Quoted me 500$ for parts thats the competition down the road has for 300. They competition walked outside and took pictures of the car to try and make sure the color is correct. This place refused to do that and said if have to walk in myself and go look. Living an hour away, its not real convenient. But if im going to drive an hour I'll go to the competition where the prices are better and the customer service is top notch.
These people are terrible bad customer service I call for a port drive 30 minutes away. They said they have it when I arrive. They said they don’t have it. They called me idiot to drive 30 minutes but I asked them do you have it? They said yes, we have itnot professional they fighting and yelling in the office between each other.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! I purchased a battery from here and just out of the crappy 90day warranty they give- my car started acting up. Took it to my dealer and they tell me the battery conked out. Battery health test came back at 1% from purchasing at the end of March. I call and request to speak to a manager and the smart ass who answers the phone has the nerve to tell me what did I do to my car besides driving it to MAKE the battery die instead of taking accountability for selling me a defective item! Then has the nerve to hang up on me. No customer service skills. Not professional in the slightest! Horrible place. Do not recommend. The 3.5 review they currently have is way too high and deserve to be way lower. Their service is trash!
This is one company i would not recommend to anybody. They told me 2 weeks ago my gas tank would have been to my house. Every time I called it was a different issue. The company we use don't give out tracking information, if they don't give out tracking hpw they tell you where the tank at but couldn't tell me. It has been a on going situation since 3 weeks ago. They told me my tank would have been to rhe house by the end of the week, I called back today they gonna lie and say I canceled the order then the guy said the owner said canceled. How you get mad when someone paid for a part with their hard earned money. If I didn't called today I would have been looking for a tank and never got it. Please STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
I spend well over $20k a month in salvage parts from several providers in the Tampa area. NO ONE has consistently disappointed me like CSG.
Extraordinarily poor business practice. I spent close to $2000 with this company and have received 5 different defective parts from them. Each time, only a replacement which took an extra business day was the only remedy they offered. Those replacements ALSO didn't work, and were then scrapped at my expense.
When confronted with photo evidence of the quality of their parts, the excuse I'm given is that their dismantlers are uneducated, as though their employees make it my fault for purchasing from them?
Never again.
Way over priced. You can have it rebuilt for the price he asked. It was the wrong part to start. Why not have checked the part out first then the price. $$$
Purchased a used computer that was faulty as soon I put it in the car.Luis refused to refund any part of my purchase and basically told me to use it as a paperweight.Luis has a terrible attitude and shouldn’t be involved in any business dealing with the public.How this business is still open surprises me.Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for used parts.See attached photo of a screenshot involving a conversation with Luis and see for yourself what he thinks about his customers and how he treats them!!!Update - I ordered a computer through a reputable company of eBay that actually tests their parts before sending them out and installed it and works perfectly!!
Called about a rim for a little Hyundai guy wants 175 for a used rim lol then hubcaps 75 each they sell at Walmart for 35 bucks for a pack of 4 the rim I got at another auto salvage for 30 bucks
WORST COMPANY EVER! BEWARE! Do NOT purchase anything from these people. Luis is the most disrespectful, dishonest, arrogant person I have ever met. Purchased a fuse panel/module, was told I can only exchange if there was an issue. But after three modules and a burnt up ECM, from there junk parts, and spent an additional $1000 to fix the ecm, they refuse to give me my money back, even though they wouldn’t exchange it again. Says I can get store credit. The company I work for has been in business since 1973, how CSG is in business still is mind boggling to me.
Overpriced wouldnt waste my time going here want 375 for a hood that cost 125 everywhere else what a ripoff plus other comments say they won't warranty anything I would stay away sounds like problems
Well worth the drive 2 hours North. Didn't end up having the part I needed but we ended up finding one and he gave me such a great deal. Very honest people and even one of the employees gave me a hand installing the part here in the parking lot. If you are looking for OBS Chevy parts this lot is full of them.
Overpriced for small items, unwilling to budge on whatever number they say, even when shown the part I was after was 1/5 the cost from the dealership and the part oem new vs used. Was there again for a very small subcomponent of a part and they quoted me 2x the price of the main component itself. Walked out shaking my head will never go back.
