Great store and employees are very helpful. Needed a license plate frame removed, but it had special screws, and I did not have to buy the wrench for it. Employee found one in the back and came out to my car and removed it for me. A+
I went inside to return something and it got returned but i also asked the man who was working today to check my battery for me he said he would and was very nonchalant about it and didn’t do it i left and came back a old man was there as well she was trying to do it for me but couldn’t find where to connect it so he wanted the younger person to do it because it was customers inside which is understandable . The young one walked pass me several times and he knew what i needed so i ended up leaving . That is poor customer service and if you are having a bad day the go home but don’t just not do what you get paid to do . Mr James was ok he did the best he could
Ricardo was playing around on his phone and refused to assist me. First, he scoffed at me when I asked why they didn’t have US Air Force license plate holders. Then, I needed a fuse puller or pliers to assist me and purchase fuses from them. This is the worst Advanced Auto that I have been to in the Nation and that’s why customers like myself end up going to Auto Zone. Veterans, choose a different auto parts store than this one.
So the cops stopped me because my license plate lights were out, both of them. So I went to advance Auto parts and purchased some brand new LED light bulbs to replace the incandescent ones that were probably the original in my 2013 Cadillac. The bulbs work fantastic they were super bright and from what I understand they'll almost never have to be replaced. Service at the place was great. I would highly recommend going to advance Auto parts if you ever need anything for your car.
Hi l stopped by the other day and was met by courteous and professional employees , kind of sad , dealership's are hurting businesses like this IMO, l support the local guy's it helps the economy and supports jobs.thank y'all at Advance.😁👍🙏
Very friendly and professional. The two gentlemen that were working tonight were great listeners as well. Definitely will return. I'm sorry I didn't look at their name tag to recognize them for their service.
I was trying to find out the proper screws for my undercar guard and one of the men there seemed allergic to helping people. The other gentleman with the long hair actually gave an effort to step in and help me which I greatly appreciate. I'm not sure what was wrong with the first employee but it seems like he has zero interest in helping people or doing his job. Will most likely avoid coming here after that experience. Again, I appreciated the gentleman with the longer hair for actually trying though.
I came to get a sensor for my car and the big head black guy told me "it's not that important, I don't see why you should get it"..what do you mean? I see why there's no one at that store, hire better people please
I went to the Advance Auto on 56th today to sort out an issue I was having with my battery. It turned out to be much more complicated than expected, but Marco and Isaac went WELL out of their way to help me out. I cannot say enough about how outstanding their customer service was, and I am extremely grateful for the time and effort they put into helping me solve the problem. I am now a loyal customer for life. Marco and Isaac, if you happen to read this review, y'all are awesome, thank you so much!!
The auto supply shop had excellent service with a very friendly employee who went above and beyond. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the product I needed, but the helpful staff made the visit worthwhile.
I tried Amazon and jumped through the hoops to find the "right part". It wasn't. I sent the wrong part back. I came here and in less than 5 minutes I was walking out and installing the correct part that fit my car!
Bought a battery from here because I needed a new one, it died not too long after from what mechanics concluded to be a bad cell. I went to exchange it for a new one under warranty and they said “battery reads fine on our end so can’t help you” which was crazy because they said the scanner has no way to tell if the battery has a bad cell or not. And then the guy at the counter said “you’re just gonna have to buy a new one.” Which was was incredibly frustrating.
Today would have been horrible day without the help of Ashley. I had bought some windshield wipers for my car, but one employee was struggling to install it, so Ashley came out and assisted and determined that my car was a special case that needed a particular windshield wiper. She explained the process and even helped me buy a particular AC freon can for my other car. If I ever start a company one day and need employees, I would absolutely try to poach her for my company! 10/10!!!
Yesterday, I left to go home after my work day . My car would not start. I'm 30+ miles from home and I realized I had no one to call for help. I felt so much anxiety and fear and so alone. Triple A would not tow My car close to my home. If I was back in Pittsburgh, i know i could've made a couple calls and someone would be there for me. But I realized how alone I truly am. But, someone was watching over me tho. 2 good Samaritans came to see if they could help. Total Strangers. Took the time to get jumper cables. It did not work. One of those strangers took my battery out and drove me to Advanced Auto. An Angel named Samantha works there. My battery tested great. It was my starter. Samantha at Advanced Auto called her husband and he came to my rescue. I am so grateful, I cannot express it enough. I'm trying so hard to be positive...I have no luck. My faith in humanity was restored, even just for now. I was so grateful to get home to Ursula, my dog, and be able to sit on my balcony trying calm down. I'm almost there (calm). Thanks to Strangers, I am grateful to the moon and back. 💜
Order not ready after ordering online for 2 days, one item was unavailable for the order....then don't take my money when it says it'll be ready for pick up soon! Also there is alot of other advances and no other store had it?? After calling store on day 1 lady who answered was completely clueless??? Didn't even know when store opened next morning. Still never got the one item I really needed, this failed completely & had 2 days after I purchased! This is 1st auto part store I've encountered that didn't carry a simple spark plug socket! And after 2 days between all of their stores still came up with nothing!
I understand being frustrated if someone doesn’t know a whole lot about cars, and customer service is taxing in general, but James could have reeled it in a little bit. No need to roll your eyes at people or scoff. Life goes on.
Going to give a shout out to Joe! He came out and helped me install my battery. He was very courteous and answered all my questions. They've got a great staff! Will definitely come back!!
Joe was absolutely amazing! I went in to try and find a part for my motorcycle. I usually exclusively go to Harley because the limited parts every other auto store has. Joe was amazing and helped me get exactly what I needed quick and provided exceptional customer service! I was impressed with how quick and courteous he addressed my concern and did the same for everyone else in the store while I was there.
9-20-20. I come from my mec shopbon Newpor Richey. To work on my sons car. On a complete tuneup. Associate name Mr. James. On Tuesday my son call me the car it was acting up. Come back over the weekend find out one of the parts it was defective part #9029. 9-26-20. I came back to the store to replace The part. Which one it was on the defect defect for manufactory. Again I get in contact now with the same associate just sold it to my son Mr. James. . You can tell he didn’t want to work. because it was so easy for him to find the purchase. Thank God for the information did the store next to my shop gave me I was able do you know how to find the purchase of the day even without a phone number I’ll because of James they wanted to do his job. Today 9-27-20. I was coming ready to take care of the situation even the main office sent me to another place to pick up the parts. But I’ll stop on the same store this time In associate Mr. Kevin ask me how can you help me I told him what happened to my son on his car he looked at the spark plugs got the part number right away found the purchase of the day exchange the part with no top of headaches. I didn’t even have to ever explain to don’t mistake Mr. James create. Thanks to Kevin I will come back to the store next time d I’m on Tampa. I need James need a little bit more of training . Something that annoys me tho, why is it when I place an online order they never prepare it before my arrival. You get an email stating "your order is ready" but yet it's still not ready when you get there. Crazy!!
The service was awsome. I got wiper blades for my car anf the staff was really helpful. My husband usually would handle that stuff so i wasn't a 100% sure what u was looking for. I did get some great blades and they were on sale so it was 40% on both blades. I saved like $20.
Needed some diesel treatment late and could not get our corporate account accessed. The people here gave it to us for the corporate discount and got us on our way. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend these professional they go above and beyond and value their customers!
I have been a customer here for many years. Service is great and they usually have what I need in stock. If it's not in stock I can usually get it within a day. They offer some specialty tools here for rent. The Car Wash and detailing section has a lot of products, many of which are professional grade.
