Very good first experience. Picked East Hill (12th Ave location) for sudden engine problems with our 2015 RAV4 because of convenient location and mostly favorable online reviews. We were able to get quick service appointment, and communication was excellent. Problem (bad fuel injector) was diagnosed, and repaired promptly. Very transparent about costs, and what was needed to diagnose and fix. Prices seem in line with current realities of auto repair. Will definitely use in the future.
I had a great experience with East Hill Automotive. They helped get my car back up and running quickly by replacing my alternator, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. They were professional, communicative, and honest about what needed to be done. I really appreciated their transparency and efficiency — it made a stressful situation much easier to handle. I had a great experience here. I have been needing someone I could trust with my vehicle and I feel I’ve found it here. It means something when the owner takes the time to get on the phone and have a conversation with you. He was very up front and honest with me about my best options.
I had a busted radiator. I filed with insurance for that part. Then I needed this and that..charged for services that absolutely DID NOT happen! Went in for oil change@3500 mi because of winter weather. I had no coolant, only water. There was a spider in my NEW radiator, and i was charged for a flush and coolant at EHA for $135.00 My Kia gets 18mpg now. And before a purge valve solenoid it was consistently getting 24+. My total was over 700.00 after insurance paid the 500 ded. I would absolutely never recommend them. Someone made a bad decision there. If they did this to me, they will do it to your momma or Grandma too.
I completed this review on another site. They diagnosed the problem and repaired it in record time. I have "trust" issues when dealing with mechanics but these guys were patient with me, not pushy or rude, and I will most certainly return to their shop should my vehicle need attention.
East Hill Automotive on 12th always does a great job with our vehicles and today was no exception. They fixed the air conditioning on my 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid quickly and at a very reasonable price. I dropped it off at 8:30 am and it was ready the same day on a Friday. I would give 0 stars if possible. Charged me $5,900 (all cash) to do an engine swatch on 5.7 hemi and they broke my AC and charged me almost $1,000 extra for it and then had the audacity to say “come back and we will fix it for you” never going back again!
Thank you for your response. You are correct, today makes 5 months exactly when I got my truck back. I got a call from your tech asking me if the AC was broken prior to bringing it in, I said no it wasn’t. He said it wasn’t working after the engine swap and that it was hooked to an aftermarket touch screen so he wasn’t sure if he could fix it. I was charged a $500 fee for him working on aftermarket parts and then he can’t fix it. I wasn’t too upset until I found out how much it would cost to fix it somewhere else and that I was already charged from East Hill for your tech to try to fix what was broken. I was also charged for a full AC charge and I can’t even use the AC. I just feel stuck in the water with how to fix it. A $500 refund for the $500 aftermarket fee would be fantastic! It would go straight to getting that fixed

I had an amazing experience at East Hill Automotive. I went in to have my tail light replaced, and they were incredibly generous — they took care of it quickly and didn’t even charge me. The staff was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about helping me out. It’s rare to find a shop that’s this honest and kind. These guys did me a solid! I had a flat tire & my spare had dry rot, so while I waited for less than an hour, they drove to a tire shop, got me a new tire & got me back on the road. I will definitely be back & highly recommend them. THANK you!
They allow your car to be dropped off outside of normal operations. I had an issue and they listened to my concern and provided me great customer service. It is obvious they are an establishment that takes pride in their customer service and it’s greatly appreciated. I would use their services in the future.

Ryan was great with handling my truck’s repair. The diagnosis was perfect and the repair was handled quickly. They are one of the few shops that I will trust to repair my vehicles.
Had an issue with my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee rough shifting from 2nd and 3rd gear. These guys diagnosed and fixed my baby in the same day and they didn’t break the bank. Thank you guys so much and will recommend to all friends. Jeep is riding so smooth you can’t even feel the gear shifts… just simply amazed.

Very positive experience. Professional, approachable, respectful, responsive. Needed plugs & coils, but they checked out other systems and discovered that brakes & rotors were needed (metal to metal!). Repairs were completed timely as told. Cost was very reasonable and competitive with the chain shops.
My pruis battery went out. Toyota wanted $7000.00 to fix. They walked me through the process of ordering a replacement and did the work quickly. Cost me half that. Would recommend for any hybrid work.

Love this place. I have been going here for a few years. I've gone to other places in a pinch and kick myself I didn't go to Easthill. Customer service is amazing and they really care. I was having car issues driving with my young daughter on 98 and they stayed on the phone with me to make sure I got home safely and had a tow truck first thing to take my car to their shop. Finding a mechanic you can trust is a rare thing this day in age. I’ve been bringing my cars up to East Hill for over a decade. I was taking them up there when it was still the old Tartan garage, I can say without question these guys know what they are doing and will do a good job. People always want to complain about pricing on everything, id rather pay a premium price for a premium product than try and go cheap and pay even double or triple because I was being cheap. Anyways, enough of this old man’s ramblings, I trust East Hill automotive and highly recommended them for anything you need done to your car.
It’s like having a family member own a mechanic shop. They treat you fair and do an amazing job. I take both my trucks there. Brakes, AC, alternators, you name it they can do anything. Amazing!!
