Productive day at A.A.T.S. ..all vehicles from the list online were there in the locations said to be, the prices are great but even better was all the parts I bought worked. Looking forward to going back.

Brian was awesome. Went above and beyond to help me out. Mikey help too and also included some throwback movie trivia. He said if u get the correct answer to his next trivia question, he will buy you a soda!!! You must ask for Mikey for your chance to get a free soda, and u have to come in the store to get your soda. No trivia questions over the phone... Did I mention they pull whatever part you need. Once u find the part that u need, take a picture with ur phone, bring it to the front desk, and then the best part after that is. You have to do it is just sit in the Air Conditioning and wait for them to load it up for ya.... High Five guys... Don't forget to ask Mikey about the free soda!!!

Very helpful, curious and friendly. If ever in need of a used part I'll definitely check them out first. Great prices as well

Great team working there. The girl at the front is so awesome, she can do so much for 1 person. She really helped me out in a bad situation, very caring and didn't try to take me for every $$$, which says a lot about her. Thank you for being 100% and giving me the help I needed. You have my business for life. Oh BTW, that girl deserves a pay raise.

We drive an hour each way from Orlando to have Brian and his crew work on our cars! Worth the drive for the honest service, very fair prices, and the feeling that you are not getting ripped off or up-sold! They stand behind their work! I totally recommend!

I got really lucky when I found this company. Another company had quoted me around $600 for AC repair. American Auto told me it was just a blower motor. They repaired it quickly and I saved a LOT of money ($500) because they are honest. It's been a week now the AC is kicking! Strong, ICY COLD air. I'm in heaven thanks for saving me. ❤ 🤍 💙

Having so much trouble and being sold wrong tires i finally went to American Auto, got a set of the right tires and even put them on. Brian and his guys were so professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, and even gave me a great deal. The mechanic even fixed a different issue with my vehicle i didn't even ask about (at no cost). I dont expect something done for nothing but i will go back to these guys from now on. These other businesses need to step it up

Brian and his team at American Auto & Truck Salvage are absolutely the best. They made my old Suburban run better than new! The service was excellent and their attention to detail is superior to any auto mechanics I have ever employed to work on my vehicle so wish I had discovered them a long time ago. They are the only junkyard around that pulls the parts for you. Great service and quick turnaround. The only reason I give 4 of 5 stars is the foul language that the staff use. 4 letter words should be reserved for when you smack your hand with a hammer, not when your looking up parts for a customer. Other than that, a great business to get you what you need at a fraction of the cost👍

They always have the parts I need. The parts are always top-notch and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I even go to American Auto before the dealership. Same quality parts at a much better price and I don't have to wait for them to be shipped. It's a no-brainer!

I have unfortunately had to visit three times in the past month. Needed two whole wheel setups and a new headlight after an accident. These guys took great care of me every time. With my second wheel, my travel jack broke, and they gave me a new one. Next time with the headlight, I was missing an air filter clip, and once again they gave me a complimentary replacement. These guys treated me like family during a very stressful and expensive month, and made it much less expensive than it had to be. I will recommend these guys to anyone who needs anything for their car, and will definitely be seeing them for all of my needs. Thank you guys so much for everything!

Went there to buy an alternator and was told that this was the only alternator they had when I said I didn't want it as it appeared to be bad sure enough it was bad and then was told the next morning that that was the only one they had and then when my mom went up there to return the alternator they said they had more but they just had a skeleton crew the day before and didn't feel like pulling another one

These guys are awsome. I specifically dealt with Bryan. I messed up my rim on my kia and when no shops or other yards had any Bryan was able to get me one from a different shop in a matter of days. Will most likely be coming back for any other parts I need.

Great place to get cheap parts. Brian is a wonderful employee there. He is very friendly and helpful.They have a variety car parts for your needs. Before going out and buy those high price parts check them out first.

A good place to buy used auto parts. My 94 Accord broke down. I needed a power steering pump and a brake booster. Called up and talked to Brian, he took my name and number so he could check on the parts for me. Called me back, said he pulled the parts and they would be waiting for me at the counter. Fast and reasonably priced. Best part was not having to rummage through the yard myself. In and out. They are located just North of the old Trooper station in Fruitland Park on the East side of 27/441. Look for their big sign, with a flag.

Excellent service knowledgeable,( everything has went well awesome enough I bought a shirt just to support the cause) thumbs way up brian was just great however they did such a great job we may not need to come back ,I may have to break something on the car. This is gitting the word out so you can be treated with respect and save money, tell your friends and...post ...

I saw a car online that they had and I wanted the spoiler from it. Old car/hard to find spoiler. I never got a reply to my e-mail but when I called Brian was courteous and very helpful in setting up an order to ship it to me. Within a week from my phone call I have the spoiler.

I called and spoke to a guy named brian i do believe about an alternator for my truck. On my way to the salvage yard my truck broke down. I called back to see what time they closed and instead of not getting there before they closed he sent one of his guys to me with the alternator. Amazing guy....he really saved the day. Here we are driving down the road in our truck. Thank you american auto salvage.

I went in to buy an engine for someone else to install, however Brian insisted on doing the job for approximately $100 cheaper. It was the worst mistake of my life. I ended up taking the truck back 3 times and its still leaking oil. He cut the transmission line while installing the engine and didn't repair it, when I got the truck back 2 days later I almost blew the transmission. Very sloppy work. I guess you get what you pay for.

Not to be confused with a pick and pull sorta establishment. They pull the parts for you, however you can order the parts ahead of time and pick them up later. Awesome customer service and priced reason. Minus a star for lack of extensive inventory like some places.

Checked online, found the part I needed, stopped by, checked it over, paid for it, went home, removed the old part, replaced with "used" part, and everything was Great! Good used parts at low prices, and fast help at the counter!
