On November 25 2025 after going to W. Oakland Park Advanced Auto which didn't help not even looked up my information. I purchased an alternator in August and had a replacement. W. Oakland Park referred me to the store I purchased it from to do the replacement. I called and they said once I come in with my receipt and core I would have to wait 24 hrs to get which was out of the question because I purchased the alternator in Dania Beach. Mr. Santiago also said I can call the store on Pembroke Road and 411 the gentleman there verified that one was available and advised that I can also have it done closer to me. I told him I went to the store and they didn't help Mr. Issac or Me. Isaiah not sure of his name and a lady supervisor. ( W.Oakland Park) I would have to take two buses to get to 441 location to please hold it for me. Mr. Chester ( 441 ) location advised to call the store on W. Oakland Park and try again which I did. The person morning shift picked up and he helped me find another store which was on North University but didn't want to do the transaction for me even though I said I will wait till the next day to receive it. Called the N. University store manager Ms. Fiorella was very helpful and she and someone from Pembroke Road said that W. Oakland Park could do the transaction and W.Oakland didn't. I had to travel on two buses to get to N. University to get my core exchanged. ( Actually 4 buses two buses to go and two buses to return home.) Thank you to the advance in Dania Beach, Pembroke Road and N. University five stars each. W. Oakland Park. Mr. George helped my son with a battery situation which lead to my core need to be replaced. The night shift gave me a hard time to put the battery back in the vehicle. They did help with annoyance. Three stars for the morning staff and no stars for the night. I hope those employees get in a similar situation and treated the same way.( Those two from the night shift) .

This store is a joke. They wanted me to pay $150 for a battery replacement that was still within the 4 year replacement window. The first associate that started to help me acted like he was bothered by a battery test/replacement. The second associate that helped me after stated they could give me the gold edition but I had to pay a $150 “battery fee”. Their excuse was that they didn’t have that battery model anymore and I could be given a gold edition battery which was a model below the platinum that I had but somehow I had to pay. The associate stated she adjusted the price of the gold edition to match the platinum, which does not make sense if the gold edition is cheaper. I asked again why I had to pay for a replacement & I was told it’s a mandatory state fee associated with batteries. It just didn’t seem right & sounded like they wanted money for no reason. I went to a different advance auto store & the associates there had no questions or excuse for a battery replacement and went ahead and honored a free replacement. I wouldn’t trust this store again.

Overall, it was your typical trip to the auto parts store. I found what I needed without any hassle. The older gentleman at the register—possibly the manager—was pleasant and professional. There was one employee who could definitely use some improvement, but honestly, I wasn’t too surprised by that. If you’re in the area and need parts, it’s worth a stop. The selection isn’t massive, so it really depends on what you’re after. This spot and the nearby O’Reilly’s are both decent options depending on your preference.

I have visited this location for about 17 years and have seen how customer service has deteriorated constantly. Last time, one of the employees at the Sunday morning shift wanted me to park the car right by the door of the store. He just did not want to walk the extra 7 steps to the park8nf space. Fortunately, my car did not start, and he had to walk. I asked him why he wanted me to park in a prohibited fire line, and he just didn't day anything. To top off my bad experience, the lady at the same shift lacked any customer service. I had to buy a battery, but if I had had the chance, I would have gone somewhere else. That's exactly what I did 3 days later when I needed another car part.

I usually go to this location for all my car needs. There is usually a really nice and attentive young girl at the register that always helps. Today I went in to pick up a part I had ordered with her and I was met with the rudest staff I had seen since the McDonald’s drive through window. She was on her phone for 3 minutes before looking up and asking “y’all need help or something?” Last time I’ll go in there. I’m taking my business to O’Reillys or AutoZone. They got a better jingle anyways. O’ O’ O’ O’Reilly’s my new store.

Excellent service from Santiago, he is very friendly, kind and professional. We received a great service, and he helped us with our business. Congratulations to you, great staff. 👍

I went in to return an electrical part which I purchased. The person behind the counter said they could not take it back because it was electrical. Ray which is a district sales manager was behind the counter watching the whole thing. He looked at it and examined it. He was aware that it wasn't used and told the person behind the counter to refund the money.. I will go back there again. Thank you Ray

My wife and I stopped by to buy a battery on Saturday 5/30/2020 and experienced the worst customer service ever. We were being helped by a slim African American lady with very long braids who had an attitude from the minute we said hello. I'm never going back to that store and the corporate office needs to take the time to go check it out. Absolutely ridiculous

Sophia L has the best customer service I have ever seen! I brought the wrong tire nuts and when I returned them she went above and beyond to make sure I got the right parts this time. She took her time and did her research and even went to my car several times to check the fit of the nuts! She is amazing and the definition of great customer service!!!!!

Purchased oil online. Went to pick it up and was told they did not have the item. I was being assisted by a lady named Samaria. I tried asking for an exchange since the item was not available and they did not accommodate me even though this issue was on their behalf. Samarias attitude was not pleasant at all. Instead of fulfilling a customers needs, she did not care. So I will no longer be giving this store my business! Now having to wait on a refund. Pretty much purchasing twice which was not at all called for! Just ridiculous!

