Was at Gold Coast yesterday, October 21st, 2025. Went to get my transmission fluid changed on my Ram pickup truck. Dealt with Jesse. Really nice guy! Everyone got there on time to open up the shop. Everyone is very friendly and the job was done in a timely manner. Thank you guys!

Everyone was very friendly knowledgeable and very professional. The waiting room is incredible. I'll be going there again and I'm going to recommend it to all my friends. Fix my car better than a dealer in more ways than one. Thank you everybody at Gold Coast. Especially Adam thanks again sir.

Initially I was afraid to come to this place. I thought I had a transmission issue. They quickly diagnosed it that it wasn’t. Just axles and some other minor things. Adam was awesome keeping me informed throughout the repair process. I will be definitely be coming back to this place.

Stay away from these guys. I know they spend tons of money advertising and have a fancy building but they pay for all this by making you pay for repairs you don’t need. I brought my van in because the transmission wouldn’t shift into last gear. I was told by them that they needed to diagnose and after paying $895 to diagnose they told me it would be $6000 to fix. I told them to give me back my van and they said it would not run if they did since it was torn down. I was forced into paying them. After picking up the van, it drove exactly the way it did when I brought it there. Fuming mad, I took it back to them and they said the problem was a timing issue and they don’t work on issues like that. I was totally taken. Hopefully I can get restitution in the courts.

I was a six hour drive from home when my transmission exploded. After some internet research, I decided to call Gold Coast in dania beach. It was the right call. Adam was very professional and helped me out the whole way through. He towed my car for me, explained the diagnostic results and was very sympathetic to my situation. They had to rebuild my transmission, which is a big job, but was able to get my car back to me in a reasonable time. They even gave me a ride to the shop. Would definitely recommend.

Don’t like the fact if your vehicle is not finished by Thursday…you have to wait till Monday to do anything…other than that my experience has been great

Jesse at the State Road 84 location is the man ! He and his team are phenominal.If I could give a higher rating, I would. This team is honest, straight forward and truly care about the customer. More then willing to help in anyway that they can. These qualities to include the workmanship are hard to find in South Florida. No wonder that they have expanded to other locations and are successful. Gold Coast will absolutely handle my needs in the future.

Everyone there I spoke to are AMAZING, extremely helpful, I felt they were honest and very calming when telling me UNFORTUNATELY probably time to get a new car! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Gold Coast on ravenswood BEFORE anyone else! Even office was very chill environment…. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Expensive and poor workmanship. Brought my Toyota in because the transmission was making a noise. After the "repair" the noise was gone, replaced with a new transmission issue. At least i know better than to bring it back a second time. Lesson learned

I had the best experience with Gold Coast Transmission. From Liz and Adam’s professionalism. It was the best experience I have ever had at any automotive business ever! I highly recommend them for all your automotive needs. And on a side note it is the cleanest and nicest building I have ever seen.

I’ve had service done on this vehicle 15 years ago with Gold Coast. The experience was great then but now even greater took it in for a clutch that would not engage. Had it towed by their tow company had it serviced and they serviced it without feeling that I was being taken advantage of they diagnosed it and did the work and that’s what I got Not overcharged or up charged I feel welcome and I feel like I’ve been taking care of the customer service is awesome.

The service was on point. It was an issue when I Attempted.to pick the car up. Manager Vince great guy said don't worry, he's taking care of it. You can ask no more than that. When a manager is not satisfied and wants to make it right.That's a good sign Can't wait to To pick the car up. 1965 Rambler, 770. Classic convertible.

My experience was beyond terrible. I brought my vehicle to Gold Coast for a rear-end noise. They diagnosed it as needing a complete rebuild with all new parts so I approved on the price and agreed terms of my unit being rebuilt with all new parts. Instead, they installed a used/junkyard unit without my approval and never made me aware. When I questioned why the rear end looked different before leaving the facility—it was freshly painted with junkyard markings—Vinnie claimed the axle assembly was easier to rebuild on a bench. This made no sense since Vinnie had previously shown me the damage while the axle was still in the truck, with its internals 90% disassembled on a workbench (photos attached). I had to leave for work at that moment, but I still felt uneasy, so I called Vinnie back to express my concerns. He said he would look into it and get back to me. Vinnie called back and explained that the technician who worked on my vehicle was fired, and no one quality-checked the work before I picked it up. The third story was that the new parts were on backorder, and someone made an executive decision to install a used/junk rear end instead. Vinnie, the manager, was fully aware of the situation and has acknowledged what happened and has asked me what will it take to make it right. I want all of my money back…That will make it right as I did not get the work we agreed on done. It's unacceptable to be taken advantage of like this. I trusted Vinnie, who assured me everything was brand new when I picked it up, but this was far from the truth. Ultimately, this is an inexcusable business practice. Adding to response to the BBB. This is so far from the truth. Attached is the response sent back to you regarding the BBB. This so far from the truth it's insane. Vinnie absolutely reassured me that this was all new parts installed. At no point during our interact and agreements did conversation come up of 2600$ plus labor for new parts. The agreement was 2600$ for new parts including labor. Vinnie knows the truth. The fact you are stating the reason why you put in a rebuilt unit when I picked it up to keep cost down shows that you never disclosed that to me until I picked it up. That conversation never happened when I picked it up! Good try. One would hope the truth is being told! When I asked Vinnie while I was still in the office why the rear end was different his response was it was rebuilt on the bench as it was easier. I asked again before I left again everything is new though and he said yes and shook my hand and I left. At no point while I was there picking up the vehicle was there a discussion of the unit being replaced with a third party rebuilt unit. When I pressed the situation after getting back to work he then stated that he will need to look into it and get back which he did only to state that the mechanic that worked on it was fired and unsure of what happened but will get to the bottom of it. On Monday morning I showed up to pick up my rotors from the original axle and and Vinnie assured me he is still looking into what happened. On Tuesday morning he called me back to let me know his boss has not gotten back to him on how to proceed with the situation and goes on to tell me the truth of what happened which was the parts where on back order and someone ordered a used/rebuilt unit. I told him at that point I have disputed my credit card charges until we figure this out. Vinnie called back 2 hours later to let me know that Gold Coast is willing to refund 750$ (not a credit) and extend the warranty for one additional year. I was so furious with the situation. The story you are stating to the phone calls you say you have recorded are a complete lie to the conversation I had with Vinnie. I signed that paper work stating rebuilt reared based on the conversations with Vinnie that it had new parts in it, reassured by Vinnie and rebuilt by Gold Coast transmission. Not a third party rebuilt unit. The fact that no higher ups have reached out by phone to have a conversation regarding this matter is crazy.

