SCAMMERS, STAY FAR AWAY!!! I spent thousands of dollar for my car to still not work right to this day, and given attitude on multiple occasions when coming in respectfully to question the repairs. I waited awhile to make this review just to confirm my suspicions. So I took my Chevy Cruze in there for multiple repairs. Mostly for turbo system issues. They replaced the charge pipe, turbo and intercooler. Worked fine for a week, then I had to go back to get a replacement charge pipe because “my radiator mount was broken” which other parts to “burn a hole in the charge pipe”. Mind you these were all separately done, totaling well over 4k. But okay sure, idk how you couldn’t see that initially with the radiator you’re working next to and could see it’s “hanging sideways” or not, as they said.. anyway, I had them replace the radiator and I inspected their work because I became suspicious of their work and integrity. Especially after one of the main mechanics was giving me attitude on two different occasions. If the radiator was new it would’ve looked just like the new intercooler below it, and mind you I payed MORE for ALL these parts than what it would cost from the dealership (OEM) because they “have to use their own supplier”. I had it looked at by another mechanic and they said it was either never done or they put a used one in there. Before this I called and asked, did you guys replace the radiator with a new or used one, and they brushed me off, including the guy at the counter, gaslighting and just being short overall. I wouldn’t recommend this place, at all. And there’s no reason to go here since they don’t offer loaner vehicles anymore that was their main business model. Beware, these negative reviews are true. You’re better off going to a dealership even, with at least an ounce of accountability unlike these scammers. BEWARE!!

Recently took my car to them to fix my ac which was fixed a year n half ago. They honored what was covered by the warranty, and I had to cover what wasn’t ,however they broke 2 pieces of my dash when either taking the dash out or reinstalling it, plus grease all over my seats and the sides of the front windshield. When I spoke up about what I found I was told by the tech that it was broken when I brought it to them, which I said no it wasn’t. Sam told me to talk to the Mgr (Cody) on Monday . Spoke with him Monday and was told 3 times that there is a disclaimer they are not responsible for damages. I told him that’s bull no one even said anything about the damage I spotted it before I left the parking lot. Cody then looked at what I was telling him and had me bring my car to them when I can and they will take care things. I expressed to Cody I wasn’t happy and some type of compensation needs to be done for this he told me he would talk Zoe the owner. When my car was done Cody had Sam give me this see picture as compensation for what happened. I know that the damage n the grease is cosmetic but it’s the principle of not being up front with the customer, for an almost $1600 repair. I think they should have come down on the price, especially for being a repeat customer. Now let’s see how long this repair last!

