Love harbor freight but had a bad experience with the cashier here today unfortunately. Customer service training is needed, or maybe she just had a bad day but the attitude toward me was unjustified and unprofessional.
It's a budget tool place. No thrills or frills about what buy here. If you need an affordable tools. Thus is the place, they have three tier tools price. They have good, better and the best. Depending what you can afford, you pick a tier. It resolved you budget issues if you have one.
They weresold out of the blk 11" zip ties , yeah I found everything else I needed there were more than happy to help me locate the things I was looking for he tried to see if they had any zip ties in the back for me which is super awesome and we also look to see if you guys sold individual masonry bits which they didn't but it's all good I got to pack it's inexpensive love Harbor Freight
Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in any business in my life. Worst management. I bought a chainsaw on August 16 try to use it in August 17 chainsaw would not turn on. I returned The chainsaw to store and was informed by the store management they do not have any more in stock. The closest store that has it is over 30 minutes away.. I told management that I’m not willing to drive 30 minutes for a chainsaw. I was informed that that’s my only choice or return it and pay a restocking fee for an item I’ve never use. Management had the audacity to tell me that it’s Sunday and I can take alleged ride to pick it up and walk off. This is how we treat customers unbelievable. I even offer management to order chainsaw and I will come back and pick it up another day once again. I was told we don’t order for nobody. There is no more choices. The assistant manager process the returned with the restocking fee and tell me we gave you options.
So my options are drive 30 minutes each way or pay $40 an equipment that did not work the first time I bought it. The biggest problem with my experience it’s a lack of help. I was basically told take what we give you or I get out of the store.
This use to be my favorite tool store, #nomore Google AI review may say a mixed bag of reviews should be empty bag of positive reivews. Here is the issue, it is all about a matter of principle now.
I do not live near any harbor freight, for me it is a special occasion and when I leave the place it is usually with several hundred dollars to a near thousand dollars of tools, But they have lost me forever as a customer, not only to this store, probably to the whole brand. I had a list of items to pick up and it was great that one item I was really interested in ( blue in Color) was on their website on sale and available in store . I showed up at nearly door opening time. They did not have the item in store, I was told I need to go to another store, nowhere specific mind you, but this is the closet Harbor freight to me and it is already a 45 minute drive to get here. So this item I was interested in, I asked for a rain check. nope no rain check, I need to to go another store. I asked if the other store can ship it to this store, then I will make a special trip here. Nope I need to go to another store, I asked again, Are you sure there is no rain check, the person Responded, I am talking to to the manager right now and he says "No rain check". Ok. problem solved. The items I wanted to buy, I put it all back where I found them. walked out the door. stopped at Lowes bought what was originally at sale at Harbor Freight and spent about $300 on something similar ( a little more money , but it is now principle). the others items I stopped at home depot on the way home spent about $300 on those items, the rest on amazon for another $250. This store lost about $800-$1000 worth of sales in about 10 minutes and a customer for life at the same time.
At this point, my money goers to to Home Depot, Lowes and Amazon ( maybe Ace on occasion)
Lastly, I will flagging all marketing emails from harbor freight as spam of specials and so on, you may just want to remove me from your email list - One store killed the brand.
This tool shop is a real gem! It’s a bit smaller than the big-name spots, but it’s super clean and everything’s laid out in a smart, easy-to-find way. The prices are solid, which is always a win. It’s got that friendly, local feel that makes you want to support it. I’ll definitely be heading back next time I need tools!
They sell dangerous products and charge you a restocking fee when you go to return it. I bought a paint sprayer from this store, assembled and prepared it directly according to the instructions. Once set up, the spray gun was conducting electricity and shocked my hand. They would not take the paint Sprayer back without charging me a restocking fee. I am reporting them so that this product can be recalled. It should not even be for sale.
Best tool shop by far. Great tools at affordable prices..since finding HF we seldom shop for tools elsewhere. Shawn and Megan and the other staff members are always so welcoming and helpful. While we shop at other HF this location is our favorite. Almost always has what we need in stock and willing to go the extra mile to locate it if not. 2 thumbs up . I highly recommend this place

After this store gave me the wrong directions to it, as they apparently don't know East from West,
I went in to look for a power tool I'm not familiar with. I found someone to help but unfortunately the employee failed to tell me that I needed an additional item for this tool and I left the store for home without it. I will not be completing my project today.
