Scam artists! Wouldn’t let me pick up my parts in person that was listed on eBay bc they knew how bad the condition truly was!! Charged $350 for shipping (what should have been maybe $100-150 tops)…got seats and they totally screwed me—need to be recovered—not low mileage seats—have bad weather/water damage and then they spray painted them without cleaning or doing any prep work……driver seat track wore out and has to be rebuilt….these seats would make good $500 cores for rebuilding not $1350 seats!!! Ripped me off for $1350! Then would not respond i tried to contact them multiple times and they would never respond-completely ghosted me! Got a pair of junk $1350 seats sitting here I can’t use in anything! Buyers beware!!

I called This place inquiring about a part they had advertised on eBay, which they claimed to have in stock I also called again before I drove 3 hours to pick up the part only to show up and the desk guy tell me they dnt have it they can’t find it. Very unprofessional I advise u don’t buy any product from them on eBay or in person.
I was not going to post, but after the seller's unprofessional response on eBay and if you are reading this anytime a business has more than 100 reviews and they have less than a 4-star review there is usually a big reason why and my complaint seems to be in line with the others here. So, I purchased a motor from eBay from this place. I was told it was in good working condition. However, it was not and when it was received the vacuum pump was broke, fly wheel rusted out, and many other things were wrong. I told the seller about this, and he first said it was shipping that damaged it, but the pallet was undamaged. I then brought up all the rusted parts on the motor and his response was "well it's a 3-year-old motor what do you expect". I don't know about you, but I've never had a motor rust out after 3 years. However, after showing him photos of everything, he freaks out because the motor has headers on it and saying the motor and parts were swapped. We had to take the parts from the old motor because so many were rusted and what does a header have to do with anything it's not part of the motor. Also, I did not even want a refund for the motor which is what I think he was scared of I just wanted the motor fixed. The options that were given were not able to be had due to poor communication between both shops. They both stopped contacting each other and trying to make things right which ultimately caused me to have a 2K bill to fix it. After the seller knew I paid the repair bills he did not send any further messages. I would have been happy with just paying for the vacuum pump or part of the labor but failed to make any contact after I paid for the repairs. I am sure he will give some smart response to this like every response during communication. However again around when 30% of your google reviews are one star and have similar experiences you need to heed that warning.

I have been using these guys for years. Always a great experience with Jamey! They have a beautiful location with very high end cars they dismantle. They always give me quality parts, and everything is always spot on. I build a lot of Evo X's in the Central Florida area. I have purchased 4b11T Engines from body parts to seats. I am at 3 years on 1 engine, and is still running like a champ no problems. All my seats work great with all airbag components working like factory. Body parts are always spot on. I also I do my research to make sure its the part I need, and inspect all the parts like a hawk, but thats something I make sure I do. I do recommend this place to anyone, and TAE gets my stamp of approval!
I would not recommend dealing with TAE (Andrew). I paid in full for what was advertised including a shipping fee. I have yet to receive tracking information and confirmation that my order has shipped. They will not also provide a refund or at minimum live up to the deal made. Feels like i have be scammed at this point
Make sure to thoroughly check whatever your buying. This is one of those sketchy no refund places. Bought something damaged so have to come out of pocket an extra $100 to fix. They wouldn’t come down on price as if they are selling brand new goods.
Straight up guys , I purchased a part and had it sent to me. They answered my questions as well as sent me pictures for me to approve before sending it. This was after I already paid too which says a lot. It was also packed crated above and beyond my expectations. No corners were cut to save on shipping. It would’ve been darn near impossible to get damaged on the way to me. You literally could have probably pushed it with your car across a parking lot and not damage it, no joke. I feel like an idiot asking them to please pack it well as I see countless items get damaged in transit. I was told “don’t worry we always pack the items well” That was an understatement. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase anything I needed in the future! Thank you!
Bought some minty Nismo Recaro Juke seats I was going to swap into a Z32. These guys sent extra pics and dealt with my bs to make the deal happen. Bummed they found a little tear in the bolster just before shipping, but we’re totally forward and honest about it and refunded me without any hassle. Thanks again guys!
bought a used s2k engine, had a rod knock, attempted to get a replacement, was told that they dont pay for shipping, with video, timelapse proof of whole receiving and installation. wanted me to pay for return shipping and shipping of replacement engine. at the cost of the price of defective engine. They didn’t want to even try to remedy the situation, pretty much told me to kick rocks, don’t use eBay either because they are no help, and PayPal won’t do anything either.