Over the course of approximately 45 days I will outline my experiences at Rich’s Auto Tech, I took my 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited, 130K on it. I went there because the front end was wearing out tires. I expressed concerns about a leaking radiator hose, possibly need A/C re-charged, possibly replace serpentine belt, flush radiator, some play in the steering wheel. They suggested a “used car” inspection in order to pinpoint issue, to which I agreed. $120, which at the time I felt was reasonable. The result: Brake fluid needs to be flushed/replaced. I agreed to this. Rear Rotors need to be replaced. I agreed to this. A part in the steering wheel needed to be replaced, to this I agreed. CV joints need to be replaced. I agreed to this. “Radiator replaced, due to hose leak. I agreed to this. After replacement began running “hot”?? Thermostat needs to be replaced. I agreed to this. No coolant leak noted despite my concern?? A/C is good, so they say?? At the end of the day, I spent a little over 2K, had to go back because of a noise from the rear end and none of the steering wheel electronic buttons working. Apparently this was a lack of after the job quality control, OK, not an issue at this time. After a week, I go back, coolant still leaking, but keep in mind, I’m 1st owner, never had a radiator issue or over heat issue in 15 years. I go back and they determine a hose connected to the radiator is leaking, will replace the radiator to the tune of $625, I wait it gets done, I drive away and within 5 minutes running hot, take it back, I inform them that overheating has never been an issue and was not noted in the Richs Auto “USED CAR INSPECTION” to which I paid over a $100?? They had no answer to that. They then replaced the thermostat; they stated the old one was bad, replaced to the tune of $180. I drive away, within 5 minutes overheats again, take it back, they inform me it must be bad water pump, they replace it, I’m well over 3K at this point. They come back to tell me that I have a cracked block and should replace the old motor with a used one to the tune of an additional 6K. I’m dumbfounded at this point and feel as though I have been taken advantage of at the very least. I highly recommend you avoid this business at all costs, go somewhere else. I went to Richs Auto Tech on 4 occasions in 45 days, I waited 4-6 hours at each appointment, 3 of which I had to UBER home, they had no one available to take me home. The technicians typically rolled in when they felt like it, Rich’s Auto were not good at keeping you informed, instead you had to repeatedly call or go by. I go in with a front end issue, spend 3K, and walk out with a vehicle that is no longer drivable. I’m doing a “Dragnet” Joe Friday here, just the facts, I will let you decide If I got screwed, little doubt on my side. I had no issues with Cody, but there was a heavy set guy, bearded and balding who on several occasions was rude when queried about what was happening to my vehicle. They day I went there to pick up my keys in order move the vehicle outside their lot so I could have 3K in repairs send the auto to a Junk Yard, as I walked out, he said “have a nice weekend”, I thought this was rude and belittling, I said “yeah whatever” as I walked out, at which point this same person said in a loud harsh voice asking me “so you have a problem”, I didn’t respond, instead I walked out, NEVER AGAIN. If i could give them a zero, would do gladly. Update: They sent me a Richs Auto Tech $20 gift card, anyone want it? ROLFMAO.

I needed a A/C evac and recharge. Prior to bringing my car to Rich's Auto, my car was still blowing "cool" air, just not frigid like it use to be. A different shop had done a diagnosis and told me I did NOT have a leak but they wanted $270 to do the evac and recharge. Rich's auto offered to do it for less than that, so I decided to give them a chance and I greatly regret it. I also got an oil change and requested they filled my tires to 30 psi. After about an hour and a half of waiting, They told me I had a leak and needed a new compressor and wanted about $900 for that.....I said don't worry about it then. The car is not worth the repair. I paid $204 in total for the oil change and the labor of the attempted evac and recharge. I got my keys and checked my tires. They were at 28psi. So that right there, shows they did not do their job. Even worse, I turn my car on and it blows HOT AIR!!!!!! I drove for 5 minutes thinking it would kick in. NOPE! I drove back to Rich's auto demanding refund for the attempted evac and recharge. Tehy said "no sir". Basically I PAID to make things worse? Before I brought the car in, it was blowing cool! So in short, all they did was vacuum out my freon to back me into a corner to make me think I needed a repair! How do I know this was the case? When I got home, I added $30 can of freon myself. My car blowed cool air immediately. The next day, I had to drive to a place that required me to be in my car for 3 hours. My a/c worked the ENTIRE TIME!!!!! Again, these criminals just sucked out the freon and that was that. If I really did have a leak and they cared about customer service, they could have at least added some freon back even if it were "temporary". BUT the mechanic told me and the desk person that my car was NOT holding the freon and that it was "Spitting it right out!" B.S!!!!!!! My little $30 freon can is still working and car is blowing cold air. Bunch of liars! No honest people at this place. Stay far away!!! See this pic here? This is a fish tank they have in their waiting room. I should have seen this and ran. It's hard to see, but it is long overdue for a cleaning with horrible amounts of algae. Amazingly, it has just ONE fish alive in it. To me, the neglect to clean this speaks volumes in their negligence and who they are as people. Stay away from this place. Mainstream places might be highway robbery, but at least there is more accountability.

