. Friendly environment, and fast, in an out!

First time dealing with Inter-county Recycling. My husband brought in scrap brass pieces. They were very fair and up front with the prices. We got more then we expected and will definitely back soon.

Don't go anywhere else !! This place is it they are nice as can be called me by first name after the 2nd time going. Best group of people to deal with. I will only go here. Thanks guys

I find it amazing they are still in bizness. Took a buddy to there to recycle 3 bags of cans. waited an hour while they joke and kid with customers they know. metal laying on the ground everywhere, got a screw in my brand new tire. thankfully went sideways through the tread, and did not loose air. thought it would be better with Russ gone but its the same ole run down junk yard.they don't let you see the scale so you just have to take their word for it. Beware people what a scam.

We were the only people up front and waited around for 20 minutes for someone to help us. Place has no sense of urgency or consideration for other people’s time. Not to mention the prices are a rip off.

Never again. No process, rhyme or reason. Supervisor said they would take my safe for free but no money...as if they don't get $$$ for it or they'd not take it. Aluminum can area everyone stands in a circle. No line...no order, buddy system. Stood forever. Way too much socializing with customers. Young girl at desk couldn't count money. Gave me 68, but was due 78. She politely argued but finally realized she was counting a 10 as a 20 and said it was a blonde moment. My Rubbermaid trash can also disappeared. Stolen by the riff raff metal sellers, yet no one had any knowledge or saw anything from the time I stood in line to be shortchanged 10 dollars till I left. What a scam. Too much drama and a freaking hour wait in line after I dumped light iron!

No reason to go anywhere else. Crazy friendly and very thorough with metal sorting. Bins reading to small loads and the scrap yard available for the big loads. Give them your business. Good people!

OK WELL I JUST DON'T KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE. I HAVEN'T BEEN BACK THERE FOR QUITE AWHILE. I CALLED THEM BEFORE GOING TO GET PRICES ON WHAT I HAD TO SELL. WHEN I GOT THERE UNLOADED WENT TO WINDOW TO GET PAID THEY PAID ME LESS THAN QUOTED OVER PHONE AN HOUR BEFORE. I TOLD THEM ABOUT IT AND THEY SAID I WAS A LIAR. WELL ALSO TWICE I TOOK THINGS INTO THEM AND I HAD IT WEIGHED BEFORE GOING THERE. TWICE THEY PAID ME FOR AND SAID I HAD HALF THE WEIGHT THAT I ACTUALLY HAD. SO I GOT TIRED OF BEING CHEATED AND WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN. I REALLY SHOULD HAVE TURNED THEM IN AND TOOK THEM TO COURT. ANYWAY BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.!!!!

Brandon is a pleasure to do business with. fast and friendly service and they pair fair prices for scrap. I will continue to do business with icr.

If you have scrap metal this is the place to go they are very nice and abide by the rules that they have to and they do it in a nice way i have been here a few handful of times and never had an issue with workers/owners and get me in and out in a very quick fashion

Good folks. Won't rip you off. Despite metal prices being down overall, they gave a fare price for my aluminum cans.

They are very slow working and the prices are low. the owner always picking material from the bins he don't want to pay.

Always slow processing customer thru and even when there is someone in office for the customers you still wait to long then the property is not kept up well