It was obvious in asking questions about this item that I was far from being an expert on its operation, but the associate was either uneducated and/ or his desire to help was limited.
Furthermore, at checkout, the cashier was blunt and rude, for no reason.
Needless to say, it's doubtful that I will ever shop at this store again. Not a good experience.
This store always has what I need for any job. The tools over the years have come leaps and bounds . I have owned a corded Chicago reciprocating saw for over 15 years, bought it for $9.99. Every component has fallen off , it’s held together with tape but the thing still works!!
Addictive selection with some very good deals. They offer frequent specials, which is a double-edged sword when you make a purchase but maybe a bit too soon you feel you overpaid. Do watch out for some bargain offering of questionable quality. Love their house power tool brand, Hercules.
I’m going to be very brief- this store is way up and above my initial expectations. Perfectly organized, fully stocked, clean and inviting. Mgr. JUAN personally went out of his way to help with my needs. Also- their products are quite affordable and do the job well. All of the personnel are a reflection of their Management and deserve a . They had an excellent sale on a 10-gun rifle storage safe I needed. I wanted to see the actual unit, so the gentleman working led me to it so I could see it real quick. It's nice. Same gentleman grabbed the new one in the package from the back of the store and even wheeled it to my truck for me with his dolly. Great experience, great product.
Harbor freight is a good place for discount tools and home and hardware supplies. If you get the app or sign up online you get coupons for even more savings. Or join the Harbor freight members club for special members only offers. Use the Harbor freight credit card and earn 5 percent rewards. They offer two tiers of tools. A very low price version for homeowner use and a higher price version for professional contractor use. Depending on how much I anticipate using the tool I buy in both tiers and with few exceptions have not been disappointed. You can always read the detailed product reviews online to determine which version is best for you. Over the last ten years I figure to have saved thousands buying both for commercial business and home use. Sanders, grinders, power saws, table saws, routers, sand blaster, pumps, power plumbing snakes, power drills, impact drivers, compressors, and all the associated supplies needed for those tools, plus hand tools, socket, screwdriver, wrench, and pliers sets, canopy systems and tarps, hardware and household supplies. Definitely a good alternative to Home Depot or Lowe's. The store staff have always been polite and helpful even when I ask stupid questions.
OMG. This place is amazing. This place is dangerous for a man to enter with all the tools and great prices. I walked in only to buy a fish tape but I walked out with a ton of stuff and I only spent $100 bucks. The staff was great and helpful. Definitely recommend this place and I will be going back myself. Keep up the good work. Amazing
I needed a tarp to cover a backyard shed whose roof was in jeopardy because of the recent heavy rains. I was pleasantly surprised. their prices are more than reasonable. While I was looking for the item one staff member even asked how he could help. That's kind of rare these days. I will go back to this store for sure.
I love Harbor Freight tools! I discovered it when I was heavy into fixing up my pickup truck. I bought many tools here at a affordable price. The staff are helpful and very knowledgeable. Other items that I often purchase from here are packs of disposable masks (10 for $1.99) and a variety batteries for less than 3 bucks for a pack of 24. They often have coupons and sales definitely stop by to check it out.
Holy Smokes... This store has been open since January 2020 and I never went there. Stopped by today for a set of combination wrenches and WOW..... What a beautiful place. Incredible selection of almost everything that you could ever need for any DIY project you can imagine. Spotlessly clean, organized, helpful staff, great prices, and so many things that I need and some things I didn't know I need but do now. Just stop by and see for yourself. This is a Toys R Us for Men and Women,,,, but mostly Men. Lol. If they had a snack bar I'd still be there. I'm truly impressed.
Oh, and bilingual staff. English/Spanish at least.

Excellent help today from Lydia and Edgar. Huge new store very much needed for the Sunrise community. Don't forget your coupons and a free light too. We will return again for more tools and hardware.