Rich’s Auto Tech is an honest shop! We had a dealership tell us that we had an oil leak in our oil pan and wanted to charge us $1500 to fix it. We decided to get another opinion. We took it to Rich’s. They checked it out and said nothing was wrong. So they saved us $1500!

This company is amazing. I dropped off my vehicle on Wednesday and the staff took me home and picked me up. I brought my vehicle in for a bad tail light, possibly electrical issue. In the midst of them checking the electrical system my tail light started working again. They wouldn't take money from me and honestly were very honest! As a woman in the community I am very pleased to have Rich's auto, they are honest and get the job done! Thank you all again!

Scheduled maintenance for 2 weeks ago: tires, oil change, fluids. We ended up having to get it towed to the shop on the day of the scheduled appointment. The vehicle sat for 10 days at the shop... with a diagnosis of fuel pump issues. Well, there was an issue with fuel... it was out of diesel. Ended up getting it towed to a real diesel shop, (thank you Ryder Diesel!) for that free diagnosis. Within the hour the other shop confirmed no issues with fuel pumps, had the tires mounted and changed, and we're doing the other maintenance. If there had been ANY honest communication from Rich's, we would have been content. Better management, honest conversations and better customer service, then maybe you'll get back to what you were once known for.

Rich’s Auto Tech is a gem in the world of auto repair! Service with a smile, fair pricing and excellent work. The waiting room is comfortable and the WiFi strong. Care and follow through was very much appreciate. Well done all the way around. Bravo and thanks.

I wanted so badly to give these guys a 5 star review BUT I gave them 3 due to them taking ownership of a mistake. preface I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited 98k miles. In January I got my rear brakes and rotors done. Everything was fine for a few days but then I started hearing this metal on metal sound, it was faint at first so I thought it was unrelated then progressively got worse but was intermittent. Jeep owners know why I disregarded this as “quirk”. So I scheduled to have a part replaced due to a slow leak, it was an oil cooler housing. I took it in, they replaced it, and then when I was waiting for my car I noticed it in the parking lot and the guys were under the hood. It was closing time so no big deal, Cody advised it’s an overheating issue they’d be done in a sec. I drove it away and it seemed fine, I picked my daughter up from softball and upon return home my car just stopped. I hit the gas and nothing happened. I contacted them the next morning after discovering it was a clip that was not properly put back. They towed my vehicle at no cost to me, brought it back, fixed it and apologized assured me it was good and it has been since. Today, I replaced my tires and I asked my tire guys if they heard that noise. The one I mentioned earlier in my review. They showed me a picture, which I’ve attached, that shows a bolt missing from when my brakes were done and a metal piece where it shouldn’t be. They found a bolt and fixed it at no cost to me which I appreciated. Honestly even after the clip mishap I was still willing to give Rich’s auto 5 stars, but after finding out that yet again another small detail was missed I think the guys in the back need to be trained better. I work on the outside of my car myself and I put all my bolts in my pockets for this reason, it seems simple enough. Anyway, use at your own risk, I do give them credit for fixing the mistake they made and not trying to charge me for it. I was also nice so maybe that’s something the negative reviews don’t have in common.

This is the only shop I trust with my cars. I'm new to the area and was recommended to try it out. They have great customer service and warm professional people. Not only did they fix a car of mines that no one could figure out, they did it in a timely fashion. I recommend this place for my own family and anyone else. From a old classic to a the newer cars, THEY CAN FIX IT. If you want to get back on the road take it there. The owner is a nice guy and cares about his customers. From loner cars to refreshments in the waiting area. Thank you guys for your work

A dreadful experience. Incompetent and dishonest. Drove my car in for relatively simple repairs which should take 2-3 days in shop. After 36 days, Rich’s hadn’t finish repairs and couldn’t even get the car started. I paid them $1,482 to get my car out of there. I had it towed ($200) to another shop who fixed it in 2-1/2 hours ($305). Cody, the manager was rude and condescending several times when I asked about why it was taking so long to repair. Zoe, the owner, refused to respond to several phone calls to discuss my dissatisfaction. Just a terrible experience!

