Management staff with very helpful repair crews are very competent I was totally and completely satisfied with my service

I took my truck in Monday morning to have some bodywork on my drive-side door, rear driver's side door, and rear-side fender. I just got a call that my vehicle is ready to go and I can come by and pick it up. Outstanding job to the bodyman whom I didn't get the name of; you did an amazing job, and to my brother Dennis Welch for the awesome detail work. Special thanks to the staff for your hard work and dedication. I highly recommend Five Star Collision Center for your bodywork and, of course, the detailing.

First, I want to say how amazing the communication between 5 Star and their clients are! Everytime, and no matter how many times I had to call (even when it was back to back) they were sweet and patient with me!! Secondly, unfortunately they couldn’t fix my car due to it being an older model, so I didn’t have to pay my deductible!! They even fixed it up the best they could AT NO PRICE! I definitely recommend this body shop to EVERYONE! They treat you like family, and they don’t make you feel like you’re bothering them! Thank you 5 Star for helping my car look decent, and treating me like family! ❤️

Hands down Winner for Best Customer Support!!! Went out of their way to cover Subaru expenses that the insurance wasn't willing to pay. They mean it, when they say, they WILL Take Care of You!

Take your car elsewhere this place is over charging people like crazy! If your insurance is paying awesome! But if you’re paying out of pocket take it somewhere else! Insurance companies should investigate how much this place is charging people! See the attached photo! The lady in the office who built the quote said they are not ordering any parts for it but as you can see 458 dollars on parts. 11.8 hours of body labor to remove the bumper and quarter fender and then to reinstall it! (It take 1 hour maybe to remove both and 1 hour maybe to reinstall the bumber and quarter fender) Then charging 9.2 hours to paint a bumper and quarter fender. (9.2 hours to paint a bumper and a quarter fender ) Then charging mechanical labor when it’s a bumper and quarter fender! No mechanical labor involved! (It’s a scratch on the bumper and quarter fender) Then they are charging 414 dollars in paint! It does not cost 414 dollars of paint to paint a bumper and quarter fender! MIND BLOWN! and she looked me in the eyes and said yes that’s what it costs to fix 2 scratches on the bumper and quarter fender! Update! I will not remove the posting! Considering I have an estimate and a picture of the estimate you wrote! I would want the review removed also when someone finally called you out for over charging people! I wonder if insurance companies realize how much you are over charging people! This Also Explains the only good reviews they have trying to black mail people who leave negative reviews! That explains the getting away with overcharging people! Seems like Most people like me and I am an enjoyable person! Matt saw my husband carrying a car battery out of Auto store about to walk .2 miles to our broken down car. He gave us a ride. He was the friendliest person, put us in touch with a tow truck business and mechanic. He didn’t have to do any of that but he did. So impressed with this, we were on vacay and it is nice to know there are kind folks like Matt to help out. THANK YOU MATT!

Matt & the crew are truly a five star operation! Best service center on the Forgotten coast of Florida. No hassle of dealing with a dealership service, just good honest business going on in this location. The front desk from start to finish was completely professional. Could not recommend a better establishment for vehicle needs than five star! Thanks again Matt & the whole five star Crew.

The body work is great however... While having body work done, Someone at 5 star made an error and now my car has no power steering and a few other major engine issues that it didn't have before I dropped it off. When asked, the owner said he would handle it, I told him that he's more than welcome to make this right but I did not trust him anymore and was not leaving my car in his care. He then deemed my car unsafe for the road so I couldn't drive it away. The same day he called me to pick up my car, he deemed it unsafe... WHAT?! I then tried filling a report through the sheriff's office for the damage he had done but that failed do to the the "small town buddy system"... I tried calling a lawyer but he wouldn't help because he and the owner go way back... another fail do to "the small town buddy system." I ended up having to pay for my car to be towed to my home. I do not trust these people.. I will never recommend them to anyone. They damaged my car so bad that It was deemed unsafe to drive away and had to be towed out of there. The county officer told me I was causing a disturbance on private property and threatened to put me in handcuffs. This business is ran by crooks and has the backing of the people that are supposed to help you when these issues arise. Take you're car here at your own risk.. Response to the reply- You are more than welcome to fix what you broke but on my terms. The facts remain, You let me drive off of your lot with power steering failure, break failure, and issues with the engine that are yet to be determined. I could have seriously injured myself or someone else. Nearly $5000, 10 days and I have to tow my 2018 toyota home. If You think I'm going to trust you with my car after the damages it received in your care then your a fool. Your other reviews mean nothing to me and do not accurately reflect my experience with your shop. I hope you do give 5 star quality work to every customer and they don't have to go through what I'm being put through because of you.

