I am not sure where to start, I have two children attending college in a Melbourne as freshman. I live 3 hours away on the west coast. Being in the auto repair business most of my life and the last 30 years on the Collison repair side. My 17 yr old called me 9/8 and said her 06 Silverado Z71 was giving her issues under braking not wanting to stop and shuttering. As I had been told Classic was the only place to call in that area I reached out on Tuesday morning. Lisa was absolutely amazing on the phone and very happy to help me right away with the concern. She asked me to have the vehicle dropped off weds morning early. My daughter went there and was treated like a queen. They took the vehicle in right away, looked at it and diagnosed some major front braking concerns. Lisa called me to explain what they had found. She told me if we could leave it they would repair it the same day. They go over and above to help the college students in the area knowing most families are far away. My daughter went off to classes which they also offered to drive her if needed. Lisa called me back with a quote on the needed repairs which i could not believe was accurate as it was at such a reasonable cost I had expected much much more. They repaired the vehicle completely as promised at a more than fair price and my daughter was back in the vehicle at the end of the day. It was an absolutely amazing experience that is almost unheard of in this day and age. It was so good I would consider having my vehicles serviced there while in town on visits

Our son is a student at Florida Tech and we live out of state, so finding a trustworthy shop nearby is very important. Earlier this week his car wouldn’t start. A friend jumped it and he went to AutoZone, where they told him the battery was fine and that he just shouldn’t leave his phone charger plugged in when the car was off. An hour later, the car wouldn’t start again (with no charger connected).
Based on recommendations from other FIT parents, we had him take it to Classic Automotive. They were fantastic and super helpful! They quickly diagnosed that the battery was actually bad, and even provided him with a temporary battery so he wouldn’t miss class while waiting for the new one. Once the new battery arrived, they installed it right away.
As out-of-state parents, it means so much to know our son is in good hands. Thank you, Classic Automotive, for your honesty, kindness, and excellent service!
Playful, helpful, and extremely fair individuals, especially to those who are students or military. Might be more, but those are the discounts I know of. I got some break pads and an oil change for under $300 which (and maybe I’ve been scammed elsewhere), is unheard of. I’m super grateful for Lisa and her team. Really helped me after my car really needed it. Other friends of mine have had the same positive experience with the place.

I’m going through cancer treatment and my car decided to break down. A friend called to make an appointment and we had it towed last night. They started work right away on my Kia. Ever since being a student down at FIT, Ive had trouble with my car a couple times. When bringing it down to the shop, Lisa was super helpful and straightforward when she told me the issues of my car. I recommend any other students to visit their shop if they encounter car trouble, they don’t disappoint!

Had an overheating issue on a 2016 Chrysler 200 and dropped the car off on a Sunday, putting the keys in their lockbox. Called them the following day to let them know I had dropped it off, and they said they were already working on it. The problem (bad thermostat & housing) was diagnosed by Tuesday, and the repair was completed by Wednesday at a fair and reasonable price. Picked it up on Wednesday and haven’t had any issues since repaired over a month ago. Super quick turnaround & professional service done at a fair price. I’ll be recommending this shop to anyone who needs a repair or general maintenance.
My wife and I were down to one car , so we limped from Cocoa to Melbourne, first dropping off my wife at work , then drive to Classic Automotive where Lisa Had Eon diagnose the problem, I had no option but to wait , however these folks are great! Not even an hour later I was back on the road with our car running like a top !

We had what we thought to be a terminal situation with our 96 Ford Ranger over the last three days, however Wayne and Lisa have a never say die attitude and will try everything possible in order to meet a customers needs.
Lisa diagnosed the electrical issue and for the second time saved my work truck from the salvage yard!
We are beekeepers and even though only a small time cottage industry, this kind of work ethic is greatly appreciated!
Their prices are incredibly fair and they will never try to sell you on repairs you do not need, in fact they will let you know if you do not need something done.

Went here on a recommendation because we have a '69 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Communication was not good. Had a list of items to be done on our classic. Had to ask repeatedly and make numerous reminders about what I wanted done. In the end, it didn't all get done and took longer than initially stated. In and around the shop is a mess. Won't go back.