Terrible service. I took my truck in and asked them to look over my late Fathers 71 F100 sat for 10 years. “Only needs a Master cylinder” work complete. Picked up truck overheated on the way home. Called to talk to someone and Cody had to yell at me because “he can’t fix every Thing.” I am a retired Special Forces Soldier with a Purple Heart never have I been treated so poorly. Cody did not do his job the first time and wanted me to pay to have my vehicle towed back to them after they didn’t do their job. Money grubbing dirty people. I tried to have a reasonable conversation with them but Cody was determined to inform me how he is right and I am wrong. This truck was My fathers and left to me, I would think that people would have compassion for not only veterans who have bled so they can run their busines, and for someone to finish their Fathers project. Not at This place. Take your business elsewhere. Knowing Cody there will probably be a huge finger pointing reply to this post. Sad that people like that get to talk to customers. How do I contact you personally with no contact information or even a name? How can I trust that your business will honestly do the work correctly this time. Short answer is I can’t, after your manager Cody yelled, hung-up, and disrespected me I can’t recommend or even possibly think about returning to you. 12/20/24- Zoe it has been over 2 weeks now and you haven’t reached out. I reached out using the email you recommended to us to use in your reply. I haven’t received anything back yet from you. Please answer the email I sent you. It was sent to you at the address you requested to be used. I don’t know any other way to reach you. Please see the attached screenshot and search your emails I’m sure “it was sent to my spam” for public release reasons I understand.

Dishonest Pricing, Shady Practices, and a Complete Loss of Trust! After 12+ years as a loyal customer, I’m beyond disappointed with Rich’s Auto. My 2009 Honda Civic had a common ignition lock issue. Instead of fixing the lock cylinder, they claimed it couldn’t be removed and said I needed to replace the entire housing — quoting me $1,068. I called the dealership, and their total was $760 for the same job (parts, labor, programming). How does a small shop charge more than a dealership? Cody claimed he was “only making $100” on the part, but I bought it myself from AutoZone for $394 — the same supplier they use. When I asked to bring in my own part, Cody yelled at me on the phone, “JUST BRING IT IN!” Without telling me, and to make his money anyway, he raised the labor rate from $140/hr to $200/hr, which I had to ask for clarification later. After deciding not to use Rich’s, decided to tow my car home, I was hit with a surprise $253 diagnostic fee that was never disclosed upfront. I paid it. At home, I hired a locksmith. For $100, he replaced and programmed the lock cylinder in 15 minutes — the same part Rich’s said couldn’t be removed. This wasn’t my first bad experience. On a past visit, with an appointment… I waited 4 hours just to have my brake pads checked while other customers were helped ahead of me. If you check their reviews from the past year, you’ll see countless 1-star reviews with similar complaints. Management’s response? Offer to “fix it” privately instead of addressing their shady practices. After 12 years of loyalty, I feel misled, overcharged, and treated like a mark. If you value honesty and fair pricing, stay far away from Rich’s Auto.

Recently had major work done to my vehicle with an issue I caused of my own and had it towed to rich's after receiving the estimate I was very pleased with what I had to pay knowing the problem could have been avoided if I just had the initial work done to my vehicle. After rich's auto fixed the issue a few months later I had a leak that I took back and the issue was resolved in one day. They honored the warranty for they work that was done and I was not charged anything for the repair. Thanks Cody for making my experience first class with you guys and hopefully I do not have to come back but if I ever had any issues with my vehicle Rich's auto tech is where I would bring it. Thanks

I’ve been to Rich’s two previous times, for a radiator repair and water pump for my Ford Taurus SHO. Recently, the transmission on the Taurus needed to be replaced. I took it to a different shop because they said they could replace it for $1700, but afterwards, the speedometer wasn’t working correctly. I took the car to Rich’s. They found the original shop put the wrong transmission in and that’s why the speedometer was off. They also pointed out the seal to the PTU might be broken. They did not charge me for the diagnosis. I see many negative reviews for this shop. My experience with Rich’s has been nothing short of excellent.

