I am in a rare position to have had to utilize towing services more than I would like because I have 2 sons that think they are mechanics and who make bad life decisions. Over the past 4 years I have had to call a towing service somewhere around 8 times. Five of those eight were with this family owned and operated company. Helmer is fantastic and even came out on his day off in the torrential rain to get my son’s car. The only complaint I may have is that they don’t offer a frequently towed coupon book or something where you get towed 4 times and get one free. But again, I’m a rare case. Hopefully most people are not frequent or return customers, but if you find yourself in need of towing service, I highly recommend calling these guys first.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Just tried calling this guy and he automatically hung up after I was trying to give him information of my location. Because he thought he heard my husband on a phone call with a different company however that was not true. Maybe if he let me finished he would find out our situation. Rude, horrible experience don’t give money to a company like this!

I had a tire blow out off the side of i75. Called Carlos and he told me he’d be available in an hour or so. Left the car and continued to work in the nearby area. When Carlos was ready I met him nearby and we went to pick up the car. Took me and the vehicle home at a fair price! No BS and a straight service. Would definitely do business again!

What started off as a terrible afternoon ended in one of the best customer service experiences I have EVER had thanks to Carlo. The day before I called Broward County Towing & Recovery Inc, I had taken my car in to the mechanic to get an oil change and some other services done. The next day, as I’m driving home from work (a 20 mile drive), I notice that my temperature gauge is so far to the right that I’m surprised it didn’t just fall off. My car was overheating..bad. I immediately pulled over and called the mechanic who told me I needed to have it towed to them on their dime (also a 20 mile drive). They couldn’t suggest a tow company so I googled ones nearby and found the amazing people at Broward County Towing & Recovery Inc. Carlo got to me in about 20 minutes or so and asked me what was going on. I told him the story and he hooked my car up to be towed, pulled over to the side of the parking lot we were in (to let other cars pass) and told me he wanted to check under the hood because he had an idea of what had happened. Low and behold, he was right - the mechanic didn’t put the cap on the coolant reservoir correctly and it all leaked out!! My car was running on no coolant!! Luckily I pulled over when I did or the damage could’ve been irreversible. Carlo told me to take pictures of how the cap was before we took off so I could show the mechanic. He didn’t want them to try and weasel their way out of it. When we got to the mechanic, Carlo talked to them on my behalf and explained what he thinks happened AND on top of that, he stayed with me the entire time they worked on my car to make sure they did the job correctly and that they didn’t take advantage of me. He did not need to do that at all but he could tell I was clueless about cars and he didn’t want to leave me there without help. That alone speaks volumes as to the type of individuals at Broward County Towing & Recovery Inc and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I’ve told my family and friends about this experience and any time I need a tow in the future, there’s no one else I am calling. Thank you!

After my Ferrari 550 blew a coolant hose, I called “Ben’s towing” another operator in the area who asked for my payment info (not a problem) and a copy of my photo ID (a big problem) over the phone.
My next call was to Broward County Towing. The guy who took my call was efficient and polite. He gave me a realistic (and very reasonable) timeframe which was met, and the guys who showed up were friendly, professional and careful with the car. I had to redirect the car to another shop after they get the car loaded and it was no problem. Thanks guys!
Carlos was very nice. He came to me promptly. And gave great conversation. Brought the car back to my apartment and was careful putting it down and followed my instruction as to how I wanted it parked. And the price was more than fair. Came through in the clutch. I recommend anyone in the pines area, who would want a similar experience I had to tow with these guys. The dispatcher was friendly as well.
To start off, coming from Coral Gables and becoming stranded in the middle of Miramar (25 mile distance) is not a fun way to spend a rainy day. I had called this company ( Broward County Towing and Recovery) and Carlos, the man on the phone, did not beat around the bush. Immediately I was asked what was the situation , where I was located and where I needed to get, whether my vehicle was 4 wheel drive or not , and with no hesitation I was given a flat rate and quoted a time of 35-45 minutes. I received a text from Carlos to my cell in regards to send my most accurate location.
When it comes to recovery service you should know to give 15 minutes leniency past quote time so I expected an hour, but to my surprise he came in 27 minutes. Even though I was driving a beater , Carlos took great care of it, and was very respectful to my friends as well. During the ride we got to know a bit about him and that he is extremely fond of his children and that he runs the tow company with his brother Albert.
He got to learn a couple things from us and how we were going up for a concert as a gift for my girlfriend and the fact that I needed to abandon the plan to get the car situation figured out. I never knew a tow truck driver could be so empathetic, Carlos managed to turn a disaster for my friends into a great memory and story no one would believe. After he dropped my car, he helped me start it and maneuvered it where I needed. After I paid for the immaculate service, because I can’t stress how seamless it all was, he really put a cherry on top by offering to take us all back up to where our concert was held. On the ride up everyone was laughing and had smiles across their faces thanks to Carlos.
I will stand by saying that this experience would’ve never been made possible with another wrecking company.

Furthermore, he was nice enough to advise me of the standard price of towing my car. Only an honest person would tell me I was over charged by another company. I will only go to Carlos if the situation arises. Kudos yo you guys!!
I usually don’t ever post reviews, but as im waiting to board a flight with my family i had to. I called to have my fathers car towed yesterday and in less than 20 mins Carlos showed up. His service is beyond 5 stars. He was professional and friendly with my 78 year old father who was very nervousr about his car not working. In no time he had him home safe and also was kind enough to follow up with me. Carlos thank you for your great service! I will definitely call you whenever your service is needed.

Great service! I had a tough call, lost key to the vehicle (parked in a tight storage space). The driver was able to get the door open and towed it to my destination. Great knowledge of cars and great service. Called 13 other providers and they wouldn't even touch the car given the tough condition. Highly recommended.
Saying that David and his team went above and beyond is an understatement. From start to finish, their professionalism and willingness to do whatever is necessary was very, very impressive. We were transporting a Chevy Tahoe from Miami back to Atlanta and besides the logistics problems we faced, they had to get the vehicle out of a packed lot without it being able to roll. I would highly recommend this company for any of your towing needs. They take great pride in their work and put their customers first. Excellent job!!!