TAE UAP buyer beware- has a tendency to not be return customer friendly. I asked Jamey for a Packed deal on over 12 Parts- that equaled well over $1000- I asked for a packaged deal 1) so my credit card would not be hit multiple times via Paypal. 2) to save them on shipping- 3) for the convenience I asked for a discount on the entire deal... They refused to invoice me for all parts on Ebay- so I PURCHASED all of them individually and asked for them to be shipped individually since their shipping cost were baked into the price. They canceled my order and blocked me,, No attempt at trying to come to a resolution- Just plain unprofessional-- Even EBAY AGREED it was out of line... but will most like do nothing about it. This is a Trashy and unprofessional business not worth your money.
I had an issue with my ‘17 BRZ transmission and it’s going to require a rebuild, which I don’t have time for presently. I found a low-mileage trans on eBay here at TAE. Luckily, I live in Florida and was able to drive up here to buy the part in person. The TAE staff were very helpful, professional, and kind. They loaded the trans into my truck (even managed to tie it down for me despite my forgetting straps) and said if I had any problems with the part they would make it right. Installed the part yesterday and my baby is back on the road. Absolutely phenomenal price and great customer service. I would definitely shop here again.
Horrible customer service from Tae Used Auto Parts. They are condescending and will do their best to escalate a situation into a worse off one. I asked about pictures for a product I wanted to purchase and they said they couldn’t because “time is money” and they don’t have time for me. They clearly state that they will only send you pictures AFTER a purchase, but I was simply looking for a little extra help. Considering an eBay purchase is contractual, I wouldn’t want to be beholden to a purchase of something before I see what I am buying. Not only that, they didn’t even know their own policy. They just said, “it will need paint.... it is what it is”. Their representative on eBay was belittling and honestly took the time to respond to me in over the course of an entire hour just to have the last word. Instead of taking a few pictures to help me out and said that “time is money” they instead wasted their time continuing to reply when they could have just taken a few pictures. Granted I never made a purchase, thankfully, I never would. Horrible customer service. No positive intent on their part. Never ask to work with Jamey. They are weak and lack any level of remote empathy. Avoid these people at all costs!
If I could I would leave ZERO stars! I just recently inquired about getting 3 parts for my car and the customer service given was deplorable! First off the first response I got was “I’m not shipping” When I asked if I can get pictures of the parts I was responded with “when I have time or drive over here n look at them” i told him wow never mind your customer service is ridiculous and this is exactly what I got back from them, I’ll just copy and paste what they said exactly “How do? Cuz we closed at 5 n ur still asking the questions? I told early that when I have time I’ll send U pictures“ after he said that I didn’t respond and then they sent “ have a nice evening my man“ NOT only did they not even attempt a bit of courteous customer service but they topped it all off with calling me a man when I am definitely a woman. I own a car dealership myself in Orlando (so sorry I couldn’t drive right over to you!) and it’s ridiculous to me to see a business ran in such a poor manner.
Purchased a used F20 Motor for my Honda S2000. at first i was scared doing business with TAE. not going to lie with everyone writing all these reviews.. i used to work for the apartment industry and i will tell you this... everyone goes online to bash people and never put the honest truth... I really want to put my honest truth into this review to let everyone know that the guys at TAE... ESP Chris. he was the was the one i dealt with. Honestly i wasn't the best customer, I can be a little much at times. :) however Chris helped me out with all of my concerns and made sure i was happy. OVER ALL i have my HONDA back her name is Consuela and she runs perfect! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! they helped me after almost 2 years of looking for a motor! ill be back for my soft top just so you know!!! :P

TAE Used Auto Parts are Great people to deal with. Ordered a K20a2 engine and the customer service was excellent. They went above and beyond in helping me with any questions or concerns I had. I highly recommend these guys.