Sam was very easy to communicate with and was honest about the work that needed to be done and the cost that followed. He also provided me with updates along the way and kept his word with the work that was done. Thanks Sam! The work was complete and my truck was fixed no problem. It was in the same condition it was brought in as and I haven’t noticed a single issue with the repair or the parts that were put back together (the entire dashboard). Everything is lined up and looks factory.

My husband and I brought in a 71 Ford F100. Rich’s did not do what they were supposed to do and fix the truck. They took advantage of us. Not sure if they saw that he is a 100% disabled retired veteran and knew he had guaranteed monthly income or that they just don’t care. The owner sent a real nice long message to my husbands last google review. Said he would do his best to make it right or whatever. It was fake why would an owner ask us to reach back out to him without providing any contact information or a simple name. Don’t want to give out your information on a public forum? That’s why you own the business and can call the customer you have our contact information. You did great humbling yourself and saying the words people want to hear, but you did no action. So to date you did not do your job, Ripped off a 100% disabled veteran, your employees yelled and belittled a Purple Heart recipient, and you caused more damage to my late Father in Laws vehicle that he left to my husband, you have made zero attempts to do anything to “make it right.” Actions have meaning words are fake if you do not take action behind them. People please be warned about this place.

Honest, caring, old fashioned, auto service where they take care of your car and their primary concern is repeat business, not jacking you with dishonest, unnecessary work. The culture at Rich's Auto Technology is focused on doing what is in the customer's best interest. There are plenty of other car repair businesses nearby that are focused on extracting the maximum bill today. And they have a sense of humor, also. Bring your vehicle here with confidence!

I recently went to Rich’s auto tech to have my brakes worked on. They replaced an air intake and charged me 500$ they claim to have removed a seal in the master cylinder but this is a lie because the brake booster was never removed or tested. I verbalized that the brake booster was the issue and they never even checked it. They replaced a simple hose and would not give me my car back unless I paid the 500$. They did not have the o ring that they supposedly removed. They refused to give me an invoice several times and still will not. They get angry when asked questions and stonewalled me when asked for an invoice. This is the most white trash shop I have ever experienced. I personally work on cars and just didn’t have the time because of how busy I was at work. I will never return to this shop. They are professional scam artists. I wish my experience was better. They lied through their “teeth” to me and still will not give me an invoice unless I have a lawyer. A friend and I replaced the brake booster and it functions flawlessly now. For much less than 500$. They only replaced 50-70$ worth of parts. And couldn’t have been more than 15 minutes of work.

Honestly deserves 0 stars. They are suspicious and are there to just scam you. I brought my car in to get my A/C fixed and it still continues to have the same problem. After brining it in again they said it’s your blower. Which is what I said I believed it was but they continued to claim it wasn’t. I also got other work done to my car and wanted me to pay another 500 on top of the 2,400 l already paid. My warranty company also refused to cover most things and stated that when they brought an inspector they couldn’t explain why certain things needed fixed. It’s honestly suspicious and concerning. They are there to scam you and not help you in any way. I am expecting them to comment back making me look like I am in the wrong like they do on every other response. It’s shameful to see how they respond back to people. As a business you should be able to listen to complaints and respond better. DO NOT GO HERE!

My family has been using Rich‘s Auto Tech for about 3 years now. Over the course of that time they have become like family. They are trustworthy, they go above and beyond and I love the perks like a free loaner car and my vehicle getting a quick wash before picking up!

