The equipment van popped a tire on the turnpike and unfortunately I didn’t have a spare I guess it was absent on flat tire day!! lol Called emerald and spoke to Mike in dispatch he got us picked up by a driver named Eddie and man was I impressed you could eat off the floor in his truck it was immaculate I and he was there to pick me up in what felt like 7 minutes after I hung up with Mike! I will only call emerald from now on thank you Emerald!!!
Extremely dissapointing experience…Here I read a review that said the Car title was not on the vehículo… The same trick was played on me... They told me the car title wasn’t available and gave me the address of a nearby place to go buy a copy, saying they wouldn’t assist me otherwise. It’s a tactic to waste time until closing hours so the vehicle stays longer at their location. The next day I went to retrieve my vehicle, and the person who attended me was the same as the day before—very rude and with a racist attitude. They questioned why I was picking up the vehicle myself, saying it should be the insurance company doing it (of course, after several days). That’s the trap. They charged me $656 for towing and one night of storage. You’re forced to pay, and they take your card details. Coincidentally, the next day my card was used for purchases I didn’t make—about $200—so I had to report it to the bank. I’m not saying it was them, but it’s suspicious that it happened right after I paid them. Truly outrageous—after going through a car accident, they hit your wallet even harder.
If by any chance your vehicle ends up at this place, run and get it out as soon as possible.
Most of these tow companies lie to customers and prey on their vulnerability after an accident. They often take vehicles to body shops they’re affiliated with—shops that charge outrageously high storage and administrative fees. This exact situation happened to me recently. After my accident, I asked the tow driver where he planned to take my vehicle. He immediately reassured me, saying, “Don’t worry, we don’t take it to places that charge ridiculous prices.” The moment he said that, I knew something wasn’t right.
Fast forward two days later, my insurance company was hit with a $3,500 storage bill for just two days of storage at the shop he chose. These practices are unethical, manipulative, and take advantage of people when they’re already under stress.
The shops they use are just as unethical. Broward bodyworks.

Long sigh! That’s how my morning was! I actually didn’t call Emerald the police officers did but man am I happy they use them. Luke was amazzzzzzzing! Very informative and just a pleasure to ride with! They, mainly he, made my morning a little lighter and just want to thank him AND the driver. Great people.
My vehicle was towed by this company after an accident. When I arrived at their facility to sign the vehicle over to my insurance company and pick up my belongings, I was advised that I would not be able allowed to do either of those things without my registration. Totally understandable. However, I advised them that my registration was in my car and I requested that they check. The lady in the front (I don’t recall her name) stated that they checked the vehicle and my registration was not in the car. I advised that that was impossible, and I asked if they would check again. She responded by saying that they are trained to thoroughly search the vehicle and my registration was NOT in the vehicle. She refused to have the gentleman to check again. She rudely advised that in order to move forward, I had to go to a tag agency to obtain a copy of my registration, which I did…only to FINALLY get access to vehicle and guess what’s the first thing I saw???? MY CURRENT vehicle registration. To say that I was livid, is an understatement. My vehicle is now forced to stay at their facility for an additional three days because by the time this was all resolved (this took almost 4 hours), they were about to close (this took place on a Friday). I would not recommend this company to anyone. Dealing with an accident is horrible enough but to then have to deal with an unprofessional and money hungry tow yard makes the situation 30x worse.
Workers in the building are so rude! The lady with short blonde /brown mixed hair does not like her job at all. She is so unwelcoming and not helpful. She has no customer service skills . When asking her to clarify the information she was giving me she continued being rude by ignoring me and then telling me to just email the company. If it’s your first time being towed and you need genuine help and guidance good luck!
This place made a bad situation better when the bacon towed my bike. Effie was absolutely mazing! Stayed open late for me to get there so I didn't have to pay another day! I LOVE EFFIE!!!!!!!
I would like to share the experience with Anthony Sean-Paul who did an amazing job getting our vehicle home. The time that was expected for pick up was about 45min- an hour and with surprise 6 mins he arrived! Anthony was very pleasant and fast with the service. I would definitely recommend Emerald if you need any services. Thank you again!

This company picked up my stolen scooter, and refused to give it back to me unless I jump through hoops and pay them a daily fee I am the victim I have a case number with the police but it doesn't matter to them because all they are about is taking people's money who've already been ripped off for all I know they're the ones that stole it in the first place. I would rate these people as nothing but bald faced Crooks and I wish there was a law protecting the victim of robbery but these people are predatory, and couldn't care less about anything else but stuffing their pockets with other people's misfortune
I was stuck in a parking lot with a dead battery and Emerald Towing came to the rescue! I was overwhelmed and I may not have their names right…but I was back up and running in minutes and the two guys, Erik and Andy, were so kind and helpful. They were on their lunch break and didn’t hesitate to help. Not only did they jump the car, but they gave me advice how to prevent it from happening again. There are still good people out there and Emerald Towing has 2 on their staff! Thanks!
Luke towed my car a few months ago abs was a lifesaver!! He went above and beyond, was professional and responsible! I hope I don’t ever need him again but if I do, I will gladly call him!
I had the driver fransico it was a amazing experience, he was there in under 10 mins of the call and super easy to talk too. I had my car stolen and thank God they found it, even tho my battery was dead he helped me jump start it and everything. Would recommend and I will be returning customer
Great service, the gentleman that came to assist me in towing my car was very professional and cared about my car. Did not damage it and use the proper equipment to make sure. The price was fair, I wasn't stranded on the side of the road for hours, not. Your typical tow company was very professional. Laz, ty for towing my beast.
Jorge from Emerald towing picked up my crushed CRV, but treated me and my vehicle like I just stepped out of a Bentley. During our chat we found out we were both from NJ and had a few laughs and for a brief moment I forgot I was just in a 5-car accident.