Employee named KeeKee was very rude and disrespectful. Never have I ever experienced such poor customer service anywhere prior. She should definitely not be employed at Advanced Auto or anywhere else. Clearly was never thought how to interact with customers respectfully

Store opens at 7:30am and I pull up at 9:05am to two employees outside. Asked what's going on? They both stated "I don't know." Followed up with, do you know what time you plan on opening? They stated, "I don't know." The 3rd employee that pulled up was of lesser help with any information. 2nd horrible experience at this location...avoid at all cost.

Customer service is important. I politely asked for splash guard fasteners and the guy was rude and didn't care. The young girl was polite and apologized. They didn't have it in stock. Im sad and disappointed.

Waited in line. Gentleman named Dave patiently helped the customer in front of me. Meanwhile, a group of employees gathered in the corner and elected to – rather than help me – gossip as if they were a high school clique. Once Dave was done with the other customer, he helped me with my item. He was great, especially with the prior customer who was kind of rude. When it was my turn, he got me the part I needed, and did so quickly. While he was cashing me out, one of the employees from that clique (perhaps his supervisor) suddenly yells out to Dave about not harassing employees about them coming in. Yelling. She was yelling. As if he just personally attacked her or her friend. Now I don't know Dave, he could be a good guy, could be a bad guy, but I could already tell he was mild-mannered and soft spoken. He quietly said he was just seeing when she was coming in. She yells again, repeating the same thing. This is an unacceptable way to conduct yourself around customers and to other people in general. If this is how supervisors treat their employees, or just how employees treat employees, then I don't think you shouldn't come here. Dave, get a better job.

Had a really good experience here today so I had to write a review, which I don’t normally do. I recommend asking for Anthony! He was so nice and helpful! I really appreciated it. He was the reason I was motivated to write this review today. Thanks Anthony!!

Store closed before 8pm. Seen a female employee with with a customer which I were able to get her attention and she waved me off. After being saw taken pictures she began to say again how she was not going to take me. After that I approached another employee whom was working on a car in the parking to get her name and after questioning me why he stated she was the manager and her name is L

Regular employee was helpful. Manager had a bad attitude and made us restart the whole search for all the parts because she wanted his computer and did not want to wait on a slow night. So I left. Went to the competition

After this trip to this particular Advanced Auto Parts store, I am positive that I am never coming back! I had asked for a battery replacement under the battery’s warranty. Unfortunately, the negative reviews about a certain employee at this store is ALL TRUE. The dark skinned lady with tattoos all over her arms(you will know who I am talking about once you set a foot into that store) was condescending, RUDE, SNAPPY and just plain unprofessional. She does not know what she is doing! Within 5 seconds of meeting me at the counter, her demeanor went from irritable to nasty. Forget about customer service, there is none. All she will say is “just go to the mechanic.” Luckily, there was a second employee who was willing to intervene and looked at the readings on the battery and finally made the decision to replace the battery. For those of you asking to use your battery warranty just forget about going to this place. Most likely, this lady employee will prevent you from utilizing it!

A nice guy named Anthony or Bailey did an excellent job. Thought I heard people call him Anthony, but his shirt said a different name. Well spoken, nice, and swapped out my battery quickly while cleaning the area around it. Thank you

On the night of 12/4/2018 at 7:40 pm, Employee: Karistan T. gave me deplorable customer service. She was rude, snide, and gave me a very snarky remark. This is typically a solid location and pretty much the only auto parts store in the immediate area so its my go to location. I also live in the immediate area and this is the way she chooses to treat a consistent returning customer??? I really don't understand why I always have customer service issues at this location. It really needs to improve or hire better professional people. I'd really like to hear back from the store owner or the corporate office...there is no link on the direct website to contact corporate office to file a complaint.

Great crew. Manager is super caring about your needs. Ask for Anthony by name. He wont steer you wrong. Oil changes, tune ups. This is the store for all your automotive needs. Go on in and get it all. Try their online discount program tooooo!

Worst place ! It was my first visit ! I have 2015 corolla . Battery light pops up . I came tot his place . Without looking or testing he said need alternator!!!! I said what are you kidding me ? You’ve tested out how can you say that . I told him to test it with your device , then came out that need to replace battery , then after I go with same person to barrow tools , he said we don’t give tools anymore ! Even it’s still on there windows

Andre at this store is very friendly and professional. Most other Advance stores, I have had a bad experience. Their prices are higher than Auto Zone and they usually don't have what you need in stock. I switched to Auto Zone...better service and value for your money.

I needed to hey something really quick, and there was only two people working on the floor with one in the back. I asked the one on the neck if they can assist, and she told me I have to wait for the other, both of whom were extremely busy. She did not care that I only had one item. It took almost 20 minutes for me to pay for one item I found within 2 minutes.