My daughter’s 2016 Jeep Renegade engine would not turn over to start. She is from NJ attending college in Florida and did not know of any reputable auto shops in the area. I reached out on her college parent page for Florida Tech and Classic Auto was highly recommended by numerous student’s parents. The parents were all right! Owner Lisa Locke went out of her way to jump my daughter’s car in the parking lot and looked at it the following day to determine if it was the alternator or the battery. Once she determined it was the battery and the battery was fully charged she sent her on her way with the piece of mind it would not stop running again. About a year prior while there was construction on campus my daughter had multiple holes in her tires from nails at the construction site. We did not realize until this week she took the car to Lisa at Classic Auto to have her tires repaired. Lisa made sure her tires would be safe to drive on from Florida to NJ. Highly recommend Classic Auto!
Sent my daughter (student at FIT) here to have them check her brakes. They replaced them and did great work at a very good price. They communicated well with me (I am out of state) and sent a pic of the wear on the pads. Would recommend them to anyone needing vehicle service.
I was having some issues with my Chrysler Town and Country. I called first thing in the morning and they told me to bring it right in and they would take a look. They looked at it right away, determined the problem and fixed it. The mechanics and owners were very knowledgeable and professional . They explained to me what was wrong and what I needed and their prices were fair and reasonable! I would highly recommend Classic Automotive Repair.
Highly recommended!! Honest people and fair pricing! They go over and above to help you get on your way. We went to Dealership thinking because of the warranty we had to. Dealership was going to charge me $1450 to fix my cars control arm and also said the struts needed to be replaced for $920. I contacted Classic Automotive for a second opinion as they work on all of our other cars. $599 later, they fixed the vehicle and new struts weren’t necessary!!! Thanks Classic Automotive!!

It’s hard to find honest dependable people when it comes to auto repair especially being a single woman. People often try to take advantage of that! These guys have always been good to me. I once sold them a car that the transmission had gone out in. They looked it up and realized there had been a recall on that car just for the transmission. They took the car, had transmission replaced, and called me to tell me I could have it back if I wanted! They could have not said a word and sold the car for way more than I sold it to them for. Talk about honesty!!! I never would have known! I’m happy to say my 85 year old grandmother has the car now. Excellent service and best prices around!

We just moved from Colorado Springs to Palm Bay. Four hours north of arriving our A/C blew out. I went to our local real estate broker, Marcie Bolt, asking if there was anyone both trustworthy and reasonable; she suggested Classic without hesitation. They diagnosed the problem immediately, had my parts in the next morning and repaired the car. They found another broken item while working on it, but instead of replacing the item and charging me more, they simply fixed it!
There are probably other honest folks out there, but I hate risking testing other places when I now have someone who is reliable and trustworthy.
You can save the flashy exteriors for someone who wants to throw money to the wind, Wayne & Lisa are my go-to from now on.

My first time using a mechanic in town and I went to the right place. I was referred to them by someone and I'm glad I went here. They're good, honest and affordable. I was pretty lucky because they were also super quick too! I plan on using Classic Automotive for any future repairs I may need.
Unlike the early post, Wayne and Lisa have always been courteous and professional to my husband and me. They have been servicing our vehicles and our children's vehicles for 10 years. We are always satisfied with the repairs and their prices are the best in town. They are very honest! We highly recommend them.
They TRULY stand behind their work. I recently had a newly installed fuel pump fail while I was traveling which stranded me out of town. *This was a bad part and not an issue with the repair.* When Lisa found out, she called me to say "Send her the bill and she would take care of everything!". That's service above and beyond in my book as she and Wayne really care about their customers!
As a former certified mechanic and auto dealership service manager (35 years ago), it's hard for me to "let go" and have someone fix my car, now that I can no longer do so myself. I am also very suspicious of the trade industry today. I was extremely happy with the results I received here. The repairs were done well before the time that I expected, at the price they quoted. There was no pressure to "up sell" other repairs. Good service - good pricing - pleasant to deal with.
I thought they were honest. I had been their customer for 10 years. But recently I had to think otherwise sadly.
I took my van which had broadsided another car. The Classic Automotive (CA) gave me an estimate of $3,000. I paid the money thinking that the CA would restore it back to the original condition. However, they just restored on the outside, the hood, the bumper, and passenger side outer fender. not the broken inner fenders of both sides, the missing front undercover, and the windshield water reservoir. I found one after another things they didn't repair that they were supposed to do and things they broke as they were doing repairs. They broke a part of plastic cover for the screw that holds the hood on the passenger side. They broke the windshield water tank and pump. They muted the alarm system. They did replace the passenger side inner fender and the tank for which I had to pay for the parts. They did install the undercover. I asked them to replace the broken pump. They said it would take a week to get the part. It's been two weeks, they haven't call me yet. And if they do, I will not take my van there. I rather ask them to give me money to repair it somewhere else because when they repair a part, they break another part.
They were ok with mechanical repair, but not with body work.
I spent $3,000 to them. They just worked on the parts that are seen but not the parts unseen.
I hope they reimburse money for the repairs they didn't do so that I can have my van repaired at another shop.