Was referred by my primary mechanic. Had a transmission control module replaced. The work was acceptable. However, my understanding was that Gold Coast did not let our primary mechanic know what was going on as promised. If you use their services, get a written estimate. Consumer beware.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Gold Coast Transmissions in Davie, FL. After experiencing a transmission issue with my 2017 Audi A3, I brought my car to this shop in December of last year. What ensued was a nightmare that lasted over six months and left me feeling frustrated and financially drained. Despite assurances from the shop that they could resolve the issue, they failed to do so repeatedly. The initial repair took far longer than promised, with the expected completion date missed due to delays in obtaining parts. When the repair was finally completed in February, the problem resurfaced within weeks. Despite my requests for a refund or to have the car transferred to an Audi dealership for proper servicing, the shop adamantly refused. Their lack of accountability and refusal to rectify the situation speaks volumes about their integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. I'm appalled by the lack of professionalism and competence displayed by Gold Coast Transmissions. As a loyal Audi owner, I expected better treatment and service. I strongly advise anyone considering this shop for automotive repairs to steer clear and seek reputable and reliable alternatives. Save yourself the frustration and avoid Gold Coast Transmissions at all costs.

I haven’t took my car there, but I spoke with the manager and I was impressed with his “real life” knowledge. Not like the dealers tell you to change your transmission fluid when you actually don’t need to. They saved me at least $1000 because they know what they are talking about. Do yourself a favor and call them before you do anything. By the way, they check your transmission fluid for free. Good luck!

Had a good experience with Gold Coast ..had them fix the transmission on our 26ft box truck. Vinnie took it again as it needed adjustment and fixed it again under warranty… Pleasure to work with them.

These are good people that do quality work. There are transmission experts that do it right and offer a warranty to backup their work. I had a bad deal buying a used Van and after they fixed it I feel like I came out on top. Will definitely return any time I need a transmission service or Repaired.

I'm usually hesitant on writing bad reviews because I believe not everything is the business fault, but I honestly felt taken advantage of by this company. I called regarding a problem with the transmission of my car, on the phone I was told they could help me, they were friendly, but they told me they couldn't give me a quote without reviewing the car, which is completely understandable, they offer to pay for the towing with the condition I did business with them, turns out that once they had my car, they told me I needed to pay $750 so they could run a diagnostic and check what was going wrong with it. I do not doubt maybe their expertise or quality of work, but as many comments and reviews here say, seems like a standard they do to charge that price to review the cars. This could have been disclosed to me prior to the towing when I asked about the price, but of course seemed like a great tricky-scammy business strategy to get my car towed there to eventually feel almost obligated to pay the 750, and if you don't go with them then you'll have to pay for the towing. The costumer service guys is not a very good listener either, gets impatient. Anyway, please be careful with these people, know they'll charge you 750 only to know what's wrong with your car, even if the issue turnes out to be a very simple fix. Don't get ripped off!

Gold Coast is awesome!! They towed my car for free so that I could get the work I needed done with them. I appreciated that. They did great work. Lis and Vinny were awesome at explaining what was going on with my car. The car ran great after they were done. My clutch was better than ever. I definitely recommend them if you have any transmission problems. Thanks!

Fast, courteous service. Great staff. They provided me with a courtesy ride home and picked me up when my car was ready. The driver, Charles was great, very customer oriented. My car is shifting perfectly. This business was recommended time by a friend and I will now recommend it to everyone who needs transmission work. They also do all kinds of mechanical work but I can't speak to that aspect as I did not partake in those services. However, I do trust them.

Professional shop that provides excellent service and stands behind their work. As a small business owner it was important for me to be able to look ahead and guarantee my vehicle would be available for at least the next two years. I went with Gold Coast for a transmission rebuild because I know they have been around for a long time and I wanted a shop that would back up their warranty. I am glad to say that is what they do! Original service was professional and fairly priced. I took it in for the 1 year check-up and they did a little extra tuning. Then at 23,000 miles from the original repair I had a failure due to a sensor. Brought it in not expecting much considering it was so close to the expiration of the warranty. Vehicle was ready the next day with no issue or charge. Easy, fast, ”Repair was covered by your warranty, no charge. Here is your key and paperwork, thank you.” Van is running great again and I am very pleased!
