Poor service It was pouring rain outside and I was the only customer in the store yet I was told to get it from the shelf myself, while I was being looked at. When I said I could not find it, I was told that I'm not looking in the right place. Eventually a second employee confirmed that the item was not in stock. I went down the street to AutoZone and had my parts in minutes

If I could give zero stars, I would! Read on to find out why. I needed a new battery for our 2005 Solara convertible. Since I live in South Melbourne Beach, O'Reilly's was the first auto parts place that I came to going west on New Haven Ave. I parked my car out front and went inside. There was one person behind the counter and no other customers at that time. I explained to that individual that I needed a new battery for our car. I could tell right away that I was not going to enjoy dealing with this person. I would describe his demeanor as bordering between indifferent and unpleasant. The individual's name was Ken or Kenneth. After quoting me some prices on batteries, I asked him if he would be able to replace the battery for me. He said that he couldn't because he was the only one in the store at that time. He said he would remove the old battery, however. When he said that, I said "Don't you only have to put the new battery in and connect the terminals?" His response was "It's not always that easy” and said that if I wanted anyone to help me in removing the old battery and installing the new battery, I would have to return later that day. Upon that ridiculous, callous statement, I walked out and stated that I would not be coming back to O'Reilly's again because of the way that I had been treated. I discovered there was an AutoZone only a 2-minute drive west of O'Reilly's. I went there, and there were at least six people working there. A very nice young man named Miguel helped me by testing our battery first, then recommending what my options for a new battery might be, and then removing the old battery, installing the new battery, and putting battery grease on both terminals. I will never patronize another O'Reilly's ever again based on this negative experience. I know a lot of guys who like to work on cars, and you can bet that I will be relating my negative experience at O'Reilly's to every one of them. I hope O'Reilly's at some corporate level reads this review and reprimands whoever it was behind the counter. Heaven forbid this guy was the actual store manager! Whoever this individual is, he has no business interfacing with customers.

I purchased a starter for around $100 because it was the cheapest option available nearby when my car stuck due to weak battery. At the time of purchase, the seller did not inform me that it was possible to loan the device. When I later tried to return the item, the seller refused to accept it back, citing that it was a non-refundable item. Overall, I had a very disappointing experience at this shop, and I would rate it one star due to the lack of transparency and poor customer service.

Everyone in this and every other oriellys I’ve been in has been friendly and helpful except today. Funny because he is the manager. Hopefully Kenneth is just having a bad day. If not maybe he should consider a job where he doesn’t have to talk to people. Not a pleasant experience.

I only shop Oriely’s for my car and truck parts. I’m always satisfied with the service, quality parts and warranty. Most the hand tools are lifetime guarantee. The rent a tool program is awesome for when you have that job you don’t have the tool for. The rewards program is awesome. Oriely’s is my go too one stop shop for everything.

I was disappointed that I ordered parts in the morning and was told to pick them up anytime after 330 ,I really didn't care I would have got them the next day,but when I got there 4:15 the young man said the driver was running late and would be there by 430 so ok I'll go get some gas and come back well no driver then comes 5 ok no driver ,the young man didn't call or do anything but be on his phone ,he was on it at 4:15 and he was on it when I left at 5.,I like O'Reilly's but I don't like it when the service is terrible.it happens from time to time.

Terrible Experience with Anthony at O'Reilly Auto Parts I usually don’t write reviews, but my experience with Anthony, an employee at O'Reilly, was so bad that I felt compelled to warn others. From the moment I walked in, he was unprofessional and downright rude. Not only did he barely acknowledge my presence, but he also seemed uninterested in helping me with the parts I needed. When I asked for assistance, he acted annoyed and brushed me off. I honestly don't know what his deal was, but it seemed like I was inconveniencing him just by being there. At one point, his behavior became so erratic that I felt completely disrespected and flustered. I ended up feeling light-headed and disoriented, almost like I was going to pass out—whether from the stress of dealing with him or the overwhelming atmosphere, I'm not sure. I don’t know if Anthony was having a bad day or if this is just his usual attitude, but it's inexcusable. I left feeling not only disrespected but genuinely shaken. I won’t be returning to this O'Reilly location, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid this employee.

Well well well!! What to say about this WONDERFUL store! We'll for starters these workers DO NOT want to work or even know what the hek they are doing! We go in telling them "hey we pulled in the store and parked our car and now our car doesn't want to start what can it be?" They decide to bring the machine out to check the battery and they tell us flat out it's the alternator and they check to see if they have it in stock and of course they DON'T! We proceed to go to Auto Zone and tell one of the guys there at Auto Zone that we need an alternator because the guys at O'Reillys checked our car and that came out as the problem the car is having. The guy at Auto Zone looked at us and said "Are you sure the alternator is the problem because it sounds like that could be a battery problem" he proceeds to check the alternator and it came back just fine and he then proceeds to talk us threw what to do next to check and see if it's the battery or the alternator. We leave Auto Zone and go back to O'Reillys where our car is parked and not mobile and remove our battery from our car and we tell one of the employees what the guy at Auto Zone told us and if he would check our battery again now with the battery out of our car. Sure enough the guy flat out lies to us and tells us he can't test my battery because the battery needs to be charged up before he can test it. I just tell him to give me my battery and I proceed to head to Auto Zone to purchase a battery there and the guy there just starts laughing after I tell him what the guy at O'Reillys tells me. He checked the battery and sure enough it fails the test marking 0% on the machine! I was so pissed because my husband spent more than a hour or 2 trying to take our alternator out the car for then it not even be the dang problem in the 1st place and have taken it out for NOTHING! Long story short here. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION you'll be disappointed and may leave upset like we did. If need to go to an O'Reillys location go to the palm bay rd location and see my guy Manny! He's the best of the best!!