Purchased A used driveshaft for $188 earlier today and not even 6 hours later was informed that they did not accept any returns or offer any refunds. It would not fit and now we're $188 poorer with a part that doesn't even fit the vehicle.
Do not buy anything from this salvage yard . They do very bad business and ripping people off like myself . I bought and paid for a part , gave them a week after I paid for it to pull it , when I got there after a four hr drive the part was not pulled and after I was told they would give me a total refund, I believed them . They never refunded my $$ for the steering column for a 1981 Corvette, and every time I called for weeks afterwards they had every excuse and assured me I would get a refund but never happened. After 3 weeks I emailed the company explaining what took place and they told me they don’t do refunds and only a store credit was being offered???? I kelpt calling them and then got nasty with him who told me andassured me I’d get a refund and he hangs up on me . I emailed the company again and I then get a reply again saying I could come pick it up after a month that I paid for it and a four hr drive , the first time . I then agree to just send it to me and I would take the loss and try to sell it to recover my $$. after I had purchased another one from a very reputable company EBay and had it delivered to my house in less then 4 days .
After CSG told me it was on its way and I would have it the next week ….. and that they would provide me a tracking number , it never came so I reached out again and they then said “ We don’t deliver to your residence. Please share this with everyone you know as they are not doing anything to make this rite . They owe me $779.38 and have not seen my refund or the part …after we agreed to just send it to me . This place is a fraud
I needed an Alternator for my vehicle, ALL salvage yards by me didn't have it. I was recommended to CSG by one of them. I called, they had it in stock, told them I'd be in the next day, "had to get a ride". Went in today 09-18-24 around 0850 hrs and it was on the counter. The gentleman who assisted me was extremely respectful and nice and even though he was the only person there, phones ringing, another customer waiting, he offered to take it to my car as I'm in a wheelchair, I declined so he got a box for it.
Absolutely a perfect interaction, I highly recommend CSG and definitely will be returning in the future.
I had the best experience!! I’m a senior citizen and I was afraid of being taken advantage of. I know nothing about cars. I spoke with Luis a few times. He was so patient with me and very respectful. The work that they did was more than excellent. He ordered the parts and installed it. It only took 2 hours compared to an estimate of 4-5 days from another company. The price of everything was less than any estimate I had gotten by more than $800-$900. Thank you Luis and sons for being honest, efficient,and doing a great job!!! I give a 10
Do not buy from this place. Its a junkyard, thats exactly what you get, junk. They will tell you they have exactly what you're looking for, charge you top dollar, then sell you the wrong part and won't refund your money after the fact. I paid $400 for this door with "power windows and locks"

CSG was the forth salvage yard visited searching for a very specific engine control module for a 2005 Dodge. Luis was helpful in showing me the ones he had in inventory so that I could select the one could be installed and programmed to my vehicle. CSG was a bit more organized as well. Will use again when needed.

Very lousy place I have been here 10 times and I’ve only bought a part once every car in the salvage yard is a piece of trash you pay to go in and everything in the yard is worthless besides that they never have the part or vehicle you are looking for over priced and very willing to take advantage of anyone and will tell you go find it somewhere else there’s no room for a place like this in plant city every since ownership has changed this place has been on the steady decline. And be careful the parking lot will tear your car up!
Can't give a tire size over the phone. Have to go in the store just to get a tire size, but he can give an quick 125$ price for a rim and tire. Didn't seem to care about the call at all. Not the most professional
I needed a new engine and transmission for my truck after mine blew up so I called Luis at CSG. After I drove down there, I found out they also install the engines and transmissions. I was skeptical but let him do it anyway as I could not afford a new engine and transmission plus install ($5000.00). I paid $2750 for everything and was surprised how good the truck runs. Luis gave me a 90 day warranty but the truck runs better than it did before. I had some mechanics with over 80 yrs experience between the 2 of them, couldn't figure out my fuel lines were clogged, even after I mentioned it to them ( before my engine blew up). Luis confirmed they were and fixed it. I am pleased with all the hard work Luis and his mechanics did on my truck. Luis is there all day running the place by himself, always busy. I give them 4 stars for now. I would recommend CSG to my friends, for parts, price and overall work performed.