This so call repair shop is a joke! About a month ago I brought my work truck in to be repaired. It cost a little over $3,000 to be fixed. I chose this shop because they advertise as home of the loaner car. Well let me tell you they never have a loaner car to loan. I agreed to get my truck repaired there but I need a loaner. After a month of going into the shop on different days to ask about the loaner so I can get my truck fixed they never have a loaner car! So I decided to just take my truck to Glenn's to be fixed. Best choice I made. These people are liars of being home of the loaner cars

Let me tell you about an amazing group of people who are amazing at what they do. These guys made me feel welcome and like a part of their family. The work that they have done on my vehicle is by far the best. Any questions or concerns that I have had they have gone above and beyond to make sure I understand what is happening every step of the way. I need information, they got it. I need a rescue because my car wanted to be the devil, they rescued me. I will not go anywhere else for vehicle repair but to Rich's. Thank you guys so much for everything!! Best shop around by far!!

Mike, Craig, Sam, and Cody are awesome! I was nervous to go to a shop because I was a girl, duh. But the guys over at Rich's kept it pretty straightforward and honest. They told me what my car needed and let me choose if I wanted to get it done or not, they weren't pushy or sneaky. I was recommended this auto shop by a local car enthusiast and I am glad I trusted him and Rich's Auto Tech :) Also, in the holiday spirit, they gave me a cute little stuffed animal with a coupon for my next visit! Customer service is.... 10/10!

Monday, I had a cylinder misfire in my 2014 Dodge Charger. Tuesday, I called several shops in the area and Rich's was the first one to respond back. I got my car towed there, told them the issue, and signed things over. They were understanding with my distress, and sent me daily updates as they worked on my car. Tuesday, dropped off the car in the afternoon. Wednesday, car was OBD scanned and was called to give permission for a "Level 1 Test" Thursday, they needed to replace the fuel injectors and told me it would run about $950. Friday, my car was ready for pickup. I've had my car back for about a week now, and she seems to drive better than before. She's very quick to start and she seems to be sipping gas more efficiently. I am mostly happy with the service here and the quick turnaround. My only gripes were that the Loaner Cars they offer were booked (Understandable) but they could not give me a ride to my job which was 6.2 miles away. They only had a 5 mile range to drop people off. They did seem to run my car through a car wash before returning it, so that was nice of them. All in all, I will keep this place in mind if, heaven forbid, something else goes badly wrong with my car.

I’ve been going to Rich’s for over three years. I highly recommend them, their prices are good, open communication and do fast work. The staff of my recent purchase was exemplary. The mechanic didn’t let me leave until he got the alignment and work right. Even though it took five hours he noticed the alignment was still off, and he went the extra mile to make fix it. I want this this type of dedication. No complaints, and love the work. Will always recommend and being my truck here no matter what. Best mechanic in the area. Highly recommend.

Lousy service. Lousy communication. Minimal effort. Truck sat at the shop for over 6 months with no updates (unless I called) Spent about $2,000 and will never go back. They also left the wiring exposed on my replacement part. Horrible experience.

I have been going to Rich’s for many years now. The service has always been great. They have gone above and beyond by offering free loaner cars, washing my car prior to delivery and ensuring that my issues have been resolved as quickly as possible. On more than one occasion they have even saved me money. Their new front office person Sam is such a professional young man when he answers the phone. Cody has always been very good at explaining what is needed in detail without making me feel dumb and Craig who has done most of my services for the last couple of years has always done top notch work. I absolutely recommend this shop!

Rich's is by far the only place I fully trust with my corvette. They perform excellent work and tend to keeping the vehicle from getting any unwanted scratches or you getting it back anyway other than the way they received it. I give Rich's a 5 star rating with any hesitation. Everyone at Rich's acts in a professional manner each and every time I go there.

(Rich Kneifl) - I needed to replace my power steering pump in my 1966 Vette and was very satisfied with the service friendliness and professional of everyone at Rich's. My regular mechanic retired recently and I'm very happy to have found Rich's. I will use them exclusively for all my automotive needs in the future.