Very happy with 5 Star! I have taken my car here twice after minor accidents and the insurance process was seamless. You can't even tell there was ever damage! They really stand behind their work, too. I had to have a door replaced on a car that was no longer made, and the fit was a little difficult to get just right. I took it back and they went above and beyond to fit us in that day to adjust it. Exceptional customer service that you won't find often these days!

Really good people! Ran over a nail and was losing air pressure fast with no where to air up and had to make it back to Apalachicola. 5 star took a look at the tire and plugged it for free! They’ve been helping people out since the hurricane, amazing members of the community!

What a pleasant experience! My car was involved in a minor accident and the kind folks at 5 Star were able to squeeze me into the schedule rather quickly. Fantastic Place! Friendly, Efficient, and Skilled. Would Highly Recommend! Matthew (owner) is the best, nicest man ever. I thank him & 5 Star from the bottom of my heart for their help. I'm visiting Apalachicola, FL from out of state (MD). Everything's going great until one day my driver's door lock/latch strangely breaks. Car is telling me "Driver's Door Ajar", and the door won't lock properly. Overall, not good. I'm panic-ing, trying to find anyone nearby who can fix it before I have to leave for Miami in 2 days. After making MANY calls, I finally find BJ's Auto Repair who then refer me to 5 Star. I call ahead, tell them my problem, and they say come on down and we'll take a look. My family and I arrive there (30 min drive). The second we walk in the front door, we are greeted by Matthew, who is awesome. He walks with me to my car, takes a look at it, says it's the latch (says "it's an easy fix" thankfully), and tells me to come back in 20 minutes. Sure enough, we come back about 30 minutes later (we visited the local Light House), and the car is done and good as NEW. Perfection! I then go to pay, and there's no bill/ticket. He did it free of charge. (what a kind soul! Much appreciated sir <3). Thank you very much & Go to 5 Star for any/all of your car repair needs, and I'm sure they'll take great care of you and your car (just like me).

Absolutely the best!!! You will not be disappointed! I received above and beyond customer service while using 5 Star Collision Centre’. This was my first experience in having my car in an accident so it was my first experience using a body and repair shop. They where able to make this a pleasurable and absolutely simple process for me. They went above and beyond any expectations that I had. My vehicle looks better now than before the accident! Super fast service, my car was in and out of the shop without me having to worry about a car rental. It was such a pleasure to work with such kind and honest people. Sincerely grateful to have had this experience with them. I hope I don’t need anymore body repair services but if I do, they will be my first call.

Simply put, this is a great body shop. Their work is always the highest quality. Unfortunately, I have had to use them several times and each time their work was outstanding. In addition, they are great people to work with. We are so fortunate to have them in our area. If you need auto body work, don't waste your time going to Panama City or Tallahassee. The best is right here.

If there was a higher than 5 star rating, I would have selected it. Matt and his team were professional, efficient, customer friendly, thorough and the body shop was absolutely immaculate. I had the unfortunate experience of driving through spilled white paint in the road in Wewahitcha. There wasn't any way to avoid it. I have a red Ford Edge, so you can imagine what it looked like with white paint splattered all over the passenger side doors, all over the wheels, completely covered the black trim below the doors, and the wheel wells were solid white instead of black. As I was from out of town, I didn't know where to go to get help. They were recommended by one of the owners of Carpet Country, and I immediately drove there. When I showed the owner what happened, he personally took my car and pressured washed all the white paint off himself! I was so relieved! He told me if I had waited much longer, it would have been too late to just rinse it off! He saved the day for me! Thanks so much!!!

The owner and staff at 5 Star Collision Centre live up to their business name. I recently brought my Chevy Tahoe in for significant rust repair. The body work was perfectly done and the car looks new again. I would highly recommend 5 Star Collision Centre to family, friends and anyone who wants quality body repair service.

We had a perfect 5 star experience at 5 Star Collision Centre! Our car was damaged during a wind storm and was covered with scratches and dings from flying roof shingles and branches. Matt was friendly, professional and answered all our questions in detail. It was easy to schedule an appointment and the car was ready when promised. Most important, it looked fabulous--as good as the day we got it. The paint job was perfect and the car had been washed and cleaned on the inside as well. 5 Star Collision Centre gets our highest recommendation!!

My wife's BMW got rammed from behind and needed a new bumper, trunk lit etc. 5 Star Collision took care of it all from insurance to matching the paint color on our 10 year old car! Matthew and his team did an excellent job and their service and knowhow is best-in-class!