I purchased a bulb replacement for my left rear turn signal. Your company says they will put it in for free.The person waiting on me had no idea how and stated he was the only one there! My garage charged me forty dollars plus tax to put in one bulb.

Came to the store last night and both the employees were extremely helpful, and made sure I got everything in my order. anytime I'm in the store all the employees try their hardest as a mobile mechanic and third party fleet mechanic this help a outstanding amount. I'd rather orielys then the others because employees like this store has.

Turning light didn't work and I came to the store on July 7th. It didn't take no more than 3 minutes for the store manager Glenn to figure out what type of bulb I need and sent to the right section. I asked for help to replace and we figured it out that VW is quite different from other non-Germany models&made(in a more complicated way of course). I went back home, checked YouTube, but found that I didn't have the right type screw-driver. Today I came to the store again and Glenn just suggested using a straight one in the same diameter of the screw ( I realized that how stupid my friend and I were...we definitely have different sizes of straight screw-divers. Neither of us thought we could use it instead). Then Glenn and I worked together to replace the new turning light bulb. 20 minutes' work saved me a lot. The store is clean and organized, easy access to everything you need for your vehicle. Above all, people as Glenn makes it the No.1 place that I would like to visit for future reference.

Glenn was a huge help! We got a screw in our tire while visiting my mom in Melbourne. He let me use his personal air compressor to pump the tire up after I got it plugged. Great service!

Nice size clean store and parking lot. Helpful and polite staff. I bought some odd parts that were not in stock, but they ordered it for me and my parts were ready for me to pick them up later the same day. Needless to say I will be shopping there again. After short conversation with employee I found out also provide a lot of free services like specialty tool rentals, etc. They also offer brake rotors turning for affordable price.

Sunday July 19, 2020 I called to check on the store hours. Alberto answered and was exceptionally polite and helpful. Great phone etiquette is rare today. Great start! When I arrived I was greated by Josh. His help was spot on as he made it easy for me to find everything on my list and answered all my questions. Very refreshing customer service indeed. My project is going great and when I need something else I know exactly where to go for a great shopping experience. Prices for what I needed where fair as well. Also noteworthy, the store is very clean. There is ample parking and a bike rack which is well placed In front of the store for your use at arrival. Awesome! I tend to go here whenever I need anything auto related. The staff is always extremely helpful and go above and beyond troubleshooting for you. They're great with giving you their opinion on what's best for your vehicle, even if it's the cheaper option. They don't go out of their way to reccomend the pricier option if cheaper alternatives are just as effective. Real nice guys, overall a great store. They tend to have anything I need so it's a one stop shop (and on the rare occasion they don't, they order it in quickly.) This one's for you, John

I've been a 'Shade-tree mechanic' most of my life. In the old days we had to go to local Mom & Pop Auto Parts stores. Buying parts was NOT easy back then. So many times they wouldn't have what you needed, or it would be quite expensive, or they'd have to order it from 'the warehouse'. Recently, in the past couple of years, I've been loyal to O'Reilly Auto Parts. Their stores are meticulously clean, well stocked and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This morning, I had the 'Check Engine' light come on in my 2013 BMW. I was NOT happy about that, naturally. Plus, I'm in Melbourne for a reunion, I live near Tampa. So, I pulled into the closest O'Reilly to see if they'd run a diagnostic check for me. This service is FREE. I was immediately greeted by Anthony. The first thing he asked is "Did you just get gas?" Right then I knew he was in the know! I had just gotten gas the night before. Next he asked if my gas cap was on correctly. I answered "Yes". (Bad gas and a loose gas cap are the two MAIN reasons for an unexplained Check Engine Light usually). We walked out to my car, he hooked up his OBD(On Board Diagnostic) tester and quickly pulled up a trouble code and a description. Fortunately for me, it was a very minor issue that would likely resolve itself, would not damage the engine or affect driving and did not require any parts. (No good for O'Reilly!) I couldn't have been any happier all the way around! With O'Reilly, Anthony and a simple answer not requiring BMW-type expenses..... Thanks!

Always has the part I'm looking for. Could of been 5 star but the guy at register was just talking to another customer about non related things for at least 10 minutes. Had to wait for another associate who was working outside helping a customer.

We were out of state and having trouble. We stopped To buy parts and didn't know how many parts that we would need. They said work on it here and we have tools to let you use. They even had to go to another store to get us more parts. It is wonderful to find people who care about you and are willing to actively help. Thank you so much.
