I went to TMR in Seffner, FL today at 12:15 and the gate was closed. I called the number on the building and got a message saying they were unavailable at this time. They finally opened the gate at 1:15 and the guy working the weigh ins was named Josh. I've never had such a difficult time at TMR as I did today. The lady that works the scales usually was there on my way out and she apologized for how he acted. She is always nice and I cannot remember her name. This is a great place to recycle, they always pay a fair dollar amount. I will be glad to not deal with Josh again.
This was the first time I had ever walked into a scrap yard, and it was clean. Friendly people and fair prices. I wouldn't go to any other yard but Trademark. Thank you for being a great A++ business
I stopped going to this place years ago I start back because it's close but I'm done they do not pay you what you're supposed to get paid they act like the money is coming out of their pocket. Sometimes that's all the money people will have for the week I would rather drive across town the one off Dale mabry pays more . I take exactly the same thing over there I make at least $100 to 200. here I get 40 to 70 smh
If you have scrap metal turn in gate pull straight up to scale on right with your driver's license. She will weigh you vehicle and tell you where to go an dump then go back to scale. If you have aluminum copper batteries or other high dollar products like radiators turn in gate turn left send on left. I have never had a problem with anyone. Everyone has always been so nice everytime I have been there. I highly rate this
If you have a valid I.D. they take care of you above and beyond. Even as a one time favor I brought some aluminum in that was worth much less with like 4 bolts in it the manager helped me get the better price.
The lady behind that window made it the biggest headache of my life to scrap an Some ac units from my warehouse. She couldn’t find my business name on sunbiz.com even though I clearly showed her how easy it was to find it on my phone with a refreshed browser. After 15 minutes of her tinkering around she somehow magically finds it. She was clearly just waisting my time. I probably dumped them $500 in ac scrap and j made 80. ( I don’t mind just wanted to dump it) but come on be a little nicer next time.( there won’t be a next time taking buisness somewhere else. I didn’t ask her why it took her so long to find my business name when I could pull up in two seconds on my phone. She replied I can’t tell you sometimes things don’t work… and giggled.
The lady at “pay-out” counter is always in a terrible mood, and never in a hurry to help you get on your way down the road.
Everyone else has mostly been there a while, and I would go more often if not for the older-aged “lady” that works in the cashiers trailer.
It was easy and quick to get in and out of. The young guy who does the cans was very helpful in explaining things to my son. I greatly appreciate how courteous he was towards him.
Trademark is a great facility,easy in an out .grapple operator deserves a raise he knows what's he's doing ,an staff is nice an professional,an most of the give ya money😀😁😂
I went there this last Thursday, April 2nd, and had an extremely heavy load of scrap metal, and could not believe all I got was $32, that was not worth the gas or trouble , I don't know if their scale is wrong or what but it was pretty sad, I normally drive out of my way to go there , but I'm not anymore I'll go somewhere closer to home
They are the biggest CROOKS. I went there (a girl alone) to see what type of treatment they would give me. They don't help anyone. The young guy working at the aluminum drop off was very friendly & helpful but unfortunately thats where any good review ends. Already knew the weight and the price other scrap yards would pay. Trademark gave me 50.00 + or - few $$ than a cpl other yards we consulted.. Have documentation along with other proof to move forward. It's time someone cracks down on these types of businesses taking advantage of people.
Been going here for our scrap metal needs for years we been cleaning up a old farm with old equipment and scrap. TMR is always easy to get in and out fast and the staff has always been great even the cat (see in my photos) thanks 👍👍👍
CROOKS!!! DO NOT SCRAP HERE!! First they don't help you at all with anything!!! We brought in close to 500 pounds of aluminum and steel which at our other place we have gotten close to $200 for! They didn't even pay us for the aluminum with copper wire!!! I'm beyond DISAPPOINTED!! This was our first and LAST TIME EVER GOING TO THIS PLACE!!
If you do business here be sure to take some steel so you can pull onto the scale and weigh your vehicle before and after you scrap your copper. Even then you will get a lower price per pound. 15 minutes away and you will get more money for your effort.
Horrible place to take scrap metal. I have been going there for several years (cause it was close to my shop) and they act as if they are doing you a favor. Was told they haven't had a magnet crane to pick up metal in over 2 years and basically said i was lying . Every time I go some new rule and i find that other places pay better even there location off of 41. pays more, the magnetic crane works and people much nicer. TMR needs to do something about this unfriendly place !!!
Crooked theives. They pay ya shreddable price for number 1 steel and when ya bring it to their attention they snap at ya and act like it's your fault. No wonder they don't have any business
