I was so happy when I left there. I thought I had a major transmission problem but really it was something minor. I thought it was gonna cost me possibly thousands and it was something easy for them to fix. I think it was like 50 bucks. I was on my way thanks a lot five star transmission highly recommended.
My hats off 5 star transmission my service truck needed a radiator his price beat everybody’s in town and his service was top-notch. He also did work on my family‘s cars always top-notch service. I highly recommend the owner is honest and that is hard to find
Called and gave description of daughter’s transmission issues. She doesn’t live at home ,so I had to make a decision on where she should take her truck.After reading the good and the bad reviews , I thought this was a place for her to go . I am a technician for an electric company working on heavy truck and equipment. So as a tech , we are weary of how shops can be. Honesty and craftsmanship is what we look for. I do not know anyone who owns or works there. This is not a biased review. My daughter took her truck there. They told her costs could be a fee from small to large.( I won’t publish the numbers but they were on par with what would be expected.) They gave the transmission a Quick Look. Made band adjustments. Which took care of the issue. Sent her on her way and didn’t charge her.i would give them more stars if i could. I know this result would not be the same for everyone, but please think of taking your vehicle here first before other shops. I am not saying that other shops would not treat you the same. I am just saying ,if I can’t be there to fix her vehicle for her. I will be sending her to this shop again . Thank you for everything and also how you were kind to my daughter.
I had a little trouble finding the correct address, but let me tell you they are the best mechanic shop I've dealt with in the County. Sam is as patient and knowledgeable as he is tenacious. I've been struggling with my truck for a year. And after taking it to the dealership I was faced with an astronomical bill for the needed repairs. I took the advice of some trusted people and looked up a local shop for a second estimate. I'm glad Sam was the first number I called. I highly recommend this shop and will be using them again in the future.
The owner was at the registry when we pulled in. He explained the options we had. He said he would know more tomorrow after he test drove the car. The next day he gave us the remaining options. Our car was done on time for the price we agreed too. And he gave us a two year twenty four thousand mile warranty. Couldn't ask for more.
Would not recommend they don't honor there warranty had to go to different transmission shop to fix the problem that they said nothing was wrong dont recommend stay away
This place is a bunch of crooks, bad service, "dont take your car here", all reviews are done by themselves of friends, won't give them neither on star if I could.
My check engine light had came on and my transmission wasn't going into gear. I called Sam and had AAA come get my van to drop off at his shop. He went above and beyond to check out everything that could possibly be wrong. Kept me updated every step of the way. Very honest and great price for what he had to do with my transmission and abs module. Definitely recommend him to anyone that needs work done. I will be using him for now on as my mechanic. Can not thank you and your team enough! My van is shifting nicely and my brakes are easy to use without them being stiff.
Great service and honest prices! While Brooksville Transmissions lied to me saying “I don’t want to lie to you, it’s going to be $4500 for the repair.” After buying my truck back from them for almost $300, I came to Five Star and they found out it was only the transfer case and got it done for under $500. Thanks Five Star!

Allan mixed my two orders shipping labels up and he's trying to keep my $$ for a bellhousing I never received because he never delivered it to USPS. Don't order through Etsy from 5Star Transmission!
Five star is a perfect name we received amazing service and prices. My husband's truck needed a new transmission we shopped around all over and Five Star had the best price by far. Then we found there was a problem with the one they installed several weeks later. Without hesitation they had us bring it back and replaced it again at no charge. We drove from Palm Harbor to get this done which was over an hour drive because it was such an expensive repair. Now we will drive that far for all our repairs, there is nothing like finding a trust worthy mechanic.
I had my car towed there Saturday night. The parking lot and neighborhood was sketchy and there was no key drop. I called several times on Monday morning and there was no answer. I called Discount Transmission and had them pick up the my car and they fixed it.

I drive all the way from Brooksville to bring my car here. I literally won't take my Honda anywhere else. Sam is so super knowledgeable, and fair. He also has all kinds of cars and parts for sale too.
Gave us the wrong transmission and told us he would have the right one first of the week. Never called us back and would not answer his phone. Now stuck with the wrong transmission and car is still not fixed.
Very knowledgeable mechanics and the owner goes out of his way to quickly get you answers , parts and repairs faster than any other place I've been in pasco. Highly recommended for their great service at this place.