I ordered an exhaust system from them online. The exhaust system was $1600 new but they had a used one for $1000. The pictures looked GREAT! I went ahead and purchased the item and once I received it there was some major scratches on the blue tips of the exhaust. VERY NOTICEABLE that for some reason did not show up in the pictures on online. Shipping was fast and they wrapped up the item very well. There was no way the item got damaged during shipping. So BUYER BEWARE when you buy from them. I wish I would have just bought the new exhaust and never dealt with them. I will give them one star for fast shipping and one for well packaged item.
I would like to give a round of applause to Cody and its colleague for their hard work and craftsmanship. You bet they purchase and sell the greatest quality used parts from wrecked vehicles as well as have the fastest shipping in the nation. Why can't they provide customers VIN #? Perhaps, they can create endless combinations of VIN/serial numbers and paint the parts to appear new/used. Otherwise, it's considered false advertisement. Goodluck with their communication since most of the colleague need to take an anger management class too. I don't even know if they're able to accept the truth because it'll affect his businesses. I ordered parts that showed up the next day. all in good quality condition. I ordered the wrong part and they gave me a no-hassle full refund. I am sure some people have bad experiences with places, especially buying a used motor. You really never know how hard someone beats it up. Even doing a compression, or leak down test, doesn't always show the true condition of a motor. I will do business with them again!
We have been buying from TAE for a few years now, good guys and always ready to help. We at LHT Performance bought many engines and transmissions and they have been described well and no issues. They stand behind their parts and make sure you get the right part.

I had read reviews about this company before I ordered anything. From what I saw, they seemed pretty reputable. I needed a long block for my 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. I bought the car used and ended up blowing the motor the same week I bought it due to a bad tune/too much boost. I found a long block for a 2005 Evo on their site for a pretty good price so I called them and talked to one of their salesmen. I can't recall his name off the top of my head. He told me the compression on the motor was pretty solid; cylinders 1 and 2 at 155 and cylinders 3 and 4 at 160. He also said the motor was "bone stock" and ran fantastic. This seemed like a great buy. I purchased the motor and received it about a week and a half later. We got the motor to a local performance shop and they installed it over the course of a few weeks (they had other cars in front of mine so it took a little longer than usual.) As they started taking my old blown motor out and swapping parts over they noticed the new motor I ordered had ARP head studs and had been driven hard. This obviously means the motor has been torn apart before could be anything but "stock". They got the motor installed and ran a compression test on it to find cylinder 1 at 125 cylinder 2 at 130 cylinder 3 at 145 and cylinder 4 at 135. This is nowhere close to what I was told. This motor has obviously been abused and not very well taken care of. I completely understand that that's the case with most cars like these, but I wouldn't have wasted my time with this motor if I was told the real condition of it. I would have opened a dispute through eBay, but it had already been over the time limit of 45 days before we found out the condition of the engine. I definitely do NOT recommend this company to anybody looking to get a decent used long block.
My son purchased a used engine from these people. When they finally received the engine and got i put in the car it broke down the next day. My son called them because here was supposed to be a warranty for 14 days. He called talked to someone and they said they would call him back. This was day 11 of warranty. Finally on day 15 of warranty (1 day past) I called and talked to them. They informed me that the warranty was over before my son called. I said no because he just received the engine last week and it takes a few days to put it in so this is day 11 (counting weekends) TAE informed me that the warranty started the day they shipped it out. NOW HOW CAN THAT BE..you haven't even received the product as of yet..how do you know it is going to work.
Needless to say..the whole engine needed to be rebuilt....top and bottom. the timing belt went out causing the upper engine to have to be rebuilt. They also informed me that in the warranty it says that you have to change the timing belt for the warranty to be good. HOWEVER, on the engine itself there were tags on there that said if you remove this part the warranty will be invalid. WHICH IS IT...Change it out or no? I thought my son had changed the belt but misunderstood him.
Any way...it is costing another 2700.00 to get this car fixed maybe more because there is a KNOCK in the engine. The shop informed me that whoever looked this engine over did not know what they were doing.
All we want is at least half our money back for this engine so it can get fixed right.
HONOR YOUR PRODUCT!!!!!! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS UNLESS YOU ARE LOCAL AND CAN PICK UP THE PART FROM THEM!! I WOULDN'T EVEN THEN.
I did contact Consumer Services there in Florida and we will go from there.
